Introduction --------------- Welcome to the Much Games official strategy guide for The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time: Master Quest. In this guide, you will learn how to finish the game, plus have all the secrets, items, and songs that are in the game. ----------------- 2. Strategy Guide ----------------- ------------------------------ 2.1 Getting A Sword and Shield ------------------------------ In order to get the Kokiri Sword you will need to go to the training ground. That is the ground to the left of your house. There is a little hole there in the wall. Climb into that hole and go to the other side. Watch out for the boulder. Go right, left, and right again, and you will see a treasure chest. The next item to get is the Kokiri Shield. In order to get this shield, you need to collect 40 rupees. In order to collect these rupees, you will need to go into grassy fields, chop plants, and go behind Milo's house. Inside, Milo's house there are 4 chest that either contain rupees or hearts. Once you have recieved 40 rupees, go to the shop. A Kokiri girl is on the roof of the entrance. ------------------------- 2.2 Inside The Deku Tree ------------------------- Once you are inside, defeat the Deku Babas, and get the Deku Sticks. You will need these for lighting the torches inside, and around Hyrule. Go along the ledge until you see a large Treasure Chest. Defeat the Baby Gohma Egg using the Jump Attack before getting to close for it to hatch. Once you are near the chest, beware of the Gohma Egg that will fall from above. There are shadows of these eggs if they are on the ceiling, and you will notice the shadows on the floor. Open the chest to get the Dungeon Map. Climb the vines on the wall and go to the third floor. Hit the switch on the floor to light the torches on both the third and second floors. This will burn the nearby web that is blocking the door. Go into the door on the third floor. Light up a Deku Stick and light the Torch that is in the middle of this room. This will cause a small treasure chest to appear on the opposite end of the room. Make sure that you take out the Baby Gohmas while they are on the ground, and check to make sure that you know where they are on the ceiling by looking at the ceiling. Make sure that you defeat all the Baby Gohmas in this room to make a big treasure appear. This will have a Fairy Slingshot in it. Press the switch that is near the entrance to make the platforms come up temporarily, then get on them to make it to the big chest. After getting the small chest, exit the room. Go back down to the second floor and remove the cobwebs using a lighted Deku Stick. Instead of fighting a Deku Scrub, you will be taking on a Giant Deku Baba. Take it out using your Fairy Slingshot, then use the Fairy Slingshot once again on the Eye to advance to the next room. Defeat the enemies that are in this room, then get the Compass from the big Treasure Chest. You will need to have your Fairy Slingshot back out so that you can defeat the Skulltula in the belly twice, then shoot down the ladder. Once the ladder is down, then exit the room, and go back to the main room. Go back up to the third floor and jump off the edge making sure that you are in the middle of the cobweb so that you break through it. Once you are in Basement 1, then hit the switch on the floor in order to burn the cobwebs. Next, light a Deku Stick, and use it to butn another cobweb to the left of the torch. Push the switch to make a chest drop from the ceiling. Open it to get it's contents, then use your Fairy Slingshot in order to open the door with the bars in front of it. Go into the next room. In the next room, you will need to defeat the Deku Scrub to allow it to give you a secret. This will relate to his brothers up ahead, and the order is different from Ocarina of Time. Deflect it's nut with your Shield and then use your sword to defeat the Baby Gohmas while the nut cannon is bouncing in pain. If the Deku Scrub gets back into it's flower by the time you have defeated all of the Baby Gohma's then let it be dumb by shooting another nut at you so you can deflect it and get the secret. In order to advance into the next room, you will need to go into the previous room and light a Deku Stick. Bring the lighted Deku Stick into the next room and light the two torches that are unlit. Go into the next room. Get the small chest that is on the left, then get ready to time perfectly. You need to light a Deku Stick by lighting the torch and makeing sure that you can get it to the other side. There is a time limit on the torch so you will need to time it well. Make sure that you duck under the spikes. and watch out for the Baby Gohma. Once you are on the other side, then light the two torches to make sure that you unlock the door. Climb behind the Giant Skulltula. You will need to return to this room after you have learned the Song of Time to remove the Time block. This will give you access to another treasure chest. In order to defeat the Baby Gohma's that are on the floor, just use the Deku Scrub's nut as a shield while Z-Targeting one of the eggs. In order to take out the Baby Gohma eggs on the ceiling, just use your Fairy Slingshot on them. If they manage to hatch, then use your Deku Nut in order to stun them before attacking them. There will also be a Keese that hangs in this room. Defeat it and you will be able to go into the next room. In this room, you will need to eliminate the Keese that are on the Torches before lighting them because they can and will burn your Deku Shield if they turn into Fire Keese. Once they are defeated, then hit the switch to light the timed-fire torches. Light up a Deku Stick and burn off the Cobwebs in order to go into the hole and make it into the main room in Basement 1. Once you have made it to the other side of the room, then take out the Deku Scrub. He will sell you a Deku Shield for 50 Rupees, incase you have lost yours, then get it. If not then do not get one. Take out the Deku baba next and then move the Giant Block into the water to make sure that you can now make it to the other side without having to go through all that again. Light up yet another Deku Stick and go up the block and onto the Cobweb. Swing the Deku Stick at the cobweb before it burns out and if you have done it right, then you will fall into Basement 2. Remember these three Scrubs from the origional Ocarina of Time? Well, this time, they are a different order in order to defeat them. This time go, Right, Left, and Center. Once you get this right, like the fleeing scru in the origional OOT, this one will also give away a secret about the boss. Enter the bosses chamber to fight it. The bosses name is Queen Gohma. Use a Deku Nut when Gohma is near you. Attack her with your sword. When she is on the ceiling, attack her with your Fairy Slingshot. She should fall. Hit her with your sword. Hit her at least 10 times with your sword before you have defeated her. You have now defeated the first boss, Queen Gohma. ------------------ 2.3 Hyrule Castle ------------------ Before we actually start the Hyrule castle section there is one requirement you need. A cucco. Talk to the little girl in the Market. Then, go to the castle, back to the market, and back to the castle again. That girl is there near the vines. Talk to her and she will give you a Weird Egg. Set it to one of the C buttons to incubate it. Climb the vines. Go to the bridge and jump the on to the road.As the road turns, make a turn up the hill, and go straight until you see the path. Follow that path, but go straight to the wallnear the stairs. There is a little soft spot in the soil. Climb it. Go into the water and swim to the corner. Go to the boxes and when the cucco has hatched, wake up Talon. After Talon fled the scene to get his daughter, move the boxes. You will hear a sound when the boxes are correctly on top of each other. Jump to the little water fall, and you are ready for the castle sneak in. --------------------------- 2.4 Hyrule Castle Sneak In --------------------------- There are 5 sections of guards you must pass in order to get to Princess Zelda. Read below to find out how to get past each section of guards. Guard What To Do 1 Wait until the guard is on the other side of the bushes. 2 Wait until both guards go on the other side or one guard at a time goes to the other side. 3 Go along the board at the top. Watch your step. 4 Wait until the guards go behind the statue. 5 Either follow the guards or go on the opposite side. After meeting Princess Zelda, and talking to her in the brief scene, go to Impa. Talk to her. You will learn the song Zelda's Lullaby. This song will be useful later on. When this is done, you will need to go to Goron City up on Death Mountain. You will need to go to Kakariko Village first. ------------------------- 2.5 Lon Lon Ranch Part 1 ------------------------- You should go to Lon Lon Ranch before you go to Kakariko Village, or the Graveyard. Once you enter Lon Lon Ranch go to the first door on the left. Talon is there sleeping with three Super Cuccos by his side. Get all of them within a certain time limit and you will recieve a bottle. Next, go to the horse field to see Malon. She will give you your second song once you have talked to her and showed her the Fairy Ocarina. Now you can go to Kakariko Village. --------------------- 2.6 Graveyard Part 1 --------------------- After entering Kakariko Village, go straight to the end of the town and go to the graveyard. Once you enter the graveyard go to the end to the gravestone. We will tell you right now that you can do this part as an adult, but it is best to get this part out of the way. Play Zelda's Lullaby. After playing this song, enter the grave. The first thing to do in the grave is the defeat all of the Keese in that room. In the next room, just run to the left side and stay against the wall. You might be frightned for a few seconds, but after that just go to the next room. Read the poem and you will get the Sun's song. Make sure that it is night time when you are doing this next part. Once you exit that grave, go to the second grave and open the grave. Go into that grave and you should see a treasure chest. Open the chest and you will have the Hylian Shield. When you are back in Kakariko Village, then you can help the Cucco Lady with her Cuccos. One is at the entrance, one is next to her, one is on the platform next to the House of Skulltula, one in a crate next to the Carpenters House, one next to the guard at the gate, one next the potion shop, and one behind the Windmill. Once that is done, go find the guard and give him Zelda's Letter. He will let you through, and asks a favor of you which you can complete later on. --------------- 2.7 Lost Woods --------------- After making away to the Lost Woods, just follow the beat that is played by an ocarina. if you were to take the full way, go right, left, right, left, straight, left and right. If you are going to go from the way to Goron City entrance, it is left, left, straight, left and right. At the Sacred Forest Meadow, all you have to do is just defeat the Wolfos in order to open the spikes. On your way to see Saria, just use your Kokiri Shield to delect the shells the Deku Scrubs throw at you. Once they are up out of the ground, then attack them with your sword. Once you are at Saria, just talk to her and you will recieve Saria's Song. --------------- 2.8 Goron City --------------- Go back to Darunia at Goron City. Play Saria's Song in front of him. He will just dance from what he calls "Such A Great Beat." Darunia will give you a bracelet to use for picking up Bomb Flowers. Go to the entrance to Goron City, and go to where the Goron is rolled up right next to the Bomb Flower. Pick up the bomb and throw it at the entrance to Dodongo's Cavern. Once the rocks are gone, enter Dodongo's Cavern. --------------------- 2.9 Dodongo's Cavern --------------------- When you are inside the starting point, then use a Bomb Flower from either the left or right side to blow up the rocks that are in the way. Then, enter Dodongo's Cavern. Go into the middle of the main room and get the Bomb Flower. You will need to go to the right side of the room quickly by jumping on the moving platform and making sure that you can make it to the far side of that platform to blow up the rocks. Once you have done that, then go in there and get the Dungeon Map. Go back to the middle of the room and pick up the Bomb Flower once again. This time, you will need to throw it at the boulder that is near the Giant Dodongo skull. This will reveal a switch. Press the switch in order to activate a moving platform that will take you to the second floor. Go up to the second floor. Cross the bridge that is over the Giant Dodongo skull, and hit the switch that is on the other side. After doing this, go back down to the first floor, and enter the next room on the left side of the main room. Like in the origonal Ocarina of Time, you will need to start a chain reaction in order to make the stairs fall down. To do this, you will need to use a Bomb Flower that is separate from that pack, and place it in the middle. In order to do this though, you will need to use a Bomb Flower and blow up the stone door in order to get the Bomb Flower that is on the wall. Light up a Deku Stick and make sure that you light the Bomb Flower. Quickly pick up the Bomb Flower and throw it in the middle between the two front Bomb Flowers where the gap is. This will start the chain reaction that is needed in order to lower the stairs. Go up to the second floor, and get the five Silver Rupees that are in this room. One will be inside the Beamos. You will need to get a Bomb Flower in order to eliminate it and get the Silver Rupee. The next three Silver Rupees will be in crates, and the last Silver Rupee will be on the vines that is near the locked door on that second floor. Once you have unlocked the door, then enter the next room. Defeat all of the Dodongo's that are in this room. In order to do that, you will need to do use a Bomb Flower in order to defeat them. Climb the ladder that is in the center of the room, and grab a Bomb Flower. Throw it in front of the Dodongo's and they should swallow it. Make sure that you remain on that platform because the explosion is huge. Once they are defeated, and you got the Compass, then make your way into the next room. After crossing the bridge, and making it to the other side, you will need to light the torches in this room before doing anything else. Push the blocks next to the torches and then light a Deku Stick on the lit torch. Make your way to the other three unlit torches and light them. This will cause the torch that is on the platform to light up as well. Pull the block out of the wall and go to the newly lit torch. Light up a Deku Stick and burn the cobwebs. Go back into the past room and light another Deku Stick and go back into the room where you burned the cobwebs. Light the first torch and then hide the Deku Stick. Defeat the first Giant Skulltula, then light another Deku Stick and quickly make it to the other unlit torch. Do this quickly because the origional torch will burn out. When the other torch that is on the other side