Introduction --------------- Welcome to the Much Games official strategy guide for The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask. In this guide, you will learn how to finish the game, plus have all the secrets, items, and songs that are in the game. There are also some extra songs in the cheat section you can try out. ----------------- 2. Strategy Guide ----------------- -------------------- 2.1 The First 3 Days -------------------- After chasing after your horse to get your Ocarina of Time Back, and become a Deku Scrub, you should soon find yourself in Clock Town. Go to North Clock Town behind the Clock Tower, and visit the Great Fairy. There is a little fairy missing, and you have to go around town to find it. During the day, that fairy is in the Laundry pool. Go to South Clock Town and take the stairs. Jump across the water to get her. During the night, she is in east Clock Town and you will have to use the flower to get her. Once you have her, then go back and the Great Fairy will give you a bubble power. Once you leave the Great Fairy's home, blow up the ballon the kid is trying to bust and talk to him. Take his challenge and find all 5 of the children. 2 children are in North Clock Town, 2 children are in East clock town, and 1 Child is in West Clock Town. You have until morning to catch them. Once you have them all you will get a password. Go to East Clock Town and talk to the kid that is guarding the entrance next to City Hall. When you reach the wise man, he will ask you if you want to look through the telescope. Say yes and zoom in on the Skull Kid on top of Clock Tower.Once you see the Moon's Tear outside the Observatory, go outside the door and get it. Bring it back to South Clock Town. Go next to the flower. Give the Deku Scrub the Moon's Tear and he will give you the deed to the flower. Use the flower to get to the Clock Tower door. Once it hits midnight on the 3rd day those door's will open. Go up those doors, and hit the Skull Kid with your bubble. Get the Ocarina of Time, and you will learn the Song of Time. Play that song and your game will be saved. Go back to the Happy Mask Shop Owner. He will play the Song of Healing. The Deku Scrub is now in a mask. You might want to stick around here as regular Link, and esspecially do the fairy thing over again. This way, you will be able to join the Bombers Club, and gain access to the Astral Observatory, and get the Moon's Tear once again. There arew some Heart Piece that you can get as well around town, and open a Bank Account so that you can start keeping your Rupees in tack. ------------------- 2.2 Southern Swamp ------------------- Go to the old potion shop here by hopping the lotus pads with the Deku Scrub. Turn back to normal, and go into the Potion Shop, and talk to a familar face. Talk to Kotake. After that go into the Woods of Mystery behind the Potion Shop. You will need to follow the Monkey to get to a trapped person. If you don't want to then follow these directions: Day Direction 1 Left, Right, Right, Straight, Left, and Left 2 Right, Left, Straight, Left, Left, and Right 3 Straight, Left, Right, Right, Straight, and Right Once you see Koume in need, then go back to Kotake. She will give you a potion to give to Koume. Go back through the Woods of Mystery, and give Koume the Potion. She will give you a free boat ride. You will get a free Camera to take a picture. Use it to take 1 picture in the picture contest (there will be more on that in the Secrets Section). Go into the place you first seen when you came to Southern Swamp. Talk to Koume to get that free ride. Once you get to where the monkey is then get off the ride, and follow him into the castle. Once you are in the castle you will need to remain a Deku Scrub. After you turn into a Deku Scrub, then go talk to the guards. They will tell you to go straight and watch the monkey's humiliation. Talk to the King, the butler, and then exit. Once you are back out to where you see the guards, do not go past them. Go left and sneak into a Secret Grotto at the end of the path. Once you are in that grotto, go talk to the Bean Seller. Planting beans in this game is extremely different from the Ocarina of Time. You need to add water to the seed. There is a place where you can do a test there, which also leads to a secret. When you have completed this part, get another bean, and another bit of spring water. Go up and this time at that hall go past the guards. Go left from where you exited (right from when you first entered), and hop the lilly pads until you reach the end. Once you are back on land, the plant the bean seed, and water it. You now have a way to get to the trapped monkey. You have to cross along without having to get caught. You need to use the flowers to do this. Defeat any Deku Scrubs with your Bubble Technique. If you get caught, you will have to start it all over again. When you are across to the monkey, you will learn a new song that you need to open the Woodfall Temple. Show the monkey the Deku Pipes, and he will teach you the Sonata of Awakening. Once you are thrown out of the castle, you are put back beyond the guards. Go on the lilly pads, to the spot of land opposite the right wall (when you look at it entering). This will take you to the top of the mushrooms. Go from mushroom to mushroom until you reach the owl. He is on the tablet that can make your transportation a lot easier. That song is the Song of Soaring. After you have learned this song, then go to Woodfall. ------------- 2.3 Woodfall ------------- When you enter Woodfall, you need toget to the platform opposite you. Use the bridges to get to that platform. Watch out for the Hiploops, they will only knock you off the wooden planks. The Mad Scrubs are nothing to worry about. Either take them out with your Bubble Attack, or get close to them and press A next to them. Once you have reached the platform, then turn back to normal, and hit the Owl Statue with your sword. You can now use the Song of Soaring to get to Woodfall. Turn back into a Deku Scrub. Get on the Deku Scrub mark and face towards the flower. Play the Sonata of Awakening. Once the Woodfall Temple was risen from the water, then use the flower to get to the other side. 9 chances out of 10 you will make it across. Just keep the Joystick forward, and you will make it. When you make it across, then enter the Woodfall Temple. -------------------- 2.4 Woodfall Temple -------------------- Step 1: Room 1: Use the Deku Scrub to get to go from platform to platform. Start with the one in front of you, and glide over to the chest on the right side of the room. After opening the chest, use the Deku Flower to glide north to the next platform. When you are ready to get to the nothern platform, be careful. There are 2 Giant Skulltulas that are in the way. If you do descend to the floor below, you will get some Black Boes will come after you. Step 2: Room 2: Watch out for the Deku Baba to the left of you. Once you have defeated it, go down the curved ramp. Watch out for the other Deku Baba. This one will attack. You will release your third Stray Fairy (Details at the bottom of this page) if you defeat it. If you do not have the Deku Mask on, then put it on. Hop across the water to the Wild Lotus Flowers in order to get to room 3. Step 3: Room 3: Remain as Deku Link in this room. Hop on the Wild Lotus Flowers to get to the flower in the center of the room. Use the flower to glide to the north end of the room, and collect the small key from the chest. Go back to the Deku Flower, and glide again to the exit on the east side of the room. Enter room 5. Step 4: Room 5: When you enter this room, you will have to battle 3 Snappers. If you turn into regular Link, then throw some bombs at them until they are on their backs. Then you can slash them with your sword. We here at Much Games take anothwe way. We remain as Deku Link, and borrow into the flowers. When they notice, us, and are over the flower, pop out of the flower, defeating them. When this section is done, you will get the Dungeon Map to the Woodfall Temple. Step 5: Room 3: After gaining the Dungeon Map, then go to room 2. Step 6: Room 2: Go back over to the other side, and use the key on the door. Step 7: Room 9: Turn back into regular Link if you have not done so. Push the block forward until you have a way to go to the right. Go around to the othr side of the block, and push it towards the dorr you just entered. Go next to the torch. If you have the Bunny Hood, most likely you do not, unless you are using cheats, then you can run a lot fast to get to the torch. Run to the torch next to the southern door. Enter that room. Step 8: Room 8: Once you enter this room, you will need to defeat both Dragonflies. Use your shield to block their stingers, and hit them with your sword. Once you have defeated them, then get your Compass out of the Chest, and return back into Room 9. Step 9: Room 9: There is a web that needs to be broken with fire. Use a Deku Stick and light a fire. Quickly run upstairs, jump from platform to platform, and break the web. Go on up to room 11. Step 10: Room 11: After defeating the Deku Babas downstairs, Tatl will warn you of the danger in this room. once you enter the darkness, take out your sword. 6 Black Boes will come at you with full force. After defeating them, get the chest with the Stray Fairy 7 inside. Light up a Deku Stick, and light the three torches along the walls. Step 11: Room 12: You might have a bit of difficulty with this section. Turn into Deku Link. You need to but your gliding accuracy to the test here. You ned to get on the moving flowers. Sounds easy yes, but there are Dragonflies out there. Get into a Deku Flower and Launch yourself in the air, and go towards the first Deku Flower platform moving back and forth. Get into that flower and glide to the second moving flower platform. From there, get into the flower, and go to the flower next to the exit in the Northeast corner of the room. Step 12: Room 2: Go to the northern platform of the upper balcony in room 2. Try to free the 8th Stray Fairy. After getting it, then look to the North West corner of the room. There is a second switch on the wooden outcropping. Use the Deku Flower, and glide to the ledge. Activate the switch. This will get you a chest, with the 9th Stray Fairy. Once you have gotten Fairy number 9, then climb the ladder at the east end of the room, and go into room number 3. Step 13: Room 3: Turn back into Regular Link in this room. Walk over to the door on the South end of the room. Step 14: Room 4: You will need to fight a Dinofos in order to get a Hero's Bow. Watch out for it's fire breath. Use your shield to stop his sword, and then attack with your sword. Each time you hit him successfully, a fire breath will come out. After you defeated Dinofos, then go to the chest and collect the Hero's Bow. Step 15: Room 3: Use the Hero's Bow to hit the eye. Once you go up, then you can use the Deku Flower to get to the door. For Stray Fairy numer 10, Shoot the beehive in the mouth of the Northern wall left of the door (when looking at the door). Step 16: Room 6: This is the final miniboss. His name is Gekko. He will call upon a Snapper to help defeat you. We here at Much Games likes to save ammo, such as bombs, so we use 3 things. They are Regular Link, Deku Link, and the Hero's Bow. Hit Gekko 3 times. He will then call upon Snapper. Use Deku Link, and hide into a flower. When Snapper is near you, junp out of the flower, causing Gekko to be thrown off Snapper. Turn Back into Link, and use the Hero's Bow to take care of Gekko. Once you have defeated him, Room 7 will open up. Step 17: Room 7: This is the easiest thing to do. Open the chest to get the Boss Key Gekko was guarding. Step 18: Room 6: Go back into Room 3. Step 19: Room 3: Use the Deku Flower to give you leverage to exit the door on the West side of the room. Step 20: Room 2: Use the Hero's Bow to shoot an Arrow at the torch in the middle of the wooden flower. This will turn the water back to normal. Get onto the flower. You will need to open up the door to the north. If you haven't played the Ocarina of Time, then you might be at a disadvantage. You need to shoot a flame from the torch to another torch located at the Northwestern end of the room. When you lit the torch, the door will open giving you a way to the boss. Step 21: Room 10: This room could be troublesome. There are 4 Stray Fairies in this room that are easy to get. 3 of them are in small caves. The 4th one is surrounded by a ring of fire. Use an arrow to free it, and the Great Fairy's Mask to obtain it. To reach the Boss, you will need to the top cave on the right side of the room. Hit the switch with an arrow, and the flames will die out temporarily. Glide to the next Deku Flower, then get into that and glide to the boss. Now it is time for the boss. His name is Odolwa. He is an easy boss, but he can make it difficult on you. He will send Locusts, and Scarabs after you. Z-Target Odolwa, and hit him during multiple times until he recovers and retreats. The rings of Fire he will throw will eliminate any locusts. The Scarabs can refill your hearts. Keep attacking Odolwa. Once he is defeated, you will get his remains. Congradulations You have now defeated Odolwa. You have also learned a new song called the Oath to Order. As for the Stray Fairies. There are 15 of them in each Temple. Here is how to get all 15 of them in this Temple, and how many are in each room. Room Fairies How To get The Fairy 1 2 1.) Use the Great Fairy's Mask. 2.) open the chest on the right next to the Deku Flower. 2 4 3.) defeat the Deku Baba. 4.) Break open a jar on the SouthEastern corner of the room. 5.) Walk into the bubble. 6.) Open the hidden chest once revealed. 3 1 7.) Shoot an arrow at the beehive in the mouth of the statue. 4 0 5 0 6 0 7 0 8 0 9 3 8.) Defeat the Skulltula hanging above. 9.) In another cave on the right side. 14.) In the small ring of fire. 11 1 15.) Open the chest after defeating the Black Boes. 12 0 ------------- 2.5 Snowhead ------------- Save the game after completing everything in the Woodfall area. Once again, slow down Time to make it easier to work with. Go to North Clock Town, and pass the guard. Use your arrows to shoot the spikes at the top of the boulders. This will give you a passage to Goron Village. Once you are at Goron Village, you can upgrade your sword. The Kokiri sowrd can be upgraded to the Razor Sword. This sword can only be used 100 times before going back to the Kokiri Sword. The best time to do this is after you have completed Snowhead Temple. You can upgrade the sword once more to a permanent sword called The Gilded Sword. This will be explained later. Go to Goron Village. You will find the owl on the post next to the chasm. You will need to cross the chasm. Watch where the feathers land. Each feather lands on a hidden block. Once inside the cave, you will need to open the CHest. You now have the Lens of Truth. Defeat the hidden enemy, then leave. Cross the chasm using the Lens of Truth. This time you will see a ghost on the way back. When you are over to land again, talk to the ghost. Follow Darmani (the ghost) to his tomb. Once you are up there in the tomb with him, play the Song of Healing. You now have the Goron Mask. Push Darmani's grave back. You now have access to Spring Water, which you will need to free the Elder Goron. After putting the Spring Water in a Bottle, then go to the Twin Islands, and walk on the ice. Hit the snow boulders to the north end of the ice, and you will see the frozen Elder Goron. Use the Spring Water to unfreeze him. He will give teach you Goron's Lullaby. Go to Goron Village, and enter the Goron house. Play Goron's Lullaby to the Elder Gorons son to put him to sleep. You will now need to go to Snowhead Temple. At the first part of Snowhead Temple, you need to crouch into a little ball, and start rolling until you make it to the next section. Try not to fall off, because if you do then you will need to repeat this step. When you get to the blizzard section, there is only one thing that stands in your way. Play the Goron's Lullaby, and a Giant Goron will fall asleep. Roll on up until you see the Wolfos. Once they are defeated, then go left, and start to go to the top of Snowhead Temple. Once at the top, you can now enter inside. -------------------- 2.6 Snowhead Temple -------------------- Step 1: Room 1: After pushing the block with the Goron Mask, defeat the Wolfos with a big punch, or use your sword. Go to the right, and enter room 3. Step 2: Room 3: Some freezards are blowing icy wind onto the wooden plank. Put on the Goron Mask and roll full speed to the other side. After breaking the crate, stop, and take off the Goron Mask. There is a Fairy underneath the platoform, break the bubble with an arrow, and put on the Fairy Mask to collect Fairy #1. Step 3: Room 11: Try not to draw attention to the Real Bombchu in this room. Open the Treasure chest in the corner of the room. There is another Fairy in the Northwest Corner of the room. Step 4: Room 3: Go back on the platform with the crate, and through the door on the right. Step 5: Room 2: Cross the central section to the exit on the west side of the room into room 5. Step 6: Room 5: Pull the two stones stacked on top of each other. This will reveal a secret passage to get a key. Push the blocks towards the west end of the room into the hole. A chest will appear in the northern end of the room. Worry about that later. Step 7: Room 1: Unlock the locked door. Step 8: Room 4: Cross the room to the west side. Watch out for the two Wolfos hiding behind blocks of ice. Defat them both, then get the Compass from the chest. If you have the Blast Mask then you can use it to blow up the cracks. I would rather recommend a bomb though. Go up into the next room. Step 9: Room 14: You will need to unlock the door at the East side of the room, from the map. You need to use your arrows to shatter the ice until Nail each snow boulder as a Goron with your fist. This should reveal a chest. Open the chest to recieve a small key. Use it to get into the next room. Step 10: Room 13: Eliminate all the White Boes that come down from the ceiling. Once they are defeated, Transfer into a Goron, and stomp on the yellow platform. If you have the Bunny Hood, then take off the Goron Mask, and put on the Bunny Hood to get over to blue switch. Turn back into the Goron, and hit the switch. This switch is timed so be careful. Turn back into Link, and move back to the Yellow switch. Turn back into a Goron and press on it to lower the switch blocking your exit. Remove the Goron Mask, and jump to the blue column; climb upover the doorway before the switch resets, once again blocking your way. Step 11: Room 10: Put on the Goron Mask again. Roll up and roll over to the other side. Once on the other side, slowly roll over on the ice until you are next to the door. Roll to the other opposite side from there. Step 12: Room 12: You will have your first encounter with a Mini Boss. This one is Wizrobe. He will teleport between 4 blue squares before firing an icy blast at you. Position yourself at the middle of the room, and take out the Hero's Bow. When the Wizrobe materializes hit him with your Bow. Once you defeat him, you will have the Fire Arrow. Step 13: Room 1: Coming back to here, go to Room 4 Step 14: Room 4: Use the Fire Arrows to melt all three blocks of ice. Hit the switch to get a chest to appear. Move the stone block to it, and open the chest to collect a Fairy. Step 15: Room 5: Use the two stacked stones as stepping stones to get to the other side. Remember the chest. You can get it now. It is another Fairy inside. Step 16: Room 1: Use the fire arrows to melt the ice covered doorway. Step 17: Room 2: Follow the outer wall to the West Side. Melt another glacier, and go through the door that the glacier was hiding. Step 18: Room 6: If you have the Bunny Hood, then it could come in handy here. You have to jump from platform to platform to go to the south end of this room. Before doing this, use your Fire Arrows to defeat all the Freezards. After defeating them, a chest will appear next to a ledge near an unlit torch. After getting the fairy out of the chest, use the Fire Arrows to light the three torches. This will unlock to door to room 2. Step 19: Room 2: Put on the Goron Mask, and transform into Goron Link. Do a Goron Press to trigger yellow switch. The pillar will ride up from the ground. Now, go back into room 6. Step 20: Room 6: Jump off the ledge into room 8. Step 21: Room 8: Make your way through the maze to the door at the south end of the cavern. Step 22: Room 7: When you approach the lava pits some Red Bubbles will lash out at you. YOu can try and defeat them, but we wouldn't recommend it. Turn into Goron Link to protect yourself from the lava (You might have already known that if you fell from trying Step 2). Hit the switch the reveal a chest in another lava pit. This will reveal a Fairy. Exit the room by climbing the stairs into room 2. Step 23: Room 2: Go into room 3. Step 24: Room 3: Use the Fire Arrows to defeat all the Freezards in the room. Melt the glacier using the Fire Arrows, then open the chest containing a small key inside. Jump down into room 9. Step 25: Room 9: If you have not done so, collect the fairies from the bubbles they are trapped in. Climb the ladder after doing so. Step 26: Room 3: Transfer into Goron Link if you have not done so already, and roll past the gap once again. Climb the stairs into room 11. Step 27: Room 11: Use the Fire Arrow to melt the Freezards to get a clear shot at the frozen eye. Standing on the block Hit the Eye with the Fire Arrow. This will unfreeze the eye, and raise the block you are on to run across the north, east, and west walls and go back into room 10. We suggest getting the Fairy first. Step 28: Room 10: Turn into Goron Link, and curl up into a ball. Roll accross to the other side. If you haven't already done so, then use the Fire Arrows to melt the glacier. Step 29: Room 15: Once again roll up into a ball, and roll over the snowbank to reach the locked door on the west side of the room. Unlock the door, and enter the room. Step 30: Room 16: Be prepared for the Eenos. They move under the surace of the snowcovered floor, and surface to attack. They will try to throw Snowballs for you. You will need to defeat them all. Hit them with a Goron Fist. The larger one in the center of the room will split into 3 parts once it is attacked. After you have done this part, use the Lens of Truth to reveal an alcove with another Fairy. Step 31: Room 18: You will need to fight two Dinofos in this room. Use your sword and shield to fend them off. Remember that after you hit them, retreat because they will let loose some fire from their mouths. Once they are defeated, you will get a Fairy from each of them. Use the exit on the east side of this room. Step 32: Room 17: Cross over to the other side of this room, and enter the next room. Step 33: Room 19: Once again you will fight another Mini-Boss. This one is once again Wizrobe. Defeat him the same as you did last. Hit him 6 times to defeat him. Exit to the Northwest Corner of the room to get the Boss Key. Step 34: Room 17: After destroying the two stalacities blocking the path, proceed though the exit on the west side. Step 35: Room 18: Once again, more Dinosfos will appear facing you. We suggest to fight them to improve your skills, but you don't have to. Go down the stairs to room 16. Step 36: Room 16: More Eenos have come as you pass through this room. We recommend defeating to try and recharge on health. Step 37: Room 15: Put on the Goron Mask, and curl around the snowbank to the stairwell to go back to room 10. Step 38: Room 10: The blue stones are different from the other stones incase you did not notice. As Goron Link, smash the two blocks to lower the column a bit. Once this is done, then go back up to room 15. Step 39: Room 15: While you can smash out the top layer from the North side, it is better to roll back to the West side, and take out 2 of them. Once they are gone, roll back to the South side. The platform is now level. Punch each snow boulder, to get some items. Climb the stairs to room 17. Step 40: Rooms 17, 10: This step is to get a Fairy. This may take awhile, but it might not. Use the Deku Flower, and the Lens of Truth, to glide down into room 10, Use the Lens of Truth first, then use the Flower. This wil be easier to find the remaining Fairy. Once you have retrieved the Fairy, then go back up to room 17. Step 41: Room 17: Curl up into a ball, and go across to the other side. This time, do not go into the Deku Flower, and enter the Bosses Liar. The boss is Goht, The Masked Mechanical Monster. You will need to use the Fire Arrow to unfreeze him. Defeat Goht using