of this room starts to burn, jump down and then move the block to the other side of the room. This will allow you to continue on with this dungeon. Defeat the Keese and Skulltulas that are in the hallway before doing anything else. Next, light a Deku Stick and light a Bomb Flower. Throw the Bomb at the block that is blocking the door before it explodes. This will give you access to the next room. Like in the origional Ocarina of Time, this room will pit you against two Lizardfos. You will need to defeat them in order to proceed into the next room. Defeat these the same way as you did in Ocarina of Time. Dodge their attack with your shield, then attack them back right away. They will alternate after two hits. You will need to be fast in the next room in order to pass it. Drop down to the bottom of the room and defeat the Keese that are in the room. One of them will be in an Alcove where a Bomb Flower is located. Remove the two crates as well. Activate the crystal switch in order to turn off the ring of flames that is on the first platform and quickly make it to the alcove where the Bomb Flower is. Throw the Bomb at the boulder to make another crystal switch appear. Hit it and make sure way through the platforms to the otherside of the room before the rings appear again. Make your way down the hall and use a Bomb Flower to remove that boulders in your way. Make sure that you get the chest that is on your left in the room where you needed to light the three torches. You will be on the other side of that room. Continue until you make it to the main room. Make sure that your Heart Gauge is full on four hearts when you do this next part. Grab a Bomb Flower and fall down towards the left side of the cliff. Once you crash at the bottom, throw the Bomb at the blocked-door right away in order to access the inside. If you did not do it right the first time, then keep trying it until you need a heart refill, then get hearts and try it again. Climb the platform that will lead you to the second floor in order to do it again. Climb the left block and go up to the Bomb Flower. Use that Bomb Flower to destroy a the closest boulder so that you can reveal another Bomb Flower. Pick up that Bomb Flower and throw it towards the end of the Bomb Flowers that leads up towards the ceiling. This will start another chain reaction that will uncover an eye switch. Use the Fairy Slingshot on it in order to gain access to the next room. Be careful of the Flame Keese in this room because they will burn up your Deku Shield if you do have that one equipped. If not, then make sure that they hit the Hylian Shield. If you have an empty bottle, then there will be a Business Scrub that is behind a breakable stone that will sell you a Red Potion. The next room, will contain another team of Lizardfos. Defeat these the same way as you did the other ones that were in this room earlier, just that the other ones were above you. Once you defeated these two, go into the next room. Ignore the Poes that are in this room, because they will only be in the way and you will need a lot of patience to defeat them. Try to focus your attention on the Bomb Flowers that are going up the wall. There is a Bomb Flower on the other side of the room next to a crate that you can use to blow up them, and make our way out of this room. You will find a Large Treasure chest at the end of the next hall. This will contain the item that is in this dungeon. The Bombs. Well it is actually a Bomb Bag, but you will still have Bombs anyway. Go up the moving platform right up to the Giant Dodongo skull and throw one Bomb into each eye. This will cause the mouth to open, and you will have access to another section in this dungeon. After entering the mouth, go right and go to the room where you will need to push gravestones. Push one towards the wall of flames, then throw a Bomb over the flames. Once the crystal Switch is activated, then make your move to the other side and to the right door. This door will lock and you will need to fight a Poe. Defeat it the same way as you did in Ocarina of Time by dodging its attack and hitting it with your sword. After defeating it, then push the gravestone to get a chest. The next part will be tricky to do. Throw a Bomb towards the Bomb Flower to activate the crystal switch. Once you have some stairs showing, throw another Bomb in the middle of the Armos army in order to get them to move away from the stairs allowing you to gain access to them. When you are at the end of the next hallway, pull out the gravestone to reveal another switch. Hit it with your sword in order to gain access to the Boss Room. Blow up the middle door after getting the hole opened, then jump down to face the boss. The bosses name is King Dodongo. In order to defeat him, just put a bomb in his mouth, and hit him with your sword. Do this about four times. Use your Hylian shield once he starts to role. You have now defeated King Dodongo. -------------------- 2.10 Death Mountain -------------------- Before you go to Zora's Domain, go see the Great Fairy of Magic. Where the rocks are, blow them up with a bomb. As you are going up the mountain watch out for the falling rocks. Use your shield and wait until the rocks stop falling. Once you are at the top, just blow up the door and go in. After recieving the magic power, go to the other room and blow up the boulder in the circle of rocks.Use a bottle to get the fish in the water. -------------------------- 2.11 Zora's River & Domain -------------------------- Just go left and follow the river in order to get to Zora's River. Once you are in Zora's River, use at least 3 bombs to blow up all of the rocks (you will find you why in the future). Use the Cucco to get to the other side of the River. Jump to the other bit of land and go to the other side of the river. Discard the Cucco before you go to the other side. Once you are at the log, there are 5 frogs stairring at you. Play all of the repeat songs you learn to them and see what happens. Follow the river to Zora's Domain. In order to get into Zora's Domain you will need to play a song. Zelda's Lullaby. Once you are inside go left of the Kings Throne. Play the Water game. You wil have a limited time to gt the five rupees. Once you have Completed this part, back to the zora and recieve the Silver Scale. Go to Lake Hylia. There is a shortcut you can take in the water at Zora's Domain. Once you are in Lake Hylia, try to find something suspicious in the water. That item is a bottle. Once you have the bottle, go back to King Zora and show him the letter inside the bottle. He will let you go inside Lord Jabu Jabu and save Princess Ruto. Before you save Princess Ruto, there is one item you need in order to enter Lord Jabu Jabu. A fish. An easy way to get it as we explained earlier is to go to Death Mountain Crater and blow up the boulder in the circle of rocks. Once you have done this, go to Lord Jabu Jabu and feed him the fish. You are now in Lord Jabu Jabu's Belly. ---------------------------------- 2.12 Inside Lord Jabu Jabu's Belly ---------------------------------- Just as you think you seen it all, well this one is the strangest. There are cows in the walls of Jabu-Jabu. Yes you read it, cows. Hit one with your Fairy Slingshot to open the door to the next room, and hit another one to get a small chest. Defeat the Octorok like the Deku Scrubs, with your Deku Shield, and pop the Shaloms by using a Deku Nut. Use a Bomb on the boulder to to get a large switch. Press it to uncover a big chest containing the Dungeon Map. Use the Deku Nuts in order to stun the Bari that are in the next room, then attack them with your sword. They need to be stunned in order for you to strike with your sword or you will be electrocuted. Jump onto the moving platform and ride it into Basement 1. There will be a cow sitting underwater. Hit it with your Fairy Slingshot in order to make a Large Chest to appear next to it. This will contain the Compass. Get the small chest that is close by, then eliminate the Stinger with your Fairy Slingshot before swimming into the water. Next, swim into the water and go into the next room to collect the compass. Hit the switch and go back to the moving platform. You will now have access to the next room. After talking to Princess Ruto, follow her down the hole that she falls into. Talk to her again to start to carry her around Lord Jabu-Jabu's stomach. Press the blue switch in the middle of the room and ride the water. Once you reach the ledge with the blue switch, then go onto it and place Ruto on it. Keep her there because you will need her in order to go into the next room. Hit the cows in the walls to get some small chests, one of which will contain Bombchus. You will need to defeat all of the enemies in the next room in order to get the Boomerang in this room. Do not get too close to the Like Likes because you will lose your Shield if they swallow you. Once it is defeated, you will be able to get it back. In order to target the Stingers, you will need to either get close to them so that they come up out of the water, or use a Deku Nut on them to make them come out of the water. Once you have access to their stomachs, target it and hit it with your Fairy Slingshot. Activate the switch in the middle of the room in order to raise, the water, and go to the alcove to get the Boomerang. Once you got the Boomerang, then the water that is blocking the otherside will dissappear. Raise the water once again to get to the other side. You will return to the room where you got the Compass. Just go back up into the first floor. Go back to the room where you met with Princess Ruto. You will need to use the Boomerang to stun the appendages in order to get access to the door. Before doing that, however, you will need to get the door unlocked. Look around the room for some boulders, and use a Bombchu in order to destroy them. A normal Bomb can do this as well, but the throw will need to be perfect in order to get rid of them. Use your Fairy Slingshot on the cow to unlock the door. Once you reach the appendage, stun it and then climb over it in order to make it to the next room. Fight the Lizardfos in this room, and then break apart the boulders. Find a crate in this room in order to place it on the switch and keep it there while you are in the next room. You will need to defeat the tentacle the same way in this game as you did in the origional Ocarina of Time. L-Target it and throw your Boomerang it the tenticle. In order to get it back down, you will need to get closer to the center of the room. Once this tenticle is defeated, the tenticle that is blocking the door will be eliminated as well. In the room to the right of the room where you need to fight the Tenticles will be a pair of Like Likes. Defeat them like you did earlier in this dungeon, and a Small Chest will appear. Remember that the door will lock behind you, and when it unlocks, the torches will also be lit. Light up a Deku Stick and go to the left part of Link in order to see the cobwebs. This on the map will be the right side of the room. After burning the cobwebs, then enter the room, and take on another tenticle. Defeat it like the other one and the tenticle across the way will be defeated. Go to the other side of the room and into the far left room. Defeat the final Tenticle to make sure that you can go back down the hole to where Princess Ruto is. Remember that she was on the switch and had to be kept there so that you could continue on with the progress in the dungeon. Make your way back to Ruto and hear about how much she is mad at you. Pick her up again and activate the switch that is located in the middle of the room. This will make the water rise again. Go into the next room, where Princess Ruto will see the stone that she is searching for. Throw her on it and then prepare for battle. After the platform goes up and comes back down, you will need to fight a Big Octo. In order to defeat the Big Octo, you will need to stay close behind it. Use the same technique you used in the origional Ocarina of Time by rolling around trying to catch it, and avoiding the spikes that go in the opposite direction. Once you get close enough, throw your boomerang at it to stun the big creature, then attack it with your sword. Repeat this step, and make sure that you don't get too close. If you do, then it will retreat into the ground and appear behind you. Once you have defeated the Big Octo, then go back up the the first floor. Use your Fairy Slingshot on the cow in order to get the door unlocked. While on your way to the door, you can use the Boomerang to defeat the Bari that blocks the door. Shoot the cow in the next room with the Fairy Slingshot. This will reveal two crates from where you entered the room. You will need to use a crate in order to activate the switch on the other side of the room. Pick up one of the crates. Drop your crate next to you, then use your Boomerang to stun the first appendage. Grab the crate and hurry over to the first one. Drop it again, and hit the second appendage like you did the first. Get the Crate again and then make your way over to the end. Place the crate on the switch and make your way to the next room. Once you are in the next room, just jump on the ledge in order ot lower it to the next room. Hit the cow with the Fairy Slingshot. This will reveal a Small Chest. Once you are in the next room, defeat the Like Likes and then target the left cow head. This will make another Small Chest appear. Target the Right cow head three times (the first two will make it rise) in order to unlock the Boss Room. Go to the boss. The bosses name is Barinade. This boss is an organ surrounded by bari. Watch out for the electricity that Barinade shoot at you. In order to defeat Barinade, use the boomerang to take off the top part that hooked to the ceiling of the room. Use the boomerang some more to eliminate the Bari once they stop spinning. Once all of the bari is defeated, The organ will start spinning. Use your boomerang to freeze it, and use your sword to defeat it. Congradulations, you have now defeated Barinade. The bad news is that Princess Ruto is angrier with you than earlier. -------------------------- 2.13 Temple of Time Part 1 -------------------------- Once you have all 3 Spiritual Stones, go back to Hyrule Castle. Remember the dream at the begining of the adventure? you will see that part. Zelda throws the Ocarina of Time in the water. After the scene is done, get it out of the water. Another clip will start. In this clip, you will learn the Song of Time. Go to Hyrule castle and blow up the boulder at the end of the trail before the first right turn. Get the Fairy's Power. Before you go to the Temple of Time, go to Hyrule Castle. Go to where the rock is and blow up the rock with a bomb. Go in and get Din's Fire. Go to the Temple of Time. At the alter, play the Song of Time. The door will open. Go to the Master Sword. Pull the Legendary Sword out of the petestal. The bad news is that you can't go get the Triforce before Ganondorf. There really is no good news in this part. As you wake up after 7 years of sleep, the first person you see in Rauru. After he explains what happens he will add his power to yours. You