Goron Link, spinning to attack him. Watch out for the electricity that he will fire at you. Once you defeated Goht, you will get his Remains. Congradulations, you have now defeated Goht, and restored Spring to Snowhead. Here is how to get all 15 of them in this Temple, and how many are in each room. Go to the Bomb Shop in West Clock Town. Put on the Goron Mask, and buy a Powder Keg. Go to Romani Ranch, and place the Powder Keg next to the boulder. Once you see the person flee, do the same with him. Once it explodes, then turn back into Link, and enter Romani Ranch. Talk to Romani, the girl shooting at the balloon. She will ask for your help. Help Romani out. You will get to ride Epona again. Ride around with your Hero's Bow, and shoot the Balloons placed around the ranch. After this is done, you will learn Epona's Song. Wait until 2:00 a.m. Once the ghosts come out, they are mainly placed in front of the cow shed, but watch out for the ones behind the house. The dog will help point them out. You must keep on doing this until 6:00 a.m. Go talk to Romani's older sister, Cremia. She will thank you, and ask you to go back to Clock Town with her. Before doing that, go to the Gorman Brothers Racetrack, and race them. You will get the Garo Mask if you win. You have to pay each time you race them, so try to get this done in one attempt. Go back to Romani's Ranch, and if it is the 2nd day stil, speed up time to the 2nd night. Start riding with Cremia, and you will here her story. You will need to take out your Hero's Bow. Keep the thieves (Gorman Brothers) from getting to break all the bottles of Romani Milk. When you succeed, then you will get the Romani's Mask. To get the Bunny Hood, you need to go back to Romani's Ranch, and enter the Cucco shack. If you have the Bremen Mask, then put it on. Play the Ocarina and attract all the cucco chicks. Once you have done all this, they will turn into full fledged cuccos. Talk to the owner, and he will give you the Bunny Hood. -------------- 2.9 Great Bay -------------- After saving the game, go to Great Bay. To past the West Clock Town guard to see the beach in Termina Field. Play Epona's Song. After jumping over all the obsticles, then you can go to Great Bay. You will see a Zora in the ocean that looks dead. Go out to the water, and bring him back to sure. That is Mikau. He is a guitarist with the famous band, the Indigo-Go's. After hearing his story, play the Song of Healing, and you now have the Zora Mask. Go to Waterfall Rapids in the Zora Cape and get at least four Bottle that you needs in order to complete the next part. The best thing to do is complete the Anju, Kafei, and Madame Aroma sections in the Bomber's Notebook, and go to Waterfall Rapids, located in Zora Cape, and get the beaver's challenge completed in order to get the other two that you needs. You will need to go to the Pirates Fortress. Turn into the Zora, and go underwater to the North side of the Great Bay. Break all the boards with your head until you see a hole. Go into the hole, and you will enter the Pirates Fortress. --------------------- 2.10 Pirate Fortress --------------------- If you somehow managed to get the Stone Mask before coming here, then this first part will be a piece of cake, but if not then it is not needed anyway. It will be a good thing to have, because you will need it for here later on anyway. You will need a least four Empty Bottles before you can attempt this part. You should have at least three if you done it right, ther Milk Bar, Latte; the Goron Racetrack, and the Magic Hags' Potion Shop ones. For the last egg, you will need to get after dropping them off. Starting off, you will need to swim from one part of the lagoon to the other, and remain under the boats with the pirate guards (yes the same as the Gerudos from the Ocarina of Time). When you get a clear chance to, go under the water and stay there until you make it to the other side. With the Stone Mask, you can just go to the other side by using one of the boats. After crossing the lagoon, there will be a strip of rocks that have a pressure switch on them. Turn into Goron Link and use the pound in order to get the switch activated. This will open the gate that leads into the sewers that aer beneath the fortress. Put on the Zora Mask and sim to the grate, once again, be careful that you are not seen. Once you are in the underwater passage, just swim around the open gate, and use the swim/dash techniques that comes with the Zora Mask. Move the large blocks in order to open the way in the passage. Be careful of the spiked mines that are located within the next three rooms. They will be set to detonate once someone swims right by them. The best thing to do is to to either clear the path so that it will be safe to swim, or swim around them. Use the Boomerang Attack if you are going to clear them, and try to bang them into a wall, or into each other. You will also need to be careful of the red stream of water because that will suck you our of the fortress. Make sure that you walk under the first tunnel. You will need to take two tasks in the next room. For the first one, you will need to use Goron Link in order to clear the barrels to see the crystal switch that is located across the way. In order to heart piece, you will need to see the Heart Pieces section of this guide (section 3.1, Heart Piece 38). You can also use the Bunny Hood there if you have it. In order to exit the room, you will need to hit the Crystal switch using Zora Link's Boomerang Attack. Dive in the water and swim through the gates before they shut down. You will need to do a different technique in order to get past the red water, you will need to go over the tunnel, and avoid the mines while you are doing so. Once you step on the switch, it will cause the bars that are infront of the crystal switch to react for a limited time. Run over to the round gate right away after stepping on the switch, then use the Boomerang Attack to hit the Crystal Switch before the bars go back to normal. If you did it right, then you will be able to go to the next floor, and to the next room. Hug the walls while making your way over to the ladder in order to avoid getting hit by the mines that are located above you. Once you reach the ladder, climb it and once again, use the Boomerang Attack in order to get rid of the mines. You can also use the arrows in order to get rid of the mines as well, but it might be a waste of arrows. After getting rid of the mines, and hitting the Crystal Switch, you will now have access to another part of the Pitate Fortress. You will now be in the new part of the Pirate Fortress. If you have the STone Mask, then you will be able to sneak past all these guards with ease. If not, then you will need to sneak past them without getting caught, or you will have to start all over again. The elite guards, as well as Aveil, will be able to notive you even with the Stone Mask. Climb up the guard tower and into the room right after that. You might be able to knock the guards out with a Boomerang attack. Once you are in there, go into the barred window, and wait until after the conversation with Aveil and her guards is over. Use an arrow to shoot at the beehive, causing all of them to run out of the room. After that is done, then go down to the stairs that are below the bridge, and enter that room. Open the chest to get the Hookshot. You will need it in order to get the four Zora Eggs that are located in this dungeon. Use the Hookshot to get the first Zora Egg. Before you actually get the Zora Egg, you will notice that it is guarded by Shell Blades, and Desbrekos. Defeat the Desbrekos by using the Boomerang Attack as Zora Link, and the Shell Blades will not do much damage, so try not to worry about them. Get the Zora Egg by hopping in the tank, and using a Bottle to get the Zora Egg out of there. Do the same thing with each tank that you enter. The other three eggs will be located at the three other corners of the place outside. If you have the Stone Mask, then don't worry about any of them trying to catch you. Infact, take a picture of them, because you will need it later on. Try to start by going into whatever corner you desire. You will need to go through all of them in order to get all four Zora Eggs in here. Like Aveil, there are three other guard who will be able to see where you are located to, and sense where you are to. Make sure that you have the Guilded Sword, because that will be better for use then the Kokiri Sword, and the Razor Sword will not be able to help much neither. To defeat the Elite Pirates that attack you, you will need to strike when you get an opening. Keep in mind that they will do a lot of damage to you. After defeating all three (one in each section where the Zora Eggs are located), then use the same earlier strategy that you used to get the first egg to get the other three. ------------------ 2.11 Pinnacle Rock ------------------ After getting the four Eggs from the Pirate Fortress, drop them off in the Marine Research Lab and accomplish something else before going to Pinnacle Rock. You will need to get a picture of a Pirate, and show it to the fisherman that is in the fisherman's hut in order to get the Seahorse. In order to get the Seahorse, go next to it and examine it. The fisherman will trade it for a picture of a pirate. This is wear the Stone Mask comes in handy. If you have it before going to the Pirate Fortress, then take a picture of one of them right up close, and after examining the Seahorse, then trade the picture for the Seahorse. Once that is done, go to Pinnacle Rock. Once you are inside Pinnacle Rock, sink straight to the bottom of the ocean. The only way to make it to the bottom of Pinnacle Rock, you will need to follow the arrow signs in order to get past the maze. Not doing so will make you go back to the start again. Make sure that you set the camera angle up to make it easier to go through the maze. Here is the order that you will need to go in from the first sign: Right, Left, Left, then to a distant one, ignoring some true directions of three signs (right, right, and left). In the well of Pinnacle Rock will be eight caves that host some Deep Pythons. You can get rid of them using the Barrier Attack that Zora Link has, and the bottom ones can be taken care of with the Boomerang Attack. When you go to use the Barrier Attack, make sure that you use it sparingly to avoid losing all your magic meter. Some Python Caves will hold the Magic Meter Jars, for your convience. After getting all the Zora Eggs that remain (as well as the rest of the prizes), go back to the Marine Research Lab. After bringing the eggs together, they will hatch, and you will be able to learn a new song, the New Wave Bossa Nova. -------------- 2.12 Zora Cape -------------- Zora Cape will be located through a cave that is on the southern wall of the Great Bay Coast. Not only is it home to the Zoras, but a variety of enemy life as well. Like Likes are in the area as well as Skullfish. Make sure that you use the Barrier Attack that Zora Link has. This will eliminate the Skullfish with ease. The Boomerang Attack will get rid of the Like Likes when they are out of range. If you would like to have some fun, then there is a game that you can play here. The objective is to try to get rid of the pots with a single blow. Powder Kegs, or a perfectly planned Boomerang shot will take them out. Doing this will get you 90 Rupees. Near the Waterfall's basin will that is located on the south end of Zora Cape. There will be several ledges that form a path up to the top of the waterfall, but it will require the Hookshot. Luckily, you got it in the Pirate Fortress. Latch onto the trunks of the palm trees that grow on the ledges in order to get up the path. There are some cleverly-placed chests around here as well. Once you reach the top of the ledge, then you will be able to enter Waterfall Rapids. This is the home to the Beaver Brothers, and their obsticle course. They will let you know that they have run out of both challengers and prizes. You will need to race both brothers, and try to beat them. Winning will get you an Empty Bottle, and you will need to do this within 2:00, while getting past 20 rings for the first beaver and 25 for the second. The next time you try this, you will need to complete the challenge in 1:50, and the third time it well be 1:40. The prize for the second one