now have the Light Medallion. As you return to the Temple of Time, a strange person, named Shiek welcomes you back. He explains to you what you have to do, and where you have to go. Go to the graveyard. --------------------- 2.14 Graveyard Part 2 --------------------- Once you go back to the graveyard, go int Dampe's house. Read his Journal entey, and go into his grave. The grave is the one next to the wall with a crate on top of it. The next time you see Dampe is with a halo over his head. Race him. Just follow his every move. Once you are at the end of the trail, he will give you his Keepsafe. It is a Hookshot. Use it to get into the Forset Temple. To get out of the Grave, just go behind the chest and play the Song of Time. Continue until you are in the Windmill. After you get the Heart, go to the angry Windmill keeper, and talk to him. Show your Ocarina, and you will learn the Song of Storms. Once other thing to remind you. If you did not get the Sun's Song as a child you can go get it now. Go to the Graveyard Part 1 for details on how to get the Sun's Song. ------------------------- 2.15 Sacred Forest Meadow ------------------------- The Sacred Forest Meadow is where you had to get Saria's Song at the Lost Woods Section. There are some Moblins blocking your way to get to the end of the Sacred Forest Meadow. Use your Hookshot to get rid of them. You can also use bombs to get rid of them. The last Moblin is a different story though. Unlike the other Moblins, this one has a club. Everytime you moved he will hit the area you were in. Try to avoid the area the Moblin hits the club at. Once you are near it, use your sword to defeat the Moblin. Once you are at the spot where Saria gave you "Saria's Song", Sheik appears out of nowhere. He will give you the "Minuet of Forest". After learning this song, use your Hookshot to the tree and enter the Forest Temple. ------------------ 2.16 Forest Temple ------------------ You will need to get the Small Key in this dungeon before moving on. You can enter the next room, however, that will be as far as you will get without the key. Climb the vines that are on the right sode of the room, and make your way up to the tree. Try to avoid the Skulltulas while you are attempting to do this as well. Once you are on top of the tree, make your way carefully to the other tree, then press the switch. A large chest will appear with the Small Key inside. Go into the next room and defeat the Giant Skulltula with your Hookshot. When you have made it to the main room, you will see the Poe sisters. They will take out all of the flames that are on the pedestals making the room dark. The exact same thing will happen in the origional as well. Defeating each one will get those torches relit. Go to the other side of the room, and play the Song of Time on the Block of Time. This will move the block. Once you make it through the hallway, you will be locked into the next room. Your opponents will be two Wolfos. Defeat them by making them show their backs to you. Once they are defeated, get the Small Key and make your way back to the main room. Go to the left door from when you origionally entered. The door behind you will once again lock, but this time it is a different enemy. This one will only be a Stalfos, the most skilled enemy to face at this point in the game. Make sure that you shield it's attack, and try to hit it just before it strikes in order to defeat it. Defeating the Stalfos will give you access to the next room. In order to make it to the top of this room, you will need to align the blocks correctly. To do this, just pull the first block as far left as you are able to. Make sure that you know where the ladder is located. You will need to use it in a bit. Continue going right until you see another block, then push the block until you cannot push it no more. Go back to the ladder and climb it. Follow the arrows to the next block and pull it out as far as you are able to. Go back down the ladder, then climb the blocks that you managed to put in the floor. Once you are back on the second floor, then push the final block until it falls and you get access to the next level. Once you are on the next level, hit the crystal switch and go into the next room. Continue going up until you have reached the room with the two Blue Bubbles. Use the Hookshot or the Deku Nuts in order to stun them, then use your Sword to attack them. Unlock the door with the Small Key. Go down the hallway into the hallway, and Go down into the bottom of the room and get the Boss Key from the Blue Treasure Chest. Be careful of the decending Shadow that comes over you. This will be a WallMaster that will look to throw you out of the dungeon. Once the shadow gets close, just roll out of the way, then hit it with your sword. After getting the Boss Key, go through the hole and into the room that is below. Do not be fooled by the FloorMaster in this room because it will not take you back to the beginning of the dungeon. Attacking it will make it divide into three smaller hands. Defeat them, then go into the now unlocked door. Go down and into the next room. There will be a Redead in this room. Play the Sun's Song in order to stun it, then defeat it using your sword. This will give you a chest with a Small Key inside. Exit this room, and then go through the door that is on the right. Go back up to the room where you had to move the blocks and hit the crystal switch again. This will twist the hallway where you managed to get the Boss Key. Use the Hookshot to get up to the new platforms and make your way through the twisted hallway. Make your way to the locked door, and use the Small Key to unlock it. Ignore the Poe Joelle that will be switching between paintings for the moment. This one will require one item before you can fight her. The door will lock behind you and you will need to fight a Stalfos. Do not go into the hole that is in the middle of the room, or else you will fall through it. Take your time defeating this one. Once it is defeated, the hole will be covered and you will need to face off against two more of them. This battle will be tougher, because if you defeat one of them, then you will only have seconds to defeat the other one before the origional goes back to normal again. Once you defeat both of the Stalfos, then you will get the Fairy Bow from the Big Chest. Go back into the previous room, and burn all three paintings from a distance. The distance part is because Joelle can move from painting to painting. Once you have burned all three paintings, Joelle will appear, and you will need to fight her at the bottom of the stairs. Use only your Hookshot or your Fairy Bow on her when she is visible. Once she is defeated, then you will get the Dungeon Map. Go past the room where you got the Fairy Bow. Once you have made it to the other side, you will need to do the same thing as you did with Joelle. Defeat Beth, the Blue Poe, the same way as you did with Joelle to get the Compass. You will not be able to move past anymore until you get another Small Key. Go back to the main room, and use the Fairy Bow on the eye switches in order to reach the courtyards. Go into the right one first. Aim your Fairy Bow into the well and at the eye switch. Hitting it will drain the water. Go into the well in order to get the Small Key at the end of the tunnel. Climb back up the way that you came into. Aim for the Hookshot spot that is located above the entrance in the right courtyard, then climb on the ledge. Face the Time Block and play the Song of Time in order to fill a gap with another Time Block. Jump onto the second Time Block and play the song again in order to make a third block appear. Jump onto that block, then eliminate the Wallskulltula before jumping onto the vines. Climb up to the right ledge, and open the chest in order to get another Small Key. Go back to the room where you needed to fight the Poe Beth, and use your Small Key. After going through another rotating room, watch out for the WallMaster from the ceiling. Go through the hallway where the Green Bubbles are to. Use your next Small Key to unlock that door. This next step will be a bit tricky to complete if you do not have the right equipment. If you have Din's Fire, then make sure that you get close enough to the frozen Eye Switch and use it. If you don't, then use a crate on the blue switch to keep the torch lit, and make your way around on the rotating platforms until you are in position to hit an arrow through the flame and onto the Frozen Eye. This will twist this corridor. This will twist the hallway with the Green Bubbles in it. Go back through that hallway after getting rid of the crate, and fall through the floor. The door that is on the right is locked by a switch that is in this room. You will need to be careful though because of the ceiling that will crash down on you when you get near it. Make sure that you know where the safety holes are to when you proceed through this section. The Giant Skulltulas will give you hints, so make sure that you can get them to come down, then take care of them with the Fairy Bow, or the Hookshot, then take their spot. You will see two switches near the end of the room. One will send you a Treasure Chest, while the other will unlock the door. The one on the left will be the one to hit last so that you can get the treasure chest to come down first. Go through that door on the right. Jump down to the lowest Time Block and play the Song of Time to make another one appear. This will make the highest Time Block dissappear. Jump to the second block and play the Song of Time once again in order to make that Time Block once again make an appearance. Once you have the Small Key, go back to the checker-board room and proceed to the locked door. Use the Small Key on the door. Shoot an Arrow into the painting in order to start the puzzle of the Poe Amy. In order to reveal Amy, the blocks will need to match the painting, like in the origional Ocarina of Time. Once this is done, then defeat the Poe Amy the same way you did as the Poes Joelle and Beth. Once Amy is defeated, then go into the next room and jump off the main blacony. This last Poe, Meg, will be crying until you reveal yourself from the Balcony. This one will be a bit different then the other three Poes that you needed to defeat. She will split herself into four Poes, and the only way to tell the real one is by the one that spins. Once you see the spinning Poe, L-target it and use the Fairy Bow on it. Once it is defeated, you will have access to the final floor, and will be a step closer to the Boss. In order to avoid some confusion, you will need to rotate the room, but do so in one direction. After each time you pushed the room, then check each nook. Get all the items and hit all of the switches that are in the room. Once you have completely rotated the room, you should have access to the Boss Room. Unlock the Boss Room and make your way into the first battle as an adult. Once you are in the middle of the room, the way out will be blocked. Phantom Ganon will appear. To defeat Phantom Ganon, use your bow when he appears on his horse. Watch for the real Phantom Ganon. You can tell by the face. Once Phantom Ganon is off his horse, he uses magic. Bounce the magic back at him. Then hit him with your sword. You have now defeated Phantom Ganon. -------------------------- 2.17 Death Mountain Crater -------------------------- Once you have defeated Phantom Gannon, go back to the Temple of Time. Go to where you got the Master Sword. You will end up talking to Sheik and getting the Prelude of Light. Go to Goron City. Blow up the little Goron where the huge Goron used to be. Once that is done then talk to him. You will get the Goron Tunic. Once that is done, go to Darunia's room and pull out the statue to get to Death Mountain Crater. Use the Hookshot to get to the other side of the bridge. Once you see Sheik, he will give you the Bolero of Fire. Enter the Fire Temple. ---------------- 2.18 Fire Temple ---------------- As you approach the stairs, there will be a fire wall pop out of nowhere. You cannot go up the stairs just yet because you need to do one thing first. Go through the door on the left at the bottom of the stairs. Defeat the Like-Like in this room and get a Small Chest. Open it to get and get the door unlocked. Go back into the previous room because you cannot release the Goron until later on. In order to get past the fire wall, just use the railing to get past it. You will need Din's Fire in order to get access to the top-left door. Stand in the middle of the four torches that are in the middle of the upper room, and then use Din's Fire to get them all in a single blast. Enter the top-left door. You will see Darunia at the opposite end of this room. He does not have the item needed to defat Volvagia, but will fight him anyway. Help him out by releasing all the Goron prisoners that are around the the Temple. There are two unlit torches on the right side of this room. The higher one will be hidden inside a crate as well. Find the middle ground in between the two seeable torches and use Din's Fire on them. This quickly get behind the higher torch and shoot an arrow through it at another unlit torch that is across the room. This will open the door behind that torch, which will contain a Small Key. Go back into the previous room and go down to the bottom-right door and unlock it. You will need to defeat the Keese that are in this room in order to unlock the door, however, you will need to defeat the Stalfos before they do serious damage. Use Arrows when they are not blocking you. When everything is defeated, enter the next room. Use your shield to block the flying floor tiles that will fly towards you. After they are gone, you can now focus your attention towards a tougher enemy. This will be an Iron Knuckle. Hit it to bring it to life, and then make sure that you are well prepared. Dodge the attacks by doing a backflip everytime the Iron Knuckle swings it's mighty blade, then use a Jumping Sword Attack on it as a retaliation. Keep this up until the Iron Knuckle is defeated, and you have access to the next room. Break the pots in this room to get some fairies if you need them. This next room will put you against a Flame Dancer. L-Target the chest, and use the Hookshot to it to pull it out. As it is trying to run strike it with your sword, and hit with with an Arrow. Make sure that you go the opposite way that it goes to cut off the movement. Continue doing this until it is defeated. once the Flame Dancer is defeated, open the large chest to get the Megaton Hammer. Go into the next room and use the Megaton Hammer on the switch to free the Goron. You will get the Dungeon Map inside the prison cell. Go back into the main room and go up the stairrail. On the right side of the room will be a statue that you can hit using the Megaton Hammer. Hit the statue from the side using the Megaton Hammer to knock it down. Once it is gone, you will now have access to a new section of the Fire Temple. Enter the next room. This room will have the platforms that move and dangerous lava. Make your way to the right side of the room to the platform. Be careful of the wall of fire, and try not