is a Heart Piece, while the prize for the third time is 50 Rupees. After your fun, go to Zora Hall. -------------- 2.13 Zora Hall -------------- Zora Hall, the home of the Zora obviously, is where you need to be next. Make sure that you go around and collect all the Heart Pieces that are here before you go into the Great Bay Temple. Do the sound check up on the stage to help out the crew there, and they will be happy that you did. After exploring Zora Hall, and getting a few items that is needed, go out to see Lulu. Lulu will be outside of Zora Hall, right next to an island. You can tell how sad she is because of the missing eggs (little does she know you found them). Play the New Wave Bossa Nova that Lulu's eggs have taught you in order tro not only make her happy, but to get the island to rise, turning it into a turtle. Use the Hookshot to hop on it to go to Great Bay Temple. --------------------- 2.14 Great Bay Temple --------------------- Step 1: Room 1: Put on the Goron Mask, and use Goron Punch in order to destroy the barrels, and get extra items that you may need for this temple. Also, like the four torches in this room to get the first Stray Fairy. Step 2: Room 2: This room can be considered the control center for all of the Great Bay Temple. The direction of the water flow will be changed here, and in order to do it, you will need to use Zora Link and swim to the yellow green valve that is located in the northeast corner of the room. Sink to the knob and start to push it in a counterclockwise direction. Doing this will cause a jet to turn on, which will cause water to go up that you can use in order to get to the next platform that is along the east wall. Read the Stray Fairy chart in order to get all the fairies in this room. Step 3: Room 3: Room three will contain a giant turbine that will create the currents that go through the pipes which you need to enter in order to explore the rest of the Great Bay Temple. This room will be a key room in this dungeon, so you will be here a lot. There are two layers of pipes that are under the water. The top layer will contain two tubes which area marked in red and green pipes. Only one opening can be entered right now, but the other one can be entered shortly after. There are more tubes located at the bottom of the room, with one path marked by the red pipe, and the other marked by the green pipe. After getting the Fairy (see the Stray Fairy table at the bottom of this temple after the boss) go into the red and green opening pipes in the southwest corner of the room, or enter the red pipe area at the bottom of the room. Step 4: Room 4: As you surface in room 4, you will need to be careful of the Skullfish that are in these waters here. Swim straight to the lowest platform and use the Hookshot in order to grapple to the chest that is located on the left (or west) side of the room. This is where the Dungeon Map is located. Step 5: Room 5: The tunnel will take you to a narrow room which is filled with some Bio Deku Babas. These are easy to defeat, but are also the most dangerous of the entire Deku Baba species. Most of them will be suspended from a lily pad, while others will be roaming freely. Defeat the ones that are roaming freely first, then take on the attached ones next. When taking the Bio Deku Babas, make sure that you attack the body, because attacking the stem will only leave you for attack. After all the Bio Deku Babas are defeated in this room, go to the chest in order to get Stray Fairy 7. Step 6: Room 6: Take out the real Bomchu that is located in the alcove that contains the chest with your Fairy Bow. After that, put on the Zora Mask, and defeat the Bio Deku Baba that is on the lily pad, and the Dixiehand, then et the Small Key that is in the chest. Swim back up to the surface, and grab the chest in order to get the Compass. Step 7: Room 7: After you get Stray Fairy 8, hop onto the conduit that is on the otherside, and ride it to Room 3. Sink straight to the bottom and go into the red tube area. You will be in Room 7. Swim to the surface, and walk up the red pipe straight to the locked door. Enter the next room. Step 8: Room 8: In Room 8, make sure that you get prepared to face the Great Bay Temple's first mini-boss. This is named Wart. Use this time to stock up on Arrows, as well as Magic Potions. The Green and Yellow ChuChus will automatically regenerate, and will automatically give you what you need for both Magic Potions and Arrows. Once you are ready enter Room 9. Step 9: Room 9: Prepare to face Wart. Wart is a giant eye that will live on the ceiling of the Great Bay Temple, in Room 9 anyway. In oder to damage Wart, you will need to remove the Bubbles that surround it. Turn into Deku Link, and start using the Spin attack without using the Z targeting. Once the area has been cleared, then you should be able to shoot Wart with an Arrow. Target and fire at the eye. After three hits, Wart wil shake off the remaining Bubbles that surround him at that point. Defeat them, and try to use your sword in order to take out Wart. Victory over Wart will give you a well deserved Ice Arrows. Step 10: Room 7: Now that you have the Ice Arrows, you now have the ability to freeze any enemies and turn them into stepping stones. Do this with the Octoroks in this room, and then use the icebergs in order to jump over to the red valve. Open this valve and go back to Room 3. The result will be that with the conjunction of the valve in Room 10, you will now have a jet of water opened in Room 2, in the northwest corner. Step 11: Room 4: Take the Red-and-green tube straight back to Room 4, and use the Hookshot to over to the pltform with the chest on it. From this platform, start shooting Ice Arrows in the water in order to create a temporary path that will take you to the south end of this room, and into Room 10. Step 12: Room 10: Once you are in Room 10, shoot the Blue ChuChu with an Ice Arrow in order to turn him into Ice. Like the icebergs you created in the water, this is also a temp thing, so you will need to move quickly in order to get to the valve located at the end of this room. Move the ice cube straight to the red valve that is located at the end of the room, and use it to get to the red valve. Open it, and your result will be letting the water that is in Room 7 through. Step 13: Room 6: Go back to Room 4 from Room 10 and take on the Tube to Room 6. Once again, use the Ice Arrows in order to create another path of ice platforms which should take you right over to the icy corridor that is on the north side of the room. Be careful of the Real Bombchu, as well as the Bio Deku Baba. Once you reach the ice stalagmites, chop them down with your sword and use a Fire Arrow in order to melt the door that will take you to Room 11. Go inside and get ready to fight. Step 14: Room 11: This fight will put you against not only another Gekko, but a bunch of Mad Jellies that are protecting the Gekko. In order to defeat the Gekko, you will need to have both the Bunny Hood on, and use the Ice Arrows on the Gekko. The Gekko's attack strategy is to have the Mad Jellies surround him and jump up to the ceiling. If you are able to freeze the lump of Jelly before it starts to fall back down to the ground, then it will shatter on impact, giving you a small time to hit the Gekko. If you don't get the shot off in time, then there is a chance that you will get sucked into the Jelly, and taken serious damage by the Gekko. After defeating the Gekko, the frog will appear from the Gekko you destroyed, and you will have access to the Boss Key. Make sure that you wear the Don Gero's Mask to talk to the frog. Step 15: Room 3: After getting the Boss Key, go back to Room 3, and make your way over to the gears and to the entrance to Room 12. Use the Ice Arrows in order to freeze the water that is covering the ladder, then climb to the door. Step 16: Room 12: Once you are in Room 12, Hookshot yourself to the barrels that are on the left platform. You can also use the Ice Arrows in order to create a path that leads to the green valve, then openthat valve and go back to yellow platform that has the barrels on it. Stray Fairy 9 is on the grating that is above you (use the Stray Fairy Chart to get this Fairy). Step 17: Room 2: Go back to Room 2 and change the turbines direction. You are getting closer to the Boss Room. After you enter Rom 2 from Room 3, look at the Red Pipes. There is a Hookshot point that is located over your head. Use it to go over the jet of water that is flowing from the Red Pipes. Ride that water up to the valve, and then twist that valve. The result is that a jet of water will turn on from the red pipe that is in the middle of the room and beneath the gear. Next, simply jump in the water and swim over to the yellow valve. Turn that valve off, and the yellow jet of water will stop, and the turbine will move in a clockwise direction. You can now enter the rest of this temple. Step 18: Room 13: Go back to Room 3, then swim through the other green-and-red tube to reach Room 13. Located in here, will be two extremely tough Stray Fairies to collect. Start off by swiming to the northwest corner of the room, and onto the moving platform. Ride that platform up to the shaft of the gear, then jump to it. Try to balance on the gear shaft until you can get on the horizontal gear shaft. After jumping to the horizontal gear shaft, look towards the southwest corner of the room to find a hidden alcove. Use the Hookshot either on the torch or chest to reach over and get the 10th Stray Fairy. In order to get Stray Fairy 11, you will need to go back to the northwest corner and take out the Ice Arrows once you are back on the vertical platform. Aim an Ice Arrow at the stream of water that is falling from the ceiling and shootshoot it directly after the platform reaches the top next to the gear shaft. Jump to the gear shaft, and walk right over to the blades. walk up one of the blades while looking north, then use the Hookshot to reach the chest for the 11th Stray Fairy. Step 19: Room 14: Once you enter Room 14, look into the water, and under the see-saw. There is a hidden room there, which contains Stray Fairy 12. Swim un there and break the barrel in order to get that Fairy. Back in Room 14, use Fire and Ice Arrows in order to manipulate the see-saws in order to get up to the green valve. Turn on that valve, then walk along on the green pipe and go into another hidden room which is behind the golden grating. Hookshot to the chest, and you will be able to get Stray Fairy 13. Step 20: Room 15: The Door from Room 14 will overlook Room 4. Swim through the tube that is in the northwest corner, and go back to Room 3.Sink to the bottom of this room, and enter the green tube. This is the final room (Room 15) of this Temple before the boss. The final two Fairies are in this room. Stray Fairy 14 is in an outtake, and is also ina a Bubble. Stray Fairy 15 is under a valve platform in Room 15. Try to pierce the bubble with an arrow, then put on the Great Fairy Mask in order to collect that Fairy. For Fairy 14, try to get that one on your way back to room 3. Before you go to take on the boss, and you have all 15 Fairies, make sure that you leave this Temple, and go to the Great Fairy Fountain in Zora Cape. After getting the defense for your Heart Containers, go back into Room 15, and turn on that valve. This will take you to the Boss Room. Enter the Boss Room. The boss is Gyorg, and this fish is one of the hardest bosses in the game, in order to defeat it, you will need to be in the water, and will need to use the Boomerang Attack as Zora Link. This will not only stun it, but will also take damage on it as well, and you will be able to use your Barrier Attack while it is stunned. The baby fish that are around can be disposed of using the Barrier Attack as well. As regular Link, you can use the Arrows, although Gyorg will try to knock you off the podium and will try to eat you. After hitting with an arrow, hit Gyorg with another one to get more damage on him. Congradulations, you have defeated Gyorg, and have collected Gyorg's Remains Mask. Three down, one to go. Here is how to get all 15 of them in this Temple, and how many are in each room. Room Fairies How To get The Fairy 1 1 1.) Light the four torches in this room. 2 2 2.) Under the platform as soon as you enter the room. 3.) Defeat the Giant Skulltula. 3 2 4.) In the Barrel that is on the west platform of the room. 5.) In a jug that is located at the bottom of the well. In order to get it you will need to break the jar opened, and swim over to it. You may need to use the Great Fairy Mask if you cannot get at it. 4 1 6.) Break the jugs that are across the room, and use the Great Fairy Mask. 5 1 7.) After defeating the Bio Deku Babas, use the lily pads to get to the chest. 6 1 8.) Shoot either the Bubble, or the Dixiehands, then put on the Great Fairy Mask. 7 0 8 0 9 0 10 0 11 0 12 1 9.) This one is in a bubble that is in the outtake tube. 15.) Beneath the Valve Platform. You will need to use an arrow to break open the bubble, then put on the Great Fairy Mask. ---------- 2.15 Ikana ---------- This first thing you will need here before you can go into Ikana is the Garo Mask. If you don't have this mask, then go into the Mask section of this guide, and use that in order to get it. You will need to Race the Gorman Brothers in order to get it, and beat them as well. Before entering Ikana Canyon, you will need to get the Stone Mask. This is a very important Mask, and it ranks up there with the transformation masks. This Mask makes you immobilized to not only enemies, but the pirates as well. Make sure that you have a Red Potion when getting this mask. Look for the circle of stones after having Epona help you jump over the second set of fences. Use the Lens of Truth to spot the soldier (Shiro) that is sitting in the middle of the circle of stones. Go over to him and give him the Red Potion. In return, Shiro will give you the Stone Mask. After getting the Stone Mask, put on the Garo Mask, and talk to the Garo that is monitoring the pass. That Garo will make a tree for you to get access to Ikana Canyon. Use the Hookshot to get up there, then go into Ikana Graveyard. -------------------- 2.16 Ikana Graveyard -------------------- The first thing you will need to get here is the Captain's Hat. This is no easy thing to get, because to get it, you will need to defeat Skull Keeta, the guardian of the Captain's Hat. With that being said, you also need to wake him up. That is an easy task to do. Before waking him up, make sure that you have out Fire Arrows (for a good laugh when you hit Skull Keeta with them), and the Bunny Hood, for speed and catching up to the giant skeleton. When you are ready, play the Sonata of Awakening right in front of Skull Keeta to wake him up. Then the battle begins. Use Z Targeting and make sure that you also use Arrows (like I mentioned, Fire Arrows make it look funnier), and be careful of the Stalchildren that Skull Keeta sends towards you. While you are taking care of them, he can be picking Arrows out of his bones. Skull Keeta will also activate flame gates in order to slow you down. Eliminating two Stalchilren will take care of the flame gates. The main thing to do is to keep Skull Keeta occupied until so that you can get to him and start hitting him with your sword. In order to get the true fight started, just strike Skull Keeta with your sword. Keep doing that until Skull Keeta concedes the battle. Just be careful of the Hip-Drop that Skull Keeta does. Other then that attack, Skull Keeta is not a threat. The hard part if you are wondering would be getting to Skull Keeta with the Stalchildren attacking you. After defeating Skull Keeta, you will get the Captain's Hat, and will be able to continue on in Ikana Graveyard. With the Captain's Hat, the Stalchildren will think that you are one of them, only the undead in command. The Stalchildren will be circling a different grave each night, basically giving a clue to where the next treasure is located to. Talk to one of them, and once they ask for instructions, pick the one that opens the grave. If you are not in the first night, then save and go back to the first night. After getting grave one opened on the first night, enter it to enter a short set of chambers that will take you to a familiar place for those that Played Ocarina of Time. In the first chamber, defeat the Keese and get the 50 Rupees that are in the chest. In order to go into the next chamber, you will need to light all three torches that are in this room using the Fire Arrows. When you are in the second chamber, you will need to take on an Iron Knuckle. Attack it to get the battle started, then, you can defeat it using one of two ways. Ether dodge the attack it does, and hit it with your sword. It will take about six hits using your sword to defeat the Iron Knuckle, so try to hit it in the back after it swings. If possible, try to get it to get it's axe into a wall because then it will make this battle easier. After the battle is over, Flat, the Royal Composer's spirit will appear and will teach you the Song of Storms. This song will summon thunderstorms out of nowhere, and will make it much easier to defeat the Iron Knuckles. Magic Beans can also grow using this song, and it will get rid of the Blue Bubbles' curse. Flat also gave you the song to take out his brother, Sharp. When you are in the second night, the Stalchildren will open the next grave for you on your request. The Lens of Truth will be needed here, and you will need it in a big way. From the entrance, look around for a hidden passageway that is in the wall. It should be across from the entrance. When you are in the next chamber, use the Lens of Truth in order to uncover a hidden path, and cross the gap in order to find the locations of both Keese and Giant Skulltulas. Use a Bomb to open a hole in the cracked wall, and go into the final chamber, where another Iron Knuckle will await you. Hit it to start the battle, but this time use the Song of Storms in order to rust the Iron Knuckle. Victory will give you a Heart Piece. The Final night's grave will send you into a large room with Dampe going around minding his own business. Lead him around to into the six patches of dirt, and allow him to dig for any buried treasure. Dampe has an extremly short attention span, and he also moves slowly. Before you use Dampe's assistance, take out the WallMasters first, making it easier to move. The thing that you are looking for is three blue beams of light. One is located on the main floor, while the other two are located on the upper level. Z target Dampe and guide him around the room. You will be doing this backwards to make sure that you know where the blue rays of light are located to. In order to guide Dampe to the upper level, he needs to be on the platforms that are on the other side of the room. Dampe can only be on the platforms when they go up, so make sure that you run up the stairs and Z target him once again when you make it up there. After getting all three blue lights dug up, a Big Poe will appear. Dampe will also take off due to his biggest fear of ghosts, and will hie under the sheets in the bed. You will need to defeat the Big Poe in order to get the treasure. Basically, dodge it's attacks and hit it with your sword. After defeating this Big Poe, you will get another Empty Bottle. All that work was not worth an Empty Bottle, but at least you got something out of it. It is time to go to Ikana Canyon. ----------------- 2.17 Ikana Canyon ----------------- Now it is time to enter the next area of Ikana, Ikana Canyon. You can use the Garo Mask to fight other Garo's and get secrets out of them. Each one has a different secret, so you might want to take them all on. Make sure that you always Z target them when you are taking them on. Use the Octoroks as an iceberg when you fire Ice Arrows at them. This will make it easier to get over to the bridge that is on the other side. Look on the ledges that are around the cliff, and use the Hookshot on the trees to get to them. A little town will be up at the top. Hit the Owl statue with youe sword, so that you do not need to go through with that climb any more. You will need to restore the flowing water, so that the music box can play music, and the Gibdos can disappear. Follow the dried up river bed straight into the cave. Sharp, Flat's brother will capture you, and cause damage until you can heal him with the Song of Storms. You have now healed Sharp, and the water can start running once again. After the Gibdos are gone, you will be able to try to gain access to the music box. Only one problem is stopping you right now. There is a little girl that named Pamela that is playing outside the music box. If she sees you, then she will run back in and lock the door, making it hard to get in. The only chance you have is to wait until she is out of site, and then enter the house. If she does see you and locks the door, then detonate a Bomb right in front of the door. She will exit the house and run to the well, giving you the opportunity to sneak into the house. Once inside, go to the basement and open the door there. You will see her father, who has been partcially turned into a Gibdo. Use the Song of Healing on him to heal him, and get the Gibdo Mask. At the south end of the River will be the final Akindo Nut that is located across from the entrance to Sakon's hideout. This Akindo Nut will sell Blue Potions for 100 Rupees. You will also be able to get them at the Magic Hag's Potion Shop, depending on if Kotake has the right ingredients. This one will look at relocation as well, so make sure that you have the Ocean Title Deed. You will not only get the use of that flower, but you will also get the use of the flower, but you will also get 200 Rupees as well. There is also a ledge that is across the river, where you can get another Heart Piece. Remember that there is a part in this game, if you are helping out both Anju, and Kafei, where you will need to infiltrate Sakon's hideout. The hideout, as mentioned in the paragraph above, is located in Ikana, across from the final Akindo Nut. You will need to do this part in order to get the Couple's Mask, so it is a must in order to get it (keep in mind that you will need all 23 masks before going on the moon, and the 24th one will be given to you on the moon). Join up with Kafei after getting the message of where he went to from the Curiosity Shop owner between 6-7 p.m. during the Final Night. You can either use the Stone Mask, or hide behind the rocks with Kafei, while Sakon makes his way out of his hideout. Once you are inside, you will have to use both Kafei and Link within a time limit. If you are fast at it, then it should not take you long at all to complete this part. Make sure that Kafei takes the bottom section while Link takes the top. The first Room: Kafei must push one of the blocks onto the pressure switch in order to let Link in the other side of the room. Link must take out the single Deku Baba. The Second Room: Have Kafei move aound the room to the pressure switch that is located near the exit. Link will need to take on two more Deku Babas. The Third Room: Kafei will need to push blocks onto both the green and yellow switches. This is tricky, but can be done. Link, on the other side, will need to take out a Wolfos in order to make it into the final room. Once you are in the final room, you will need to press the pressure switches for both Link and Kafei. This will stop the conveyor belt, and the Sun Mask will be in Kafei's grasp once again. Once Kafei has the Sun Mask, go back to the hotel room with Anju and wait for Kafei's arrival. The end result will be the Couple's Mask, which you will be able to use this mask to help out the meeting in City Hall, and have Mayor Detour relax for a change. After all this is over, go to the Bottom of the Well. --------------------- 2.18 Beneath the Well --------------------- Before you actually entering the Bottom of the Well, you will need to get two items. The first one is a Blue Potion, and the second one is five Magic Beans. You will also need 10 Bombs, 10 Deku Nuts, and 2-3 Empty Bottles. The items that you will need to use the Empty Bottles for are in this dungeon, and a full quiver of arrows, as well as a full Magic Meter will be needed. The majority of the time you are in this dungeon, you will need the Gibdo Mask. Once you are in the first room, give the gibdo that is on the right 5 Magic Beans, and the Gibdo that is north a Blue Potion, then enter the north door. The passageway will be blocked with spiked logs. Go to the room that is immediately left, and get both Spring Water, and Fish for the Gibdos that are ahead. In order to get past the spikes, you can either run under them, or use