to go on the ledge right away. In order to make it past the wall of fire, you will need to jump onto the nearby ledge. Face the ledge, and aim the Hookshot at the unlit torch. This might take a few tries, but it will be worth it at the end. Use Din's Fire in order to light the unlit torch. This will reveal some Hookshot points in this room. Bomb the wall to reveal a hidden door, and enter that room. There will be another Goron here. Use Din's Fire to light the torch, and free the Goron. Get the Small Key that is in the chest, and return to the previous room. Go to the opposite side of the room where you will see two doors. Go into the bottom door first, and hit the switch with the Megaton Hammer. This will free the next Goron. As you already know, most of the platforms in this room will just collaspe if you are on them. The one that is next to the wall on the far-left side of the room, however, will rise. Get on this one and ride it to the alcove, then enter the alcove. Use Din's Fire in order to light the torch, then send an arrow through the flames to the torch that is next to the door that had the Goronyou saved. This will unlock the above door. Use the Hookshot to reach that door. Once you are in the next room, use your Shield to destroy the floor tiles that are coming at you, and use the Hookshot on the Torch to go past the wall of flames. Open the chest to get the Boss Key. In order to get the out of the wall of flames, you will need to use the Hookshot on the torch that is in the middle of the room. Enter the next room, and climb the inside section of the metal fence to the top. Aim the Hookshot to the torch that is located below in order to reach the platform. You should see a platform that is being shot up to the second floor. You need to time your jump so that you can land on the platform going up just dies off for a few seconds. Failure to do so will make you start over the room once again. Once you are on it, make your way to the second floor. When in the first room of the second floor, use Din's Fire to light the torch. This will make a Hookshot point appear located across the way. Use the Hookshot to climb to the top of the Hookshot. This will put you on a clearing where there is a Lizalfos there. Defeat it, then you can have a choice here. Either climb the metal fence, or use the Hookshot in order to make it to the door that is above. This will place you on the third floor. As well, you will enter a big maze. Be careful of the Lizalfos that will fall and attack you in this maze. From where you entered the room, make your way to the top right area of the room. Check the wall for a weak sound, and blow that wall up. This will be part of the advice that a previous Goron mentioned to you. There is another way to find it and that is by listening to the Gold Skulltula that is in the wall as well. After blowing up the wall, use the Megaton Hammer on the rusted switch, and raise some Hookshot points. Use the Hookshot on the Hookshot point in order to get above the maze, and jump on top of the walls to get the the other side of the room. Once there, you will see a crystal switch that is behind the gate. Use a Bomb on it to deactivate it, but time it so that it can explode as close as possible to the crystal switch. If you done it right, you will have opened the gate, allowing you to get the items that are in this dungeon. There is another hidden crystal switch that is on the ground and to the left of the first one. This time, however, you will not need to use a Bomb. Use a Spin attack to ativate the hidden switch found inside one of the crates. There is another small chest inside. Use the Hookshot once again to get on top of the maze. Jump to the next platform and look at the ground to see an open spot. Blow it up with a Bomb, then climb down the metal grating back to the second floor. Make your way to the end of the path. If you look past the dungeon, you will be on the same room as you were previously. Roll into the crates to destroy them, and then use the Megaton Hammer on the rusted switch. Open the large Treasure Chest to get the Compass. Go back to the third floor. Bomb the wall to the north of the room in order to make a hidden blue switch appear next to the locked door. Go back to the dungeon where you had to Bomb the Crystal switch, and get one of the crates. Go back to the blue switch. Place the crate on that blue switch. This will keep the door unlocked, thus allowing you to enter the next room. There is another Goron prisoner in this room. Hit the switch to free the trapped Goron, and get the Small Key from the Treasure Chest that is in the cell. Go back above the maze. Close to the last wall that you bombed, you should see a locked door. Use the Small Key on it and enter the next room. Look for the giant crate and Hookshot on it. Do not destroy it because you will be able to use it again. Pick up a smaller crate and drop it on the blue switch. This will light up the two torches that are nearby. Use the Hookshot onto the same crate like you did before to get out. This will bypass using the long way around to get back. The two torches are high up the wall and above the blue switch. Shoot an arrow through the torches that you lit and start the last torch burning. This will unlock the door to the next room. Through the hallway you will come to another large room. The majority of this room deals with reaching the 4th and 5th Floors, where Gold Skulltulas are hidden. To finish the dungeon, all you have to do is use the Megaton Hammer on the block near Callout 20. You will ride a giant spike down to the 1st Floor and land right in front of the door to the Boss. Use your Boss Key to enter the room. Going through this hallway will make you go to another large room. The majority of this room here will deal with reaching the fourth and fifth floors, where there are Gold Skulltulas. In order to finish the Dungeon, all you have to do is use the Megaton Hammer on the giant block. You will right it straight to the first floor, and land right in front of the room that you seen Darunia enter. Use the Boss Key to enter the room. Also, if you want to know how to get the Skulltulas, then complete the rest of the dungeon like you would in Ocarina of Time. The boss is a dragon named Volvagia. To defeat Volvagia, use the hammer to hit its nose. Do not Z-target Volvagia when he is up in the air. Watch out for any rocks that fall from the ceiling. You have now defeated Volvagia, and unlocked Darunia as a sage. --------------- 2.19 Ice Cavern --------------- Once you return to Zora's Domain you will notice that it is all covered in ice. King Zora is covered with red ice. You will need a certain item to free him. Go to where Lord Jabu Jabu was. If you go to the right if the big iceberg, you will get a heart. Go left to enter the Ice Cavern. Be careful of the rolling boulders that are in the hallways while on your way to the first circular room. There will be Tektites as well as a Freezard that you will need to fight. You will need to use your sword on the Freezard before it freezes you. Once the enemies are gone, go to the corner of the room (you might need to look around first) to find a crystal switch hidden amoungst a couple other crystals. Hit it with your Hookshot, and continue onward. Defeat the White Wolfos and Freezards in this room in order to get access to another room. You will be able to find some Fairies in breakable pots in this room as well. Make sure that you have some empty bottles for the next room. You will need them. Once the passage is opened, then break the icicles away, and go into the next room. Defeat the Wolfos' along the way to the next room. There will be a switch that is next to a Skullwalltula which will reveal a Large Treasure Chest. The bad news is that tit will be in the red ice. Fill a Bottle up with Blue Fire and get rid of the Red Ice. This will give you the Dungeon Map. Get another Blue Flame and maybe another depending on the bottles you have empty, and go back into the previous room. Go up to where the Red Ice is to and use the Blue Flame on it. You will be able to make it to the next room now. While on the way, beware of the boulders and the Freezards that will be in your way. Make sure to try to sneak past the boulders by knowing which way they are going. The crystal switch that is stuck in the ice on the floor will remove a block that will be surrounding a heart container. Set a Bomb directly from the top of the switch in order to get it activated. You will need to defeat the first Freezard in the room by throwing Bombs at it. Once that is done, continue going along the elevated areas in this room and defeat the Freezard that is right next to the chest. This will give you the Compass. Get the Blue Fire here before going back to the previous room. Go to the door that has the red ice, and use the Blue Fire on it. When you are fighting the two White Wolfos', be careful not to fall down into any of the holes. This will place you back at the start of the Ice Cavern. Try to lure the Wolfos's by targeting them and placing them in front of the holes, then hit them into it. Try not to fal yourself though. The left passage will be blocked by you named it, red ice. If you need more Blue Fire, then play the Song of Time to make a Time Block appear. Climb it to get to the fountain. There will be a crystal switch that is above the entrance of the room. If it is activated, then the block that is in front of the red ice will disappear, which will allow you to get the Gold Skulltula. After getting the Gold Skulltula, then hit the crystal switch once again in order to make the block once again appear. This will be your access to the red ice. Make sure that you have more Blue Fire for King Zora. While on your way to the last room, you will need to make sure that you defeat the Ice Keese before the freeze you. You will not be able to use your shield on them because of this, so just use the sword. In the final room, you will be pitted against a Stalfos. Defeat it and you will get the item that you needed to have for the Water Temple, the Iron Boots. Try to use them in the next room after hearing from Sheik, and make your way to King Zora. Use the Blue Flame on King Zora, and you will get the Blue Tunic. ----------------- 2.20 Water Temple ----------------- Now that you have the Iron Boots, it will be easier to make it through the water of the Water Temple. Sink down to the first floor, and enter the room on the right side. Once after manuvering through the passage, you will meet up with Princess Ruto once again. Princess Ruto will know her way around the dungeon, and is also angry at you for not being there to marry her..... anyway, she will lead you to the first place where you can change the flow of water. Put on the Kokiri Boots and make your way back to the third floor. Once you make it out of the water, look to the right to see the Triforce symbol. This is where you can play Zelda's Lullaby. Play Zelda's Lullaby in order to get the water lowered all the way down. Use Din's Fire in order to light both torches in the corners of the room, and enter the next room. Once you are in the next room, the door will lock, and you really need to prepare for this challenge. You got to fight three Stalfos at the same time. This is the toughest challenge you have to deal with at this point. Make sure that you attack carefully, and use your Hookshot to stun them at any opportunity given. Once they are all defeated, shoot at the center block on the wall with the Hookshot. This will give you a big chest, with the Dugeon Map. Go down to the first floor, with the water lowered. The torches there can now be lit. Use Din's Fire on the torches in order to light them. This will unlock the door. If you are low on your Magic Meter, then break the pots to try to get some of your meter replenished. After entering the unlocked room, defeat the Spike with the Hookshot. After that, you will have some company. Two Lizalfos will enter the scene. After eliminating them, a large chest will appear with a Compass inside. This will also raise some Hookshot Points around the Water Temple. Exit the room and climb onto one of the raised Hookshot Points. This will give you extra leverage in order to reach the next Hookshot Point. Use the Hookshot on the Hookshot Point that leads on the second floor. Pull out the Hookshot once again to reveal a Large Treasure Chest. This will contain the Longshot. Basically, the Longshot is an upgrade of the Hookshot. Go back to the main room, and put the Longshot to the test. Use the Longshot to pull yourself to the third floor middle structure. Then, use the Longshot again to make it to the next area where another Triforce mark is and raise the water to the highest point it can go. Put back on the Iron Boots and enter the water to make it to the second floor. You will need to switch between both the Kokiri and the Iron Boots here. Once you are next to the door, go into it and float to the top. Play the Song of Time at the highest point in order to make a Time Block appear. Jump on the Time Block and use Din's Fire in order to light the torches that are in the top corners of the room. A gate will open at the bottom floor of the room. Put on the Iron Boots and sink into the basement 1. Try to fall into the center of the room, and avoid the spikes at the bottom of the room. When you are in the basement, make your way through the maze of crates to the far corner of the room. Clomb on the brown steps and make then lower in the ground. This will reveal a Crystal Switch. Hit it with your Longshot in order to open a gate in the ceiling that will lead into a small room. Use the Longshot in order to make it to the room, then use it once again to reveal a small chest. There is a Small Key in that chest. THere is another Crystal Switch that is hidden in a crate, but this one will drop a Spke into the room. Ignore that one. Switch between the Kokiri Boots and the Iron Boots and make your way back to the main room. Enter the door that you entered to get into this room to get back to the main room. Make your way to the left side of the room and use the Small Key on the door in order to unlock it. Go into the next room. Slide down the incline onto the moving platform. Turn around and hit the Crystal Switch that is above the entrance in order to raise some Hookshot points out of the waterfall. Target the top-left Hookshot point and pull yourself to the waterfall. This will make you slide to the Hookshot point that is directly below you. Hit the left block that is on the wall with the Longshot in order to raise the top Hookshot point. Target it and climb to the top of this room. Fall into the shallow water below and prepare for another three Stalfos. Defeat them like the ones you did earlier, and the Hookshot Points will be raised throughout the room. Target the Hookshot point that is closest to the next room, and target the Hookshot point that is above the spikes in order to reach the door. Before entering the next room, it will be a good idea to equip some empty bottles and get the fairies from the breakable pots that are on the ledge. Target the other raised Hookshot point and climb over the nearest one to reach