the Deku mask in order to fly over them. If you fly over them, make sure that you put on the Gibdo Mask once you are on the other side. Once you meet with the next two Gibdos, give the one that is on the left the fish, and the Spring Water can go to the north Gibdo. Go through the north door, and then go into the left one to get some Bugs. If you need any more Bombs, then go to the room that is opposite that one. Give both of the next Gibdos the two bottles of Bugs that you just filled up. Behind the north door will be a Fairy Fountain, where you can replenish your health. Try to get a Fairy for your own purpose as well. The door that to the right will be a chest with 50 Rupees in it. Use the Lens of Truth to get it. Go back to the room where you had to give the Gibdo the fish. Once you are inside there, get another fish, and use the bow to turn off the eye that is shooting out fire. Take care of the Dixiehand with Zora Link's Boomerang Attack, then fill up another bottle with some Hot Springs Water. Go back to where you first started, only this time, go through the door that is on the right. This door was guarded by the Magic Beans Gibdo. Before the Hot Springs cools off, give the north Gibdo some Fish. Enter that room and quickly get 10 Deku Nuts if you don't have them. Then go back and give the Gibdo the 10 Deku Nuts, and enter the next room to immediately give the next Gibdo the Hot Springs. After giving the Gibdo the Hot Springs, go into that room and get some Milk off the cow by playing Epona's Song. Give the Gibdo that is located to the north 10 Bombs. In the next room, defeat the Big Poe that is inside, and capture it in a bottle. Go back into the room where you had to give the Gibdo the Fish and other other one the 10 Deku Nuts. Go into the north door, and if you haven't done so, then give the Gibdo some Fish. Go straight down the hall, and make a left. Give the Gibdo some Bugs, and light all the torches and open the chest to get 50 Rupees. The Lens of Truth will reveal that there is a Giant Skulltula in this room after getting that chest as well. Defeat it and move back into the previous room. Give the next Gibdo the Big Poe essence. Go into that room, and dodge the Wallmaster, and defeat it while you are doing so. Carefully make your way through the spiked logs. Try to get them figured out before you go through them. If you get hit, then it it minimal damage taken off. Once you reach the last Gibdo the milk, and go into that room. From the room you just entered, go into the next room, and light all four torches using Fire Arrows. This will make another chest appear. Open it to get the Mirror Shield. This will take the place of the Hero's Shield. In order to exit the well, you will need to use your newly aquired Mirror Shield, and reflect the sunlight at the sunswitch. This will cause the ladder to appear. In order to get rid of the blue block that is in the way, you will need to reflect more sunlight off of it. This will disappear, and you will be able to exit the well. You will now be on the castle ground of Ikana. ---------------------------- 2.19 Ancient Castle of Ikana ---------------------------- Now that you have the Mirror Shield, you can now reveal a secret entrance to the Ancient Castle of Ikana, and you will not need to travel under the well anymore. Simply look for a small opening that is in the rocks and next to the sealed gates, and simply walk inside. The crystal switch will flood the room with some light so that you are now able to reflect light onto the sun block using the Mirror Shield. Before entering the castle, you will need to get a few items. The castle, like everywhere else in Ikana, will be filled with ReDeads. They are the same as Gibdos, only not mummified. Wearing either the Gibdo Mask, or the Captain's Hat will be a big help. You will also need a Powder Keg. You will need to blow up a specific area with this, when you are about halfway through the castle, you will not need to stop exploring and go back to Clock Town. Make sure that you are prepared. When you are inside the castle's entrance hallway, there will be a couple of pillars that have ice on them. The ice pillars have Eye Switches in them, which will get rid of the bars that surround the doors. Get them borh triggered with Fire Arrows and go into the left door. In the next room, there is a crystal switch that will control the vibrantly glowing floor that will be ahead of you. The floor is extremely hot, therefore, crossing it will not be a good option to do. Instead, you will need to use Deku Link for this one, and trigger the crystal switch. The hot floor will rise up, giving you a chance to go through it with the help of the Deku Flowers. Run to a Deku Flower, and hide in it, because once the floor comes back down, you will be safe in the flower. You can also rise up, and cause the tiles to be up once again. This will impact the height of your jump, so after jumping, immediately stop the jump and go back into the Deku Flower and get a launch of normal height. Fly to the top of the column, and take off the Deku Mask. Hit the switch and enter the next room. When you are in the next room, you will need to once again use the Deku Flower in order to fly over to the floor switch that is located to the left of the door. Step on it with Normal Link, and use the Lens of Truth in order to reveal a hidden step that is located in front of you. When you see Giant Skulltulas, take them out with your Bow, while you need to jump to the platform that is along the left side of the room until you have made it to the door. Quickly run past the Blue Bubbles that are in the hallway, and go up the stairs to the balcony. Before you can even attempt to get the Heart Piece that is on the right pillars, hit another switch to trigger it and set things up on the right wing. Climb on top of the balcony and then walk around the fencing area to the front of the castle. Jump to the awning, and then use the Deku Flower that is there in order to launch to the pillar that is to the left with the floor switch. Triggering that switch will open up the ceiling in the east wing, and sunlight will flood the room. This is very important to do because you will not get past the first room in the east wing without doing this. Jump over to the pillar that is on the opposite side of the balcony, and go back to the balcony, then go and get the Heart Piece. Once you are done that, go to the east wing. The east wing, like the west wing, will get you to do a specific amount of tasks in order to get to the balcony and perform the task there. You will need to defeat the monsters that are on this side before you can advance to the next section. Make sure that you have the Captain's Hat on, because it will be a big help, especially where the Re-dead population is big here. In the first room, make sure that you eliminate the Floormaster, and dodge the attack when they turn green. Attack when it is the red color, and after it is defeated, eliminate the small hands that the Floormaster divides into. Defeat them, or they will attack you and turn into Floormasters. Use the Mirror shield in order to reflect the incoming light on the sun block, and do not attack the Re-dead that are in the next passage. Because you got the Captain's Hat on, you they will ignore you, and that is a good thing. The next room will put you in a fight against a Wizzrobe. This one shoots out fire, and will follow the same pattern as the ones in Snowhead Temple. Defeat it like them. Go past the Re-dead that are in the hallway, then take the stairs to the balcony. Walk around to the front of the castle, then take a look at the cracked plaster. This is where you will need a Powder Keg. Turn into Goron Link and use the Powder Keg on that cracked plaster. Once the ceiling is destroyed, then hop down into the hole to return back into the main entrance yet again. This time, use your Mirror Shield in order to reflect the light that you sent into the ceiling onto the sun block. This will get you access to the throne room. Now it is time for a fight. You will need to take on theKing of Ikana, and his two servants, all skeletals as well. The King will shut the curtains, and will then call out his henchmen. The Mirror Shield will be a big key in this battle, but before you can use it, you will need to remove the curtains. Before removing the draps, try to hit the two servants with your sword so that you can easily take the time you need to open them. Once they are both stunned, use Fire Arrows to not only get rid of the curtains, but to shock the King of Ikana as well. After getting the first window uncovered, stand in the sunlight while you aim for the second one, so that when dumb and dumber get up from being stunned, then you can be protected against their weakness. The two servants will only use sword attacks. They are also quick to protect themselves, so you will need to defeat them by either attacking them with your sword first, then once they are stunned, use the Mirror Shield on them to eliminate them, or vice versa. You will see their bodies burn up in a blue blaze. After defeating the two henchmen, you will take on the King of Ikana himself. The King also has a sword, as well as a breath attack, and a double-team attack where his head pops off, and bounces all over the place, while the body still hunts you down. When this occurs, quickly run around and make sure that you do not get cornered. Defeat the King the same way as you do the two servants. After you have defeated both the King and his Servants, the King will return as a spirit, and will teach you Elergy of Emptiness. This song will create four shells. They are Link, Goron Link, Zora Link, and Deku Link (although Deku Link will not be needed at all, and is pointless to use). You will only need three shells, and for both Zora Link, and Goron Link, they are of Mikau, and Darmani. You can also remove a shell, and replace the shell to whereever you needs to put it. For example, if you place the Zora Shell in the wrong spot, you can go to the right spot. Your next destination is Stone Tower. -------------------- 2.20 The Stone Tower -------------------- There are three levels of the Stone Tower. The third level can be turned upsidedown, but it is not important until alittle later on. On each level of this tower, there are three blocks that can be moved in order to form a bridge. This is where the Elergy of Emptiness comes into play. You will need to keep a shell on the pressure switches until you reach another pressure switch, then as that character, you can move the shell to your current position. There are three switches on each floor. One will be for each of the three shells that you can use, just keep in mind that you cannot use the Deku Mask one. Make sure that you keep an eye to any traffic snarls as you see the blocks move from one section to another. Basically it is like a puzzle. On the first floor, you will need to press the second switch before you can press the first switch from the tower's entrance. If you do not do this, then you will be missing a block for when you are jumping between the blocks which is not a good thing. You will also need the Hookshot to get you going along the ways to the next floor, and the next crossing spot as well. There are Hookshot spots, as well as Scarecrow areas where you can get some help there. When you cross the second and the third bridges where you need to have blocks, there are other switches that are located on the opposite side as well. You might not need them, but they are there if you do. Ignore them while climbing. Once you are on the third floor, you will be greeted with a puzzle that can be solved in two ways. You can either trigger the back switches first, then do the front one, or alternately, hit the front switch first, and then go clockwise. After getting through that, hit the owl statue, and then save if you think it is needed. That way, you will start on Day 1, and there is more time for you. There are also jugs that are near the base of the statue in order to refill your Bombs, Arrows, and your Fairies. ----------------------- 2.21 Stone Tower Temple ----------------------- Step 1: Room 1: Take out your Bow as soon as you enter the Stone Tower Temple. There is a Real Bombchu that is across from the entrance, and there are also Dragonflies on both sides. Shoot them using your Bow, then shoot the Eye Switch, and