the ledge. This will look like a small model of the outside (like in the origional Ocarina of Time) with the same enemy. Go to the other door, then return to the center of the room. This battle will be the toughest one yet. You need to defeat Dark Link. Dark Link will know your every move (stating the obvious here, I know) and can defend against most of your attacks. Remain on the swordplay, without L-targeting. If you do, and end up trying to jab your sword, Dark Link will jump on it and attack you. Swing wildly at Dark Link in order to confuse him from knowing where the attacks are coming from. When you need to, use a Spin Attack in order to make Dark Link back off. Ten hits will defeat your Dark illusion, and the room will fade away. The door will unlock as well. The only place you can go in the next room is down, but you need to get the gate opened. Use the Longshot to hit the center block, and go through the hole to make it to the first floor. You will notice the raging river that has dangerous vortexes in this room. Lucky in this game, the Hookshot points are amongst the river meaning that all you need to do is make it onto them. Use the Longshot to hit the points and climb onto them. If you fall into the river, try to stop yourself near a Hookshot point. Falling into a vortex will place you on the second floor where you needed to jump in the water. Do not use the Longshot on the last Hookshot point. Jump to it instead, and proceed to the next room. Put on the Iron Boots and sink to the bottom of the whirlpool in the next room. You should see a passage underwater that can be reached by using your Longshot. Once in the passage, you will see another Hookshot point that will pull you out of the water and into a small air pocket. Use Din's Fire in order to light the torches in the top corners of the room. This will unlock the door to the next room. Go back into the whirlpool and keep the Iron Boots on. This will help you target the Hookshot point that is next to the unlocked door, and coninue onward. Jump to the floor below you and stand on top of the fountain. Target the Crystal Switch using the Longshot. Hitting it will make the fountain go up. When you reach the highest point, use Din's Fire in order to light the torches that are behind the gate. The gate will rise, allowing you to jump over to the chest that has the Boss Key inside. Put on the Iron Boots and go into the water that is behind the chest. Use the Longshot to progress up the underwater passage. Activate the switch to open the gate, then float to the surface. Climb onto the 3rd Floor ledge of the middle structure and pull yourself to the door near Callout 18 with the Longshot. Through the door, use your Longshot to hit the Crystal Switch above the door to the Boss. This will raise Hookshot points that you can use to get past the spikes. Open the door with the Boss Key and get ready for the Boss. Use the Longshot in order to progress up th underwater passage. Activate the switch in order to open the gate, and float to the surface. Go onto the third floor ledge on the middle structure and use the Longshot to make it to the other side. Once through the door. Use the Longshot to hit the Crystal switch that is above the door to the boss. This will make another Hookshot point raise, allowing you to get past the spikes by using it. Enter the next room to the boss. The boss is Morpha. To defeat Morpha, just wait until the water comes up and the Nucleus is going back and forth, then Longshot the Nucleus and hit it with your sword. Watch out for any other fake morpha's coming at you. If Morpha gets you then you will fly across the room. You have now defeated Morpha and unlocked Ruto as a sage. --------------------- 2.21 Kakariko Village --------------------- Once you exit the Water Temple, shoot an arrow at the sun. The sun must be rising. If you have done this correctly, then you will get the Fire Arrow. Go to Kakariko Village. Once you make it to Kakariko Village, you will go into a scene. You will see the town on fire, and you will see Sheik. After the ghost knocks you out, Sheik will explain what happened, and give you the Nocturne of Shadow. Go to the Temple of Time and return to the village as a child. Go to the Windmill, and play the Song of Storms. The water on the well will go down and you now have access to beneath the well. ----------------------- 2.22 Bottom of the Well ----------------------- In this place, you will need to get the Lens of Truth. Unlike in the origional Ocarina of Time, you will need to go through the majority of the well in order to get it. Once you go through the crawl space, defeat the enemies that stand in your way before entering the next room. Go to the back area of the main room to where the water is coming out. There is a crest of the Royal Family there (you know the one resembling the Triforce). Play Zelda's Lullaby next to it in order to open all four gates in the first basement. Notice the crystal switch that is in the right hand of the statue. Use the Fairy Slingshot to shoot it and drain all of the water. in the center area of the first basement. When you are in the center of the first basement, you will need to look out for the statue of the Wallmaster. When it is down defeat it and then get the treasure chest to get the Dungeon Map. Go back to the entrance and enter the crawlspace that is near the entrance where the water used to be. Go into it and enter the other side. You will need to defeat a Dead Hand in this room. The only thing is that you are not fighting for the Lens of Truth. You will be fighting for the Compass. Go next to one of the arms and let it grab you in order to get the Dead Hand to make an appearance. Shake free and find a safe spot to go to. Target it and wait until it gets close to you. Once it lowers its head, hit it with your sword. Repeat the process until it is defeated. Once the big chest appears, get the Compass. Before leaving the room, there will be one item that you will need. That is a Small Key. In order to get it, just Bomb the pile of bones that is next to the plants in the corner of the room. Go back into the main room and make your way down the right side of the corridor. Once you are at the end, make a right turn in order to find another crawl space. Do not go into it yet. Look into the statue and you will barely see it, but there is another crystal switch there. Shoot it with the Fairy Slingshot. to get the door unlocked. The next room will contain both a Floormaster and a Wallmaster. There is no need to fight them, so try to get past them and make it into the next room. You can fight them, but be careful not to fall into the holes. Keep an eye on the Shadow, and when you reach the door, unlock it and enter it. Bomb the pile of bones in order to reveal a hidden switch. Hit the switch to reveal access to a new floor. This is behind the chest where you got the map to. Go back through the previous room and make your way back into the room where the map was. Go into the newly-opened area to be in the second basement. Hit the switch in order to get a chest revealed in the third basement. The third basement will be a large area with Rolling Boulders, a Wallmaster, and some ReDead. You will only need to try to get to the chest that you just unveiled. Once you make it to the chest, that is when the ReDead will make their presense known. Make sure that you have your Ocarina ready, and play the Sun's Song. Once they are stunned, then charge up a spin attack and hit them with it, then play the Sun's Song again to stun them again. Keep this us until they are all defeated. Get the Lens of Truth from the big chest, then make your way to the ladder that is next to the green pool, and go back up to the first basement. Exit the Bottom of the Well, then become an Adult again to tackle the Shadow Temple. ------------------ 2.23 Shadow Temple ------------------ Look at all the skulls that are on the pedestals. Use the Lens of Truth to find the one that does not disappear. This will be the only real skull. Rotate the statue and make sure that the beak points to the real skull, and the gate that is in the mouth will open. Make sure that you do not push too far, or a trap door will open, and you will need to start the dungeon over. Make sure that you have Fire Arrows, or you will not be able to advance any further in this dungeon. Equip the Fire Arrows and quickly light both torches that are across the way. A block will appear right in front of you. This will allow you to make your way into the mouth. Follow the hallway down. When you are at the end of the hall, you will see an intersection that is guarded by a Beamos. Do not waste time trying to defeat the thing, instead, use the Lens of Truth to reveal a fake wall on the right side of the intersection. Go past the Beamos and through that wall. You will end up locked inside the room with two Gibdos. Play the Sun's Song in order to stun them, and attack them from behind. Defeating both of them will unlock the door and reveal a small chest with a Small Key as the contents. Go back into the intersection and go straight into the room across from the one you came from. YOu will once again be locked inside. You will notice a giant spinning blade that takes up the majority of the room. The objective here is to get all of the Silver Rupees and get the door unlocked. In order to avoid the blades while collecting the Silver Rupees in the center of the room, simply duck. Use the Longshot on the Skulltulas that are guarding the other Silver Rupees. The unlocked door will contain another Skulltula as well as a Large Chest with the Map inside. Defeat the Skulltula in order to unlock the door that you came and get the Map as well. Before you leave this room, examine the nook that is in the right side of the room with the Lens of Truth. The face wall will mention a ferry, but right now, all you will be able to see is a hole that leads to the second basement. Use the Lens of Truth below in order to see the invisible Skulltula and a small chest that contains another Small Key. You will see the ferry through the grating, the same one that the wall mentioned. Go back to the first room that had the rotating statue, Use the Lens of Truth to reveal a passage that leads to another area of the Shadow Temple. Bomb the wall in order to get through and use the Small Key to unlock the door. Use the Lens of Truth in order to help you make sense of the next room. Go into the door on the right side of the room. You will be caught up in a fight against some ReDeads. Defeat them by alternating between the Sun's Song and performing the Spin attacks as quckly as you can. The door will unlock after defeating them, and a chest will appear with the Compass inside. Look through the Lens of Truth in the previous room that you had to enter before entering the room with the ReDead to see a Block of Time literally blocking the way. Play the Song of Time to remove the block and go into the next room. This will will be the same as the last room, with the exception of three Eye Switches that are on the wall to the left. The Lens of Truth will show that your progress is once again stopped by a block that is in front of the door. Two of the three Eye Switches will shoot homing flames at you, and breakable pots will come at you as well. You will need to be careful here. Shot an arrow in the middle eye and the block will be removed for you to continue on. This will be a reunion of sorts with the enemy. This is the same enemy that was in the Kakariko Well. Let one of the arms grab you to make the Dead Hand appear. Wait for it to get close to you and drop it's head before striking. Repeat this process until it is defeated. You will get the Hover Boots if you done this right. Go back to the intersection that has the Beamos. This time, use Bombs in order to defeat the Beamos. Two explosions will defeat it, butonly when the eye is open. Bomb the wall in order to get a locked door. Use the Small Key to go through the door to the lower floor. When you are in the hallway, sneak past the Beamos, and roll past the spikes and be careful of the Skulltula. Make sure that you time the rolls through the guillotines and past the final Beamos in order to reach the large room that is on the lower floor. You will need to time your rolls once gaain under the first two guillotines, and stop before going under the third one. Two Beamos will be guarding the far platform which you need to be on. Aim a Fire Arrow at the Bomb Flower that is between them and blow it up. Repeat this when they open their eyes again to destroy both Beamos. Roll under the guillotine and jump onto the platform where the Beamos were to. Look to the left of the platform to see a frozen eye. There is more to it then meets the eye. Use the Lens of Truth to see another platform that is invisible in the way. Jump on it and go to the edge of the frozen eye. Use a Fire Arrow on it to reveal a platform on the other side of the room. Keep going (in other words, ignore that new platform for now) past the eye and into the next room. There are spinning blades in this room, but you will not be able to see them without using the Lens of Truth. Make sure that you use the Lens of Truth in order to see the blades and help you dodge them. You will need to collect the Silver Rupees in this room, making sure to dodge the blades of course. Defeat the Like Like with a Fire Arrow and play the Song of Time in order to reveal a Time Block. This will get you access to collect the floating Silver Rupee. Get all the Silver Rupees in order to unlock the small room in this room. Go inside the small room, and use the Lens of Truth to reveal a small chest that is invisible. This will be next to the one you can see. Open the invisible chest to get a Small Key. The Beamos that you destroyed earlier will be back, so make sure that you destroy them the same way you did before. Beyond the platform, you will see some clear blocks that appeared after activating the Eye Switch just awhile ago. Follow that path to a Beamos with two circling spikes. Take out the Beamos with a Bomb, and collect the Silver Rupees that you see on the ground. Face the Crystal Switch and stand right between the two paths of rotating spikes. Use the Longshot on the Hookshot point that is above in order to get the last two Silver Rupees. A small chest will appear. Swing the sword through the gate in order to unlock it, and enter the next room. There is a movable block which is visible on the right side of the room with the Lens of Truth. Pull it out of the fake wall, and push it under the falling spike platforms until they are both prevented from hitting the ground. Stop push it at this point, and move to the other side of the block. Get the small chest that is in the cell, and then pull the block as far as you are able to. Climb onto the block in order to reach the ledges that are above. One side will have a small chest and a switch that will drop a small chest on the other ledge. Like in the origional Ocarina of Time, you can do the same thing in order to reach the other ledge. Get the Small Key in the chest, and go back into the previous room. Take the narrow path to the guillotine that is on the left. There