Hookshot to the chest. Open it to get Fairy 1. Go into the room that is on the left. Step 2: Room 2: Put on the Stone Mask, because you will need it a lot in this Temple. Next, clear the room of the Real Bombchus, because they cannot see you, and it will make it easier, esspecially doing this with your Bow. This room will have three pressure switches that are normal, as well as a big pressure switch, and a wall that has a crack in it. Bomb the wall, then get the items that are in the crates. There are two boxes behind them. You will need to place one of them on a pressure switch, but it will need to be one of the three small ones. You can also place two of them, that way you will only need to transform into Goron Link and use the Elergy of Emptiness on the big switch. The Goron Shell is the only one that can actually be on that switch. It is up to you which shell goes on the other leftover switch. After all the switches are pressed, you can enter Room 3. Step 3: Room 3: Put on the Stone Mask, and take out the Dragonflies using your Bow. Next, Bomb the dirt covered square that is here. This will create a skylight to the room that is below you. You can either jump down into that room, or you can use the stairs that are to the north. Step 4: Room 4: Look up and to the right (above the two Armos Statues), and use the Hookshot to get into that little alcove. There is a chest there that contains the next Fairy. While back on the ground, use the Mirror Shield in order to reflect the sunlight on the Sun Block. Turn into Goron Link, then cross the lava over to the chest. Open it to get the Dungeon Map. Goron Punch the four Armos, one at a time, to get them activated, and then a second time to defeat them. After all four have been defeated, a chest will appear, with a Small Key inside. Step 5: Room 5: Go back to the Courtyard, and use the Small Key to open the door, to Room 5. You will be in the Pool Room. Dive in it using Zora Link, then swim under the bridge straight to the other side.Do a porpoise jump onto the deck, then get the Small Key that is in the small chest. Go through the passageway that is being guarded by the Dixiehand, and enter Room 6 Step 6: Room 6: This room will be known as the Water Room. Sink to the bottom and hit the pressure switch that is surrounded by spiked Mines. Use the Boomerang Attack in order to get rid of them. Step onto the switch, making a chest to appear upsidedown. Remember the location of the chest, because that is where the next Fairy is located. Step 7: Room 7: Climb onto the walkway that is in the middle of the room. This will be known as Room 7. Go north, and use Fire Arrows in order to hit the switch that is above the doorway. Another chest will appear in the ceiling, but this one will be behind you. You will need to wait until later to get this chest as well. In the meantime, the mirror that is in this room will have the ability to store light and discharge it. Use the Mirror Shield to charge up that shield for as long as you want (note that the longer you charge it the longer the light will stay there), then run over to it when you are ready and reflect that light onto the Sun Block. Get the Compass from the chest, then go north to the opposite door, where the chest that is on the ceiling is located. Use the Small Key to go into the next room. Step 8: Room 8: Make sure that you have the Stone Mask on in this room, because you are going to need it. There are Black Boes here, as well as Nejiron, and they will not bug you while you have the Stone Mask on. For this room, you will need to have a lot of patience, and you will also need to be accurate on. Without the Stone Mask, the Black Boes will not allow you to have that. Use Goron Link to get rid of any curcular stones that are blocking the sunlight from getting in. Put on the Stone Mask, and then use the Mirror Shield to charge the right mirror for about a minute. Use the light that this mirror is discharging on the Sun Block that is located on the east side of the room. The end of that corridor will be Fairy 3. Your next objective will be to get rid of the Sun Block that is in the northern part of the using two mirrors. Charge the first on that is on your left for as long as needed (more then a minute) and rush over to direct the light into the opposite mirror. Charge that one for as long as you want as well, and rush over to the next bit of light. Use that light to remove the Sun Block that is in the way. After removing that block, use the Mirror Shield back at the entrance to remove the sun marks that are on the wall. Hitting the right one will give you a chest with Fairy 4 in it. Step 9: Room 9: In order to get the Fairies that are in this room, you will need to master the Goron art of rolling, as well as the Deku climbing techniques. The Goron switch is in the lava, and can be hit using the Goron Smash attack. The flames that surround the switch on the opposite side of the room will be gone, and the only way to get through this room is by rolling in the lava. Speed and precise steering will be needed here, and it will need to be perfect. Walking or rolling down the track a few times will help here, so you can get the feel of what is needed to be done. You can also run through the first tight area before you start to roll. Hitting that switch will cause the flames that surrounf a chest that in on a ledge to be gone. Your next step will be to get to that ledge, and to the next room. Change into Deku Link, and glide there. You will need to use the air vents in order to boost and revitalize the glide. Across from the first vent will be a ledge that will have Fairy number 5 on it. That will be the one with the Rupees. After making it there, and getting the Rupees, open the chest to get Fairy 5. From that ledge, go back and make your way to the other chest that will have Fairy number 6 on it. After getting that Fairy, go into the next room. Step 10: Room 10: When you wore the Garo's Mask in Ikana Canyon, you had to fight the Garo's and defeat them. The mini-boss here is the Garo Boss. Defeating this Garo will be worth the prize. You will need to dodge his attacks, and hit him while he looks for you. Keep in mind that this boss is bigger, and faster then normal Garo's. Once the Garo is coming towards you, try stepping out of the way. He will be distracted, and you will be able to hit him with your sword. You can also do a combo attack with Ice Arrows, then use your Sword. Two to four hits should defeat this boss. Be careful after the battle is over, because the Garo Boss will explode, and it will damage you. The item that you get in this battle will be the Light Arrows. Unlike in Ocarina of Time, these arrows will not be needed as much to defeat Majora's Mask (although they will be needed then). In the meantime, this will be an easier substitute to the Mirror Shield for light. Step 11: Rooms 11 & 12: In the next room, use the Hookshot in order to take the mask off the Hiploop, then use your sword to defeat it. Go down the hall and into Room 12. This room is just the bridge that is over Room 5. You will need to defeat the Eyegore here. Shoot an Arrow in the Eyegore's eye when it turns yellow during an attack. Four times will defeat it, and you will get a chest with Fairy 7 in it. Step 12: Room 1: Enter the door that is at the end of Room 12 to go back to Room 1. Jump off the shelf that is there to the room that is below, then look for a yellow Sun Mark. Shoot it using Light Arrows, then a chest will appear in the overhead arch. Step 13: Exit the Temple and go back to where the statues are to. Do not move them in any way. Remember what the Garo Boss mentioned where the "blood-stained" mark as located to. Pull out the Light Arrows and shoot the spider-shaped mark. This will flip the temple (and cause Link to fall as well, the good thing is that there is no damage done). Go back into the Stone Tower Temple. Now that the temple is flipped, you will need to know a few differences. The rooms that had the water in them as now emptied, and the rooms that had the Lava in it now has Lava dripping down. I will also mention that you can now fall off as well, so you will need to be careful of that. Step 14: Room 13: With new challenges now ahead of you, you can now explore the rest of the Stone Tower Temple. First, get the chest and Fairy 8. This will be ahead of you. Go into the left door into Room 14. Step 15: Rooms 14 & 15: Use the Light Arrows in order to get rid of the Sun Block, and put on the Deku Mask. Get ready to start gliding. In case you do not remember, the water that once filled these rooms is now disappeared because the temple has been flipped. There are air vents where the water went to, and this will help you get to the other side. The air vent on the left will take you to the top of the room, while the right one will take you to the second level in this room. The center one will keep you on this floor. Get Fairy 9 from the niche that is across the exit. You will need to use the Air Vent that is on the right to do this. Once you have enough air to make it to the opposite wall, hover slowly to the niche and get the chest that contains Fiary 9. Your next step to do is to fly over to the pressure switch that is halfway up the wall, and leave a shell on it in order to weigh it down. Next, fly over to the ledge that has the chest on it. It will not be surrounded by flames anymore. Fairy 10 will be in that one. Hop to the bridge that is below you, and go down the corridor that is to the north. Step on the switchto unveil a chest that is on the opposite side of the bridge, and contains a very important Small Key. Get it, then launch up to the ledge that is at the top of the room in the northeast corner using the left air vent. Before unlocking this door, shoot a Light Arrow at the Sun Mark. This will get you a chest you can get on the return trip. Step 16: Room 16: Use the Light Arrow to shoot the Spider Mark. This will flip this room over. Put on the Goron Mask, then cross over on the lava. Flip over the room once again and enter Room 17. Step 17: Room 17: You will need to move the block to the northeast corner of this room. There is a floor switch that is in that corner of the room. To do this, you will need to flip the room. Push the block to as far as you can, then flip the room over. The tiles that are on the floor are different, but the hallway is the same. You you needs to, reflip the room, and put the block on the switch. Once this is done, go into Room 18. Step 18: Room 18: The Wizrobe that is in this room will give you a repeat performance against another Wizrobe. Defeat this one like the others, but this time, dodge the lava while you are defeat the Wizrobe. Victory will give you Fairy 11. Step 19: Rooms 19 & 20: If you want to defeat the Poes that are in this room, then do so. They will disappear when you Z target them. Turn into Deku Link, then hop into the flower and launch up and across the room. On the south side of this room will be the entrance to Room 20. Launch over to there, and then get ready for a hard battle. There are Four Death Armos in Room 20. They guard a chest that contains a Small Key inside. Target them in the shields using Light Arrows. If you do it right, then the Armos will flip upside down, and they will try to dive on you. As it starts to fall, step out of the way. They will start to explode, so make sure you are a safe distance away. They will leave behind a Green Potion. Pick it up, because you will need to get your Magic Meter full, esspecially when taking on the Four Death Armos. In order to get the Small Key, you will need to make a shell on the pressure switch. Get the key from the chest once it appears. Step 20: Room 13: For now, make a right in Room 21 and go back to Room 13. You will return to Room 21 in a bit, but you will need to do one thing in Room 13 first. There is another Death Armos that is there, so you can defeat it before you continue on. Jump over to the platform and hit the pressure switch. Go back to Room 21. Step 21: Room 21: Back in Room 21, use your Bow to eliminate the hanging mines. After all the mines are gone, turn into Deku Link and use the Flower to reach the cage that is midway across the room. Enter Room 22. Step 22: Room 22: While you are going in through this room, be careful of the Blue Bubbles. Use your Bow to defeat them from a distance, because if they touch you, you will be