will be some invisible moving platforms that you will be able to see using the Lens of Truth. Equip the Hover Boots and roll underneath the guillotine onto the first invisible platform. Walk to the next invisible platform as it touches the first one. You will really need to test the Hover Boots now. Make sure that you line yourself up with the locked door, and when it is right in front of you, go towards it. If you done it right, you will make it juat far enough to grab the ledge with your hands. Unlock the door and enter the next room. Get all the Silver Rupees in order to reveal some clear blocks to help you reach the locked door and unlock the side door. You will need the Lens of Truth in order to see the hidden spikes that are around the floor. You will also need it to see the Hookshot Points that are in this room. Defeat the Two ReDead by playing the Sun's SOng and attacking them, revealing a small chest. Next, work on the Silver Rupees. You will need to target a Hookshot point for most of the Silver Rupees and fall to them. In order to do it right, however, you will need to do it in the right spot. Defeat the two Stalfos in the side room to get another small chest revealed. Use the Longshot in order to reach the middle clear block, and use the Hover Boots to reach the locked door. Put on the Iron Boots in the hallway or you will get caught by the fans and they will blow you away. Use the Longshot in order to get across the gap and coninue going to the room straight ahead. Once inside, play the Sun's Song in order to stun the ReDead and restore some of your Magic Meter. Use the Lens of Truth in order to see the hidden chest containing a Small Key. The face that is on the wall will indicate where you need to go next. Go back to the room with the fans and use the Lens of Truth to see a passage to the right side of the wall. In order to reach that gap, you will need to use the Hover Boots. Keep the Iron Boots on until you can line yourself up with the secret passage. This way, the fans will not blow you over the edge while you are getting ready. Once you are ready, put on the Hover Boots and make your way across. If the fans are moving (which is better when crossing) then it is an added bonus. Defeat the Gibdos that are in this room by using the Sun's Song to stun them, then attack them in their backs. This will reveal one of the two chests that are in this room. The other one is invisible, and you will need to use the Lens of Truth in order to find it. After cleaning this room out, unlock the door and enter the next room. Pull the block away from the wall, and line it up with the track that is on the floor. Push it inro the spot just under the ladder. Climb on the block in order to reach the bottom of the ladder. Climb the ladder, then go on the ship. Play Zelda's Lullaby on the Royal Crest in order to set the ship moving forward. While the trip is moving, you will be attacked by Two Stalfos. Fight them, and pay attention to when it hits the end of the trip, so that you can jump off right before the ship sinks. After the ship is gone, and you made it back on the other side, aim a Fire Arrow over the gap and at the BOmb Flowers that are surrounding the pillars in order to make them collapse. This as Ocarina of Time gamers know, will create another bridge to cross over on. Go to the other side, and play the Song of Time in order to remove the Time Block. Activate the Eye Swich to get the Hookshot points raised. Aim for the Hookshot point that is above on the ledge nearby. There is a switch there that will open the locked door. Go back over the bridge and enter the door. Once you are in the next room, use the Lens of Truth in order to reveal some invisible walls in a maze. There are two unlocked doors, and one locked door. Avoid the Blue Bubbles and take care of the Like Like via Fire Arrow. You will need to turn the Lens of Truth back on afterwards. Go to the left room from the door you came from. In this room, you will need to use the Lens of Truth to reveal the Dead Hand. The only thing you will see is the Shadow. Bomb the Shadow in order to scare the Dead Hand to the surface, and defeat it to get a small chest. Enter the maze again, and go to the room on the left of this one. Go to the top of this room, and pick the Bomb Flowers. Throw them into the rotating skulls as they come near you. Destroy all three of them in order to get a big Rupee bonus. Go down there and get all the Rupees, and after that check near the wall. Make sure that you get the Small Key that is sitting on the ground. Enter the maze once again and enter the locked door to the left of this one. When in the next room, the wall of spikes will start to move and close in on you. They are made of wood, which can be made into firewood to keep you warm for a bit. Use Din's Fire on them to burn them down, and get the chests in this room. The blue one will have the Boss Key inside it. Make sure that you watch out for the Fire Keese. Go back to the room with the bridge you created. The Lens of Truth will reveal platforms leading to the Boss Key Door. You will need to use the Hover Boots to cross some of the distances, but since the platforms are so thin, keep your Kokiri Boots on until you need to use the Hover Boots. This should prevent you from sliding off an edge. When you make it into the room that is on the other side of the bridge, use the Lens of Truth in order to reveal the platforms that leads to the Boss Key door. You will need to use the Hover Boots in order to cross some distances, but because of the thin platforms, you will need to make sure that you keep the Kokiri Boots on until you need the Hover Boots. This should help prevent you from sliding off one of the edges. After making it to the Boss door, open it and prepare for the boss. To defeat Bongo Bongo just hit his hands first with Arrows. Try not to get hit by his hands, or you will lose a good amount of hearts. Once you hit both of his Hands, then hit his Eye with an Arrow, then hit his eye with a sword. You have now defeated Bongo Bongo and unlocked Impa as a sage. ------------------------- 2.24 Lon Lon Ranch Part 2 ------------------------- A lot has change in 7 years. Talon was kicked out of Lon Lon Ranch because he was lazy. Ingo, his servant 7 years ago, is now in charge. Malon is his servant. Talon now lives in Kakariko Village. Back to what you have to do. There are 2 requirements you need before you reach this part. Rupees (and lots of them), and Epona's Song. If you do not have that song, then go back to Lon Lon Ranch Part 1. Go to Ingo, and talk to him. He will let you ride the horses. Once inside the pen, play Epona's Song. Epona will come to you. Get on her and ride around for a minute. Once that minute is up, pay some more money and ride Epona again. This time Talk to Ingo. Ingo will challenge you to a friendly race. Let's say 50 rupees. Race around the track once and beat him. We will let you know this is not easy to do. If you know what you are doing, then it is easy. Once you have beat him once, he challenges you to another race. This time, it is 50 of your Rupees if Ingo wins, and Epona if you win. If you fail this, get some more Rupees. You will have to challenge him from the race beginning again. After Beating Ingo twice, he lets you keep the horse. The only thing is he locks the gate preventing you from escape. This is the easiest part of this section. Use the horse and hit the cuccos. While the cuccos are chasing you, but cannot get you making you safe. Jump the wall and make our exit from Lon Lon Ranch. Alternatly, get some speed, and then jump the wall. You have then saved Lon Lon Ranch from evil. ----------------------------- 2.25 Gerudo Fortress Sneak In ----------------------------- Once you either jumped with the horse, or longshoted over to the other side of the bridge. After talking to the Carpenter, go to Gerudo Fortress. You will have to use your best sneak in abilities here, because if you get caught then you will by thrown in jail. It is easy to get out, and will be explained later. Once you see one of the carpenters, then you must try to free them. You will have to fight the female guards. Watch out for there spinning attack. That could land you in jail. Which brings us to the jail part. Use your longshot to get out of jail. Then you can continue to free the carpenters. Your prize for freeing the carpenters is a lifetime membership to join the thieves. --------------------------- 2.26 Gerudo Training Ground --------------------------- You will need to pay in order to get in here, however, the item is worth admission. In order to open the locked doors, you will need to hit the eye switch with an arrow, then use Din's Fire on the other two torches to open both the left and right doors. Enter the right door when this is done. The next room is where you will need to defeat all of the enemies within a minute. The list is Dodongos, Lizalfos, Dinalfos, and Armos. Make sure that you preform Jumping attacks, as well as spinning attacks to get more powerful hits, and hitting multiple enemies. Defeating all the enemies within the time limit will get you a Small Key. Use it to enter the next room. You will need to get the six Silver Rupees in the next room in order to get the door unlocked. This will definitly not be easy, because there is a lot of fire surrounding the platforms. You will need to get this all in sections in order to complete it right. For starters, light the torch with a Fire Arrow in order to get the fire to cool off fot a bit. Get the first three Silver Rupees, then go back towards the closest platform to the torch. Make sure that you take out the Hover Boots, and light the torch once again. Hover over to the closest pillar that contains a Silver Rupee on it. Just be careful of the Red Bubbles. Hover over to the next two Silver Rupees, and then go back to the pillar that is next to the torch. Make sure that you do it quickly. Light the torch one more time, and go for the final Silver Rupee. This will unlock the door allowing you to go through it. Make sure that you have on your Zora Tunic and when you get a chance to, the Iron Boots in this next room. Defeat the Bari using the Long Shot, and then use the Fire Arrow on the cobweb. Now put on the Iron Boots and go into the water. You will end up seeing a Shell Blade, and some Stingers underwater. Use the Longshot in order to defeat all of these enemies. You will need to collect more Silver Rupees here. Make sure that you line yourself up with the Hookshot points before using the Longshot on them. Once it is aligned right, take use the Longshot to get the Silver Rupees. Swim for some as well to get them. Once all the Silver Rupees are gone, then get the chest to get a Small Key. Go back into the first room, and go into the left door. You will have another minute to defeat one enemy this time. This time the enemy is an Iron Knuckle. In order to defeat it under a minute, you will need to lure the Iron Knuckle onto solid ground and if you are on sand, back flip to avoid getting hit. Defeat it by dodging it's attack and attack it right away. When you have defeated it in under a minute, a chest will come out, and you will be able to go into the next room. This next area will require you to get the Silver Rupees within 1:30. There are five of these, and they will not be easy to get. Take two lefts and defeat the Freezard, then grab the Silver Rupee that it was hiding. Next, take the path up, and go to the right. Use the Longshot to get past the wall of fire and then take two more lefts to get the second Silver Rupee past the Stalagmites. Follow the path down to the hole. Hang off the edge in order to get the third SIlver Rupee, and pull yourself back up. For the fourth one, Line up your Longshot with the Hokshot point and the SIlver Rupee that is in the middle, then use it to not only get over the wall of flames, but to get the Silver Rupee as well. For the final one, go into the center of the room, and line up your Longshot to get it. Make sure that you watch out for the Wallmaster here. After getting all of the Rupees, and the door unlocked, make your way into the next challenge. The next challenge will not be an easy one as well. You will have a minute to defeat two Stalfos as well as three Skulltulas. Take out the first Skulltula with the Longshot, then try to go against the two Stalfos. Make sure that you attack them right after they attacked and missed you to avoid prolonging the fight, and try to dodge, not block the attacks. Also, be in a safe area to avoid the Skulltulas, after defeating both Stalfos, defeat the final two Skulltulas. If you have done it right, and it is under a minute, then you will get a small chest revealed. Get the chest. Make sure that you take out the Lens of Truth for this part. While still in the same room, use the Lens of Truth in order to reveal a secret passage that is in the right wall. In order to reach the wall, play the Song of Time to get the Time Block to appear. Fill up an empty bottle with Blue Fire and then go up on the Time Block to the red ice. Use the Blure Fire on it. Just a little side note, there is a giant block in this room, however, in order to get it, you will need an item that you can get in the Spirit Temple. Jump to the rotating platform that is below. It will revolve around the statue, and as it does, shoot each eye. In order to be successful, then you will need to do this in one rotation. Once all the eyes are red, a small chest will make an appearance in this room. Locate the crystal switch within the fire and then use an arrow to activate it, This will unlock the door that is, above you for later. Exit this room using the door that is below. This will be the final fight that you will need to take on. This room will feature an Iron Knuckle, and two Torch Slugs. Defeat the Torch Slugs first, then concentrate on the Iron Knuckle. Basically, bring it to life, then quickly defeat it. Once this is done right, then the two doors will open and a small chest will be revealed. Activate the crystal switch that is above one of the doors with an arrow, and get the small chest to get a Small Key. After exiting this room, and entering the next, you will be back in the room with the fire. Use the Megaton Hammer on the rusted switch in order to reveal a Hookshot Point on the far higher platform. Use the Longshot to get access to that platform, then continue onward. The next room you enter will be a gated maze. In order to go through this, you will need to just simply go through the doors. Make sure that you are use the Lens of truth when needed. Go around each door in a clockwise path while getting every chest that is along the way. When you make it past the third door, use the Lens of Truth to find a hole in the ceiling and climb it to get the chest. Go back down and continue along the path again. The three Small Keys will be used at the end of the maze. Once you reached the end of the maze in Ocarina of Time there was a Big Chest there. This time, there will be a switch there. Hit it with the Megaton Hammer (it's rusted) and you will have revealed where the chest is. Make your way back to the room where you shot the four eyes from the statues