cursed, causing you the inability to not use your sword. The good thing, is that you can break the curse by using the Song of Storms. When you are ready, and are not cursed, then enter Room 23. Step 23: Room 23: Prepare for the final mini-boss in Majora's Mask. This one is Gomess. Make sure that you have your Light Arrows ready, because you will need to use them a bit in this room. Gomess is like all the other swordsmen, except the fact that he had Keese surrounding him. This is where the Light Arrows will come into play. Use Light Arrows to get rid of the Keese cloak, then try to get a sword strike in. The scythe that Gomess has is long-handled. With it's long reach, Gomess will try to swing in circles, and will try to nail you with it. Defeating Gomess will get you the Boss Key. Step 24: Rooms 13, 24, 25: After getting the Boss Key, use the Song of Soaring to go back to the entrance. Look towards the ceiling to get signs of the chest that you managed to uncover with the switch that was guarded by the Death Armos a little earlier. Let Tatl be your guide to finding it. Use your Hookshot on the Hookshot point, and pull up to ledge that is on the ceiling. Use the Small Key in order to get to Room 24. In Room 24, you will need to defeat the Eyegore with four hits once it's eye is yellow. After defeating it, open the chest to get a very important Mask. This is the Giant's Mask. This mask can only be used in this temple, and it helps to defeat the Boss. Go into Room 25. Use the Bow in Room 25 in order to trigger the crystal switch that is ahead of you. A chest will appear on the ceiling of the room. The next step will be to flip the temple back over, and get the remaining Fairies. Use the Stray Fairy guide at the bottom of this section (after the boss) to see where they are all to. Keep in mind that they are not in a specific order, they are in any order. After getting the Fairies, go to the Great Fairy Fountain area between the Ancient Castle of Ikana, and the Stone Tower entrance, and get the Great Fairy Sword. Also, get some bottles filled with Green Potions. You will need them for the boss. After getting the Fairies, and getting the Great Fairy Sword, flip the Temple upside down once again, and go straight through Rooms 24, and 25, then straight to the Boss's Lair. The boss is Twinmold, two giant twin centipedes. There are two ways to defeating Twinmold. One of them includes the mask you just picked up. All Twinmold will do, is spend the battle going in and out of the sand, and they will track your progress out in the sand. You will take damage if you are in their way. The first way to defeat Twinmold will involve being small. Target one of the Twinmold centipedes using your Bow, or Bombs, or your Sword. The Great Fairy Sword will be the best item for taking these two on when you are small. The other way involves using the Giant's Mask. You can simply use that Mask and make the fight evem....for a few seconds. Every second that you use the Giant's Mask, you will be taking away from your Magic Meter This is where your Green Potions will come into play. Another problem is that you will not be able to Z target them. Hit either their face, or their tales to defeat them. Also, while small, the giant monsters, Twinmold, will run into pillars, making it easier for you to get more Green Potions for your Magic Meter. Congradulations. You have defeated Twinmold, and got another Heart Container, as well as the final Remain's Mask. It is now time to take on the Skull Kid. Here are all 15 Stray Fairies that you can get in the Stone Tower Temple, as well as how many are in each room. Because Stone Tower Temple is a lot different from the other Temple, the Stray Fairy Guide will be different as well. Here is out to get them in any order: 1.) Shoot the Eye Switch in Room 1 and Hookshot to the Chest. 2.) In Room 8, shine light onto the right mirror using the Mirror Shield. Run up to the rays it puts out and melt the Sun Block. Go to the chest. 3.)In Room 8, use the Mirror Shield to deflect the sun's light onto one of the six Sun Crests on the wall. Hitting the right one will make the chest appear. 4.) In Room 4, use the Hookshot Point that is on the right wall on the target, and is above the two Armos Statues, and open the chest. 5.) Inside Room 9, turn into Deku Link and propel yourself to the ledge with rupees. After getting the Rupees, open the chest. 6.) Inside Room 9, Turn into Goron Link and do the Goron Stomp on the switch. As fast as you can, do a Goron Roll through the lava. Don't go into GORON-SPIKE mode, because you'll lose control. Roll around as smoothly as possible to the other side, then roll over the Switch in order to put out the flames that surround the chest. 7.) Inside Room 12, kill the Hiploop, then jump down onto the ledge to your right. Grab the Rupees, then plant a Bomb over the Crystal Switch. Open the chest that appears. 8.) In Room 5, let the Dixiehand throw you up onto the ledge. Use a Bomb to hit the Crystal Switch, and make a chest appear. Next, Use Light Arrows on the Sun Block, and open the chest that isguarded by a Beamos Statue. 9.) In Room 7, sink to the bottom as Zora Link, and shoot the spikes Boomerang Attack. Step on the switch. When you come back here after the temple is flipped, launch up to the switch platform, then play the Elergy OF Emptiness as Link on the switch, then fly over to the platform as Deku Link. 10.) In Room 11, defeat the Eyegore, and open the chest. 11.) In Room 1, go forward a few steps, turn around, then shoot the Sun Crest. This will reveal a chest. 12.) Defeat the Wizzrobe in Room 18. 13.) In Room 13, use the Hookshot to the Chest. 14.) In Room 5, sink to the bottom of the water to find a chest that is on a ledge. 15.) After flipping the temple over, go east into that room, and run out onto the narrow strip, turn, and use a Fire Arrow on the Eye Switch. Sink to the bottom and open the chest. ------------------- 2.22 The Final Hour ------------------- Wait until the Final Night, when the clock tower opens, then make your way up for the final confrontation with the Skull Kid. After all the talking is done and over with, play the Oath to Order, and bring the four that you rescued from the four temples to Clock Town. They will stop the moon. After Majora's Mask goes into the Moon, you will need to chase it to defeat it. Do so. You will be on the prairie, where you see the Four Remain's Masks playing, and of course, the Majora's Mask is there in the shadow of the tree. You need 23 of the 24 Masks, because the 24th one will be given to you by the kid wearing Majora's Mask. Each of the four Remain's Mask children will be looking for Masks. Find the one wearing Odolwa's Remains, and give him one Mask. Deku Hide-and-Seek Dungeon: Put on the Deku Mask, and make sure that you push your gliding skills to the limit. Like in the temples, the Yellow flowers will fly you farther then the pink ones. Reach both the Exit and the Heart Piece, and then give the child another Mask. Find the child that has Goht's Remain's Mask on. Give him 2 Masks. Goron Hide-and-Seek Dungeon: You will need to roll the goron through the maze, without falling off. This is where the max speed that you can do the roll with comes into play. Try to roll to get the Heart Piece, as well as roll to the end of this section. After finding this child, like the previous one, you will need to give this one two more masks. Find the child with Gyorg's Remain's Mask on, and give him 3 Masks. Zora Hide-and-seek Dungeon: In order to get the Heart Piece, take the left path, then the second right, then the first left path. You will be transfored back to the start again, making so that you can find the child. To find that the third child, you will need to take the same path as you did to get the Heart Piece, only this time, you will need to make a right instead of the left. After finding the child, give him three masks. Find the final child with Twinmold's Remain's Mask one, and give him four masks. Link Hide-and-Seek Dungeon: This one will test all the abilities that you learned in the game. Keep in mind that you only have four masks left at this point. After getting some items that you need in the first room, enter the next room and Defeat the Dinofos. Two hits with the Gilded Sword will do. The next room will put you against a Garo. Avoid the attack, and defeat it like the Garo Boss in the Stone Tower Temple. After defeating it, get away from it to avoid the explosion, and Hookshot to the balcony into the next room. This room will put you against the final enemy in this Dungeon, and the final enemy before Majora's Mask. This will be the Iron Knuckles. Defeat them like you did earlier, and then get the Bombchus from the chest. Use them to explode the wall that has a crack in it. You will need to time it right in order for it to work. This will make an Eye Switch appear. Use Fire Arrows to break it open, and enter the next room. Get the Heart Piece in the next room, and send another Bombchu up the ceiling to get a frozen Eye Switch to appear. Shoot it with a Fire Arrow, then enter the room for the Gossip Stone. Give the child the final four masks that you have. The next child will be the last one. This one is important because you will be pitted against Majora's Mask. The child will mention about weak masks, and if you have none, then you will be given the Fierce Diety's Mask. This mask can be used against all the boss's, and makes the fights easier. Next up, it is time to defeat Majora's Mask. ------------------ 2.23 Majora's Mask ------------------ This is it. The first of three battles with Majora's Mask. Before the fight can even begin, the four Remain's Masks will take their place on the surrounding wall. Majora's Mask will spring to life, and the battle will begin. Majora's Mask will start in a buzzsaw fashion, , so you will need to block the attack with your shield. The Mask itself will have protection on it, so you will need to attack it on the backside. After three hits that are successful, the battle will get another step tougher. The Four Remain's Mask will join the fight. You will need to use the Mirror Shield to reflect a fiery attack back at either the Remain's Masks, or back at Majora's Mask. This will damage them. After this battle, get ready for part two. ------------------------- 2.24 Majora's Incarnation ------------------------- After the transformation, you will now need to take on Majora's Incarnation. This version of the fight will see the mask have long, arms and legs. It will run around the room like a chicken, taunting you, and pausing long enough to get a blast attack on you. You will need to use the Spin attack on it. This will trip of the speedy mask, allowing you to get more hits on it. After this battle is over, then there is one more battle with the Mask left to go. ------------------- 2.25 Majora's Wrath ------------------- The final transformation will begin, and you will take on Majora's Wrath. This version will have extremely long arms that are like whips, that can pull you in from across the room. This is where the Light Arrows come into play. You will need to shoot Light Arrows at it in order to stun it, and then rush over to it and attack Majora's Wrath with youe sword. If you are low on Magic, then open up a clay jar, and use that to gain more Green Potions. Congradulations. You have defeating Majora's Mask and finished the game. ---------- 3. After getting them, you will automatically get a sectet password that will be random depending on the person that plays it. The Bomber's Notebook will be proof of membership as well. This will give you the underground passage to the Astral Observatory, and you will not need to play Hide-and-Go Seek anymore. Anju: Reunite Anju with Kafei, her missing fiancee. In order to do this one, you will need to follow a specific path along all three days, and you cannot foil Sakon the thief's plans of stealing the old lady's package. Go to North Clock Town and when hits 12:30 a.m. then stop Sakon from stealing the package. You will get the Romani Mask for your troubles. Guru-Guru: Listen to his confession. This is the easiest task that you will need to complete. All you need to do is go to the Laundry Pool, and listen to Guru-Guru's confession. At the end of the confession, you will get the Bremen Mask. For this, you will get a Piece of Heart. Madame Aroma: Find Kafei, her missing son.