that you hit, and make your way to the door that you unlocked a bit earlier. Go towards the big treasure chest, then open it. You now have the Ice Arrows. ---------------------- 2.27 Haunted Wasteland ---------------------- To get to the Desert Colossus, you must first pass 3 obsticles in the Haunted Wasteland. They are the River of Sand, the Flag Poles, and the Poe Guide. To get past the first obsticle just Longshot to the box on the other side. The second obsticle is self explanitory. For the third obsticle, just follow the poe guide. He will lead you to the Desert Colossus. Watch out for the Leevers. Do not attack them; this will only get you lost. -------------------- 2.28 Desert Colossus -------------------- Once at the Desert Colossus, go next to the two palm trees. Use a bomb to blow up the wall, and you will have Nayru's Love. Go to the Spirit Temple. You do not have the equipment that is needed to go on past the point on the right. On the left, there is a hole where a child and crawl. Exit the Temple, and you will learn the Requiem of Spirit. Go back to the Temple og Time and return to the Spirit as a child. -------------------------- 2.29 Spirit Temple (Child) -------------------------- You will see Nabooru standing in front of the crawlspace. She will ask you a few questions. Here are the answers to them; nothing, you hate Ganondorf, and finally, offer your assistants in getting the Silver Gauntlets. You will need to get one of the hidden Small Keys that are inside the first room of this temple before entering the crawlspace. If you never got the key as an adult (which is recommended), then check behind one of the statues to find an Eye Switch. If there is a boulder that is hiding the swithc, then return to this room as an adult and use the Megaton Hammer on the giant rock. Activate the switch in order to dorp a small chest on the floor. Get the Small Key and enter the crawlspace. If you are an adult after using the Megaton Hammer on the boulder, then return to the present (Child Link) and go through the crawlspace. In order to defeat the Torch Slugs, you will need to get them on the defense using one of two methods. The first is by stunning them with a Deku Nut, and the second is back striking them with a jump attack. Once the Torch Slugs are gray, then use a few more jumping attacks to get rid of them. This will unlock the two doors that are in this room. Hit the Eye Switch with the Fairy Slingshot in order to stop the flames that are surrounding the Hearts. Get them if you need them, then go int he right door. Stun the Gibdos with the Sun's Song, and attack them fron behind to defeat it (like in the Shadow Temple). Pull the gravestone back in order to reveal a switch. Hit the switch, and the gate will open on the other side of the chasm. Use a Bombchu in order to destroy the boulder that is across the way to uncover an Eye Switch. In order to get the targeting to be perfect, just simply grab the gravestone that is behind you, and let go. Push down on the joystick in order to turn around, and press L in order to change view. This should line you up perfectly for it. Once you have the Eye Switch in sight, hit it with the Fairy Slingshot in order to reveal the clear blocks. THis will allor you to cross the chasm, and make it to the other side of the room. Cross the chasm and once again Play the Sun's Song. This will stun two more Gibdos, which you can eliminate by attacking them in the back. Once they are defeated, you will have access to the next room. Jump onto the rotating platform, and prepare for the toughest fight as Child Link. This will be against a Stalfos, which defeating it will open the next door, and extinguish the flames in the room. try to get an easy win by forcing the Stalfos to fall of the edge into the chasm. Defeat all of the Keese that are in the room before they turn into Fire Keese, and pull the gravestone back in order to reveal another switch. Step on it to make the gate drop to create a bridge to cross. An Anubis will wait for you neat the large chest, Use DIn's Fire in order to defeat it with one shot. When all of the enemies in this room are taken care of, a small chest containing a Small Key will be revealed. Get the Small Key, and open the large chest to get the Dungeon Map. Go to the next room. You will end up in the room where you unlocked the two doors earlier. Between the doors is a crawlspace, but it is blocked by a boulder. Send a Bombchu inside to clear the boulder away and enter the crawlspace. You will notice that you have been in this room before, because this is the room that you came in from the first room with Nabooru. There is a crawlspace that is between the doors, but you cannot enter it yet because it is blocked by a boulder. Send a Bombchu inside it in order to clear the boulder away, then enter the crawlspace. Because you cannot use the Megaton Hammer as a child, ignore the rusted switch until you come back here as an adult. In the next room, activate the Crystal Switch in order to open the gate that is above. A Like Like will come from nowhere, and it can be hard to dodge the attacks in a small room. You might lose your shield in the process as well. Take out the Like Like by using Din's Fire, and get the Shield if you lost it again. Climb the wall to make it to the second floor. Defeat the Baby Dodongos and the Beamos in order ot reveal a small chest. The Crystal Switch in this room will open the gate for when you come here as an adult. Send a Bombchu up the rocky wall in order to get rid of the boulders that are loose. This will bring sunshine into the room and activate the sun icon on the floor. This will reveal another small chest. This one, like the gate, you cannot reach it until you are an adult. You needed to get the Small Key earlier for this room, so unlock the door and continue. You see the gigantic statue of the Desert Colosus that sits in this room. You will need to get a lot accomplish in this room, which might seem overwhelming, but keep in mind that you will be coming back here as an adult. Drop to the bottom and activate the Eye Switch in order to reveal a large chest that is in front of the Desert Colossus. The Compass is inside. Between the two sets of stairs is a locked door. Above the door is an Eye Switch that is frozen. Use Din's Fire in order to melt the ice and activate the Eye switch. Go into the newly unlocked door. This room might look like a dead end at first, but trust the Map and the Compass in order to find a chest. Look in the chasm that is at the end of the passage in order to find another Eye Switch. Hit that Eye Switch with the Fairy Slingshot in order to get a small chest which contains a Small Key to drop. Go back to the previous room with the Desert Colossus Statue. Once you are back in the room, go back to the door where you origionally entered the room. There is a nearby Time Block with a Small Crate on top of it. Go halfway up the first set of stirs and line yourself up (backwards) with the Time Block. Hold L and press down on the joystick and A in order to do a backflip. YOu should land on the Time Block. Pick up the crate and jump back over the railing to the beginning of the stairs. Carry that small crate you just picked up straight to the third floor of the stairs. You will notice the locked door at the top. Put down the crate and play the Song of Time. This will reveal another Time Block. Pick the small crate back up and jump up to the large Time Block. Next, jump to the hand of the Desert Colossus, and place the crate on the blue switch in order to hold open the door. This is the one that you passed earlier. You will be finished this room as a child, so go through the next room. Dodge the flames that are in the passage leading to the next room. Once you enter the room, you will be locked inside. There is a window that is on the far side of the room that will let the sun shine on a spot on the floor. You shouls also notice five movable blocks with a symbol of the sun on them. Hoever, you will only need to concentrate on two of them. Climb over the middle wall in order to get to the sunny part of the room. You will find some lower spots along the walls that you will be able to use to get over the walls. You could also climb on movable blocks as well. The Crystal Switch in the middle of the room will deactivate the flames. You will not need to worry about turning off the flames though. Move the first block that is in the middle of the room towards the sunlight to open both doors. Move the block next to it in order to reveal a small treasure chest. Climb the outer ledge in order to reach the door to the next room. Climb the stairs and use the final Small Key that you have to unlock the door that leads to the next room. I stand corrected about the hardest fight as Child Link. This is the hardest fight as Child Link in this game at this point. You will need to fight an Iron Knuckle. by waiting for it to attack you, then strike back at it with an attack of your own. Keep doing this process until it is defeated. The final door will be unlocked. The final door that you entered will lead you to the ledge outside. As you go towards it, you will see the owl one last time. He will give you a tip for your future visit in the Spirit Temple. Once the owl is gone, get the Silver Gauntlets from the Large Treasure Chest, then get ready to watch the small cutscene where Nabooru gets kidnapped. -------------------------- 2.30 Spirit Temple (Adult) -------------------------- As you already know, you will not be able to enter the crawlspace as an adult, a fountain will block the other passage. Make sure that you look up at the boulder that is stuck in the ceiling. Use a Bombchu up the wall in order to destroy that boulder and reveal a hole in the ceiling along with a Hookshot point revealed. Use the Longshot to pull yourself up into the above room. You are now able to wear the Silver Gauntlets that you found as a child, so you can push the giant movable blocks that you find in this room. Push them until they fall into place, which will allow you to get access to the room with the model of the Desert Colossus statue. Enter the door that is on the second floor left side to enter the next room. This is the same room that you had to enter when you were a child in the Spirit Temple, which you should remember that you were able to reveal a small chest just by sending a Bombchu to destroy the boulder wall with ease. You were not able to reach it as a child, however, you now can reach it as an adult because you can use the Longshot to get it. Target the Longshot in front of the small chest and pull yourself up towards it. You will get a Small Key. Activate the Crystal Switch in order to open the gate that leads to the first floor. Drop down there and go through the door. Now that you are an adult, you are able to hit the rusted switch with the Megaton Hammer. A chest will fall in the room that is beyond the crawlspace, and you cannot get it as an adult. Return to get it later as a child because you will want to collect all of the GOld Skulltulas for the Spirit Temple. In order to reach the stairs on the right side of the Desert Colossus room, you will need to climb the staircase until you see a torch a is lit. Target either lit torch or the Floormaster with the Longshot and pull yourself across to the otherside. You can get two chests from there. At the top of that staircase, use the Lens of Truth in order to locate a small chest that is on the upper right ledge. Use the Longshot in order to latch onto the chest and pull yourself over to it. Form the ledge, jump to the hand of the statue, and play Zelda's Lullaby in order to drop another small chest. This will be on the bottom floor. Be careful of the Wallmaster, and get the chest. Go back to the third floor, on the other side of the stairs the ones you did not enter the door yet, and enter the locked door. Use your Longshot in order to get over the flames. Defeat all four Beamos that are in this room in order to reveal a small chest and unlock the door that you just entered from. The closest Beamos will onlt take up one Bomb, and the rest will require two Bombs to detonate only when their eyes are open. Still in the same room, play the Song of Time next to higher Time Block. The lower block that is on the far side of the room will end up disappearing, revealing a blue switch. The higher Time Block will also be replaced by two new Time Blocks. The one that is at the top will have a crate on it. Carefully cross the room and stand next to the blue switch. Play the Song of TIme once again. The smaller Tiem block that is below on the other side will disappear, and the Time Block that is over on the blue switch will once again reappear. Cross the room and for the third time, play the Song of Time next to the Time Block with the crate on it. The Time Block that you are making a magic trick out of will once again disappear, and the small Time Block will once again reappear with the crate on it. Pick up the crate and place it on the blue switch. This will keep the door unlocked so you can enter the next room. Defeat the two Dinalfos that fall into this room. Be careful of the small chest in this room; it is a trap. Opening it will cause cold air to come out, and the result is that you will be forzen temporarily. Hit the small chest with your sword in order to unlock one of the doors and enter that door. While on the staircase, use the Lens of Truth in order to locate the invisible Floormaster. Defeat it in order to unlock the door that leads to the next room. Like in the last visit to the Spirit Temple, you will need to fight another Iron Knuckle that is guarding the treasure. Swipe at it in order to brin it to life, and backflip when it swings at you. Retaliate at it using jumping attacks. Try to get the Iron Knuckle next to the pillars so that it destroys them revealing Hearts. Once th Iron Knuckle is defeated, the door will be unlocked. Go outside so you can get the Mirror Shield from the large chest that is on the other ledge. Go back to the room where you had to defeat the Dinalfos, and play the Song of Time in order to remove the Time Block. Make sure that you have the Mirror Shield equipped so that you can use it in this room. Use R in order to aim the reflection that the Mirror Shield will bring to the sun symbol that is on the wall. This will activate that sun symbol and unlock the door to the next room. Play the Song of Time once again in order to remove the Time Block from the doorway, and go into the next room. Play the Sun's Song in order to sun the Gibdo, and attack it's back. Once the room is empty, open the colored-chest to get the Boss Key. Go back to the Desert Colossus room. There are three unlit torches here that are on pedestals and are surrounding the Desert Colossus. You will need to quickly light all three torches in order to unlock unlock the door to the next room you need to enter. Stand on the steps near the middle torch in order to get a good viewpoint for all three torches, and then use Fire Arrows to light them. Try to get the side torches first, and then the middle one. All three torches must be burning at the same time, so if aiming the thing is being difficult for you, then check on the other torches to make sure that they never gone out. Use the Longshot in order ro rech the stairs and enter the newly unlocked door on the second floor. There are some Wallmasters in this room, and it will be difficult to fight the Stalfos at the same time. eep dodging and jumping, and you should not have a problem defeating the two Stalfos first. It is also possible to release more Wallmasters if your Mirror Shield reflects on any of the symbols on the wall, so make sure that you switch back to the Hylian Shield for the two Stalfos. Once the Stalfos are defeated, the use the Mirror Shield to reflect the sunlight and burn sun symbols that are on the wall. This will release all the remaining Wallmasters. Defeat them un order to unlock the gate, and go back down to the first floor. Go past the move spikes and into the next room. You will have a choice of one of three ways to go from here. The locked door will require an extra Small Key which was revealed earlier in this section. Another path will lead back to the start, but the founatain will block that way. That leaves only one room, so enter that room first, then go back to the previous room when done. Once you walk into the room that was really your only choice, you will be locked in. Jump into the pit and fight the Leevers that surface. After defeating enough of them, you will need to fight a larger blue Leever will make an appearence. Defeat it in order to reveal a small chest. Use the Longshot to rech the chest, and play Zelda's Lullaby on the Royal Crest in order to unlock the door. When you visited the Spirit Temple as a child, you noticed the Silver Rupees that were in the first room, and the rest behind the fountain. Now you can explore more of the Spirit Temple, and you can enter the room that is on the other side of the fountain You will notice the rest of the Silver Rupees in this room. Get two of the Rupees, and destroy the boulder with the Megaton Hammer, then hit the rusty switch. Once the founatain lowers, get the Silver Rupee in the founatain, and get the other two that are in the first room next to the cobra statues. The last small chest that is hidden in this room will fall, which contains a Small Key. Use the Longshot in order to reach the hole above and go back to the room where you needed to fight the four Beamos. Use the Small Key that you just got to unlock the last door in the room. You will need to climb the wall that has moving surfaces. Before starting this, take out all the Fire Keese that are above in order to keep them from attacking you as you climb. Climb up a stationary wall that is past two moving walls and another stationary wall. The best way to get past this is to wait on the edge of a stationary way until the moving wall makes a comeback to you. Climb up the moving wall, and wait as the wall will move twice. COntinue going up the wall and climb to the next stationary wall. Concentrate on getting the Silver Rupees in order to unlock the door that is above, and make your way to the top. When you are in the next room, play Zelda's Lullaby on the Royal Crest in order to unlock the door on your left. The front door that is in front of you will lead you into a room with Gold Skulltulas in it. You will be able to find a Small Key that in order to enter this room by using the Lens of Truth in the next room. Go into the next room on the left, and destroy the crates to uncover a rusty switch. Hit the switch using the Megaton Hammer in order to unlock the nearby doors. One of the doorways will remain blocked by iron bars, so just go through the other door. Once in the next room, take out the Green Bubbles and the Dinalfos. Notice the two cobra mirrors that are in this area, and one of which is engulfed within flames. Use the Mirror Shield in order to reflect the sunlight on the sun symbol. This will get rid of the flames that surround the cobra mirror for a limited time only. Grab the handle on this mirror and rotate it so that it will faces the large mirror that is through the bars. Move the other cobra mirror so that it will face the other mirror with the flames around it. This will sned a beam to the large mirror and over the elevator. Stand on the elevator and use the Mirror Shield in order to direct the sunlight on the sun symbol. This will send you down through the floor to the familiar Desert Colossus statue room. Use the Mirror Shield in order to aim the sunlight on the face of the Desert Colossus, while watching out for the Wallmaster's shadow. The face will break apart, which will reveal a door behind it. Use the Longshot in order to pull yourself onto the newly exposed door. Enter the next room with the Boss Key. You will be greeted in the next room by both Koume and Kotake, the same two witches that you saw outside the Spirit Temple as a child. They will end up sending an Iron Knuckle after you to defeat you. Defeat it the same way you did the one earlier in this temple, and then the armor falls off, you will notice Nabooru inside it. You managed to free her from the brainwashed spell that the two sorceress sisters had on her. They will return once again and take Nabooru with them once again. Enter the next room in order to save her. Koume and Kotake make up the boss. The bosses name is Twinrova. One part of Twinrova is Fire, and the other part is Ice. This part is self-explainitory, but hard. Just deflect the Fire or the Ice toward the other sister. Keep on eye on both of them because one could attack when you least expect it. Once you have defeated the first half of Twinrova, they decide to use their Double Trouble Attack. They are now one. Use the Mirror Shield to obsorb the Fire or Ice. After the shield obsorbs the Fire or Ice 3 times, then keep holding the shield out. The Fire or Ice or go back at her. Go and attack her with your sword. Be careful about what she throws at you. Twinrova might throw Fire if you still have Ice contained in the shield. You have now defeated Twinrova, and unlocked Nabooru as a sage. -------------------------- 2.31 Temple of Time Part 2 -------------------------- Once you have returned to the Temple of Time, you meet up with Sheik. He explains everything to you. You find out that Ganondorf holds the Triforce of Power, and you hold the Triforce of Courage. The third person, the one who holds the Triforce of Wisdom is Sheik, or as he is really known as, Princess Zelda. Before Zelda is taken away by Ganondorf, you get the Arrow of Light. --------------------------- 2.32 Ganon's Castle: Spirit --------------------------- You will need to gain entrance in before actually breaking the barriers. In order to do this, you will need to defeat two Armos and an Iron Knuckle. Defeat the Iron Knuckle first, so that you can get the tough one out of the way. Once it is defeated, then concentrate on the Armos duo by defeating them before they gets off their pedestals. Once they are all defeated, then you can enter the Castle. Go left of the castle and enter the Spirit Medallion first. Once you are inside the first room. Defeat the Torch Slug and the Keese that are in that room. Activate the Eye Switch at the top of the door in order to get an Iron Knuckle into the battle. Lure the Iron Knuckle near the structure that is in the middle of the room before you defeat it. The Iron Knucle will destroy it to reveal a Rusty Switch. After defeating the Iron Knuckle, then hit the switch with the Megaton Hammer, and go into the next room. Take out the Green Bubbles that are in this room in order to give yourself some breathing room and complete this room. Send a Bombchu through the hole that is on top of the bars to get it to go towards the crystal switch. This will open the gate and allow to enter the next room. You will need to take out the ReDead and the Gibdo first before you can do anything else. Play the Sun's Song in order to stun them so you can eliminate them. Once you have defeated them, shoot a Fire Arrow into the ceiling at the Cobweb. This will open up some sunlight into the room. You will need to use it on the sun symbols that surround the room. Three of these will give you some Small Treasure Chests, and one of them will have a Small Key inside. Another one will give you a Wallmaster to deal with. The final one will give you an item you need in here. They are the Golden Gauntlets. Get them and enter the next room. Shoot a Light Arrow at the barrier after getting any of the pots that are in this room. This will break the Spirit Barrier meaning one of six has been broken. After getting the Golden Gauntlets, go outside, and lift the marble block that is located where the other Great Fairy was to in the past. This will be another Great Fairy, which will give you extra defense power. This will be needed for Ganondorf. Go to the Forest Medallion. --------------------------- 2.33 Ganon's Castle: Forest --------------------------- Once inside the Forest, you will be facing off against two Stalfos enemies right away. Once they are defeated, equiped the Iron Boots, and use the Longshot in order to reach the ledge above the door. The Iron Boots as you know will keep you from falling off the ledge by the fan. Get the Small Key, and make your way into the next room. You will need to shoot the eye that is hidden inside a fan in order to get the chest that will drop right next to you. Use a couple of Fire Arrows in order to take out the Armos and the Beamos next to it. Equiped the Hover Boots and go next wait until a blast of wind comes to make it to that ledge. While on that ledge, shoot a Fire Arrow into another fan to unfreeze another Eye Switch and get access to another Small Chest. Throw two Bombs from this ledge as well, to defeat the two closest Beamos. Go onto the next ledge and throw two more Bombs to defeat two more Beamos. Jump onto the next ledge and defeat the Beamos that is on the nearby platform. Wait until the fan stops and then jummp onto the next pillar. Quickly put on the Iron Boots to prevent you from falling, and play the Song of Time. This will create a new Time Block with an Armos on it. Play the Song of Time once again to remove the block. This will get rid of the Block of Time causing the Armos to fall onto the Blue Switch, unlocking the door. Enter that door. After getting the items in the next room, shoot a Light Arrow into the barrier in order to break it. Two down, four to go. -------------------------- 2.34 Ganon's Castle: Water -------------------------- When you are in the Water Medallion section, you will need to defeat the first room of the enemies in order to actually get done what you need to do without getting distracted, Charge up the Spin Attack and use it on the Dead Hand in order to temporarily turn off the fountain in the middle of the room. Get some Blue Fire in a bottle and use it on the red ice that is blocking the door. You can also use more Blue Fire on the other red ice in the room to get the small chest and the heart. Make sure that you fill up the Blue Fire in two bottles for the next room, because you will need them. When you are ready, use a Small Key on the door. In the next room, you will need to get the Silver Coins in order to get the door opened. The coins are all around the dungeon. There are also two movable ice blocks in this room as well. Take out the keese that are in this room before starting on the ice blocks. There will be one Keese that is invisible, so you will need the Lens of Truth to see it. Once that is done, get four of the five Silver Rupees so far. The first one will need to get from the first movable block, while the second one is in a hole. The third one will be a bit tricky, but it can be done. It is over the abyss. In order to get it, use your Hover Boots, and go from the long length to the wall where the hole is that was red ice. That ice will be upper where the hole actually is. The fourth Silver Rupee is below the fifth one, which it is in Red Ice. Focus your attention on the Red Ice so that you can get teh fifth Silver Rupee. Push one of the movable ice blocks towards the locked door. Get on it and remove the Red Ice with one of your bottles of Blue Fire. Get back off the block and push it into the abyss in order to reset it. Push that block against the ice boulders, then push it again into the hole. Now you will need the other ice block. Push this one over the hole, where the other ice block is, then push it against the other set of Ice boulders. The next push will be the final one for this one. Push the block so that it reaches the red Ice that the fifth Silver Rupee is in. Use the other Blue Fire to get access to it. Once that is done, go into the next room. After getting the jars here, shoot a Light Arrow into the Water Barrier to get it broke. Three down, halfway there. --------------------------- 2.35 Ganon's Castle: Shadow --------------------------- When you are in the Shadow room, you will need to get five more Silver Rupees in order to get access to the other door. Hit a Bomb Flower with a Fire arrow in order to uncover a Treasure Chest, then use your Longshot to get over to it. You will need to use both the Lens of Truth and the Hover Boots in order to get to the invisible moving platform. This is where you will get the first Silver Rupee. Use the Hover Boots again in order to make it to the Second Silver Rupee, which will be next to another Bomb Flower. Once you are on the invisible moving platform, jump onto the next platform and defeat the Beamos. Get the third Silver Rupee, and light the torch with a Fire Arrow. This will reveal a clear block. Hover to it and defeat the two Beamos with a single Bomb. Once that is done, then turn around a hit the Eye Switch with an arrow. This will reveal a chest with a Small Key inside. Use the Lens of Truth in order to reveal a small path. This will lead to a Beamos. Defeat it, and get the four Silver Rupee. Return back to the nearby platform and use the Lens of Truth once again to reveal the other path, that leads to the door. You will need to get past the guillotine. in order to collect the final Silver Rupee. Once you have reached the guillotine, roll past it and get the Final Silver Rupee, unlocking the door in the process. Follow the rest of the path and enter the next room. After getting any items that you are deprived on, shoot a Light Arrow to break the Shadow Barrier. Two more left to go. ------------------------- 2.36 Ganon's Castle: Fire ------------------------- Make sure that you have the Goron Tunic on as you enter the Fire Medallion room. Once again, five Silver Rupees will play a factor in getting the door unlocked. Go onto the moving platform and when it is all the way to the right, get on the seond platform that is on the right side. Once it is raised up and about to go down (unlike in the origional, when it just sinks) do a backflip and get the first Silver Rupee. This next time, you will need to jump to the next moving platform that is below. Make sure that you can time the jump right before jumping. Falling into the lava will mean that you need to start the beginning of this room again. Once you are on the moving platform, throw a Bomb at the Beamos in order to take it out. Once you are on the platform with the giant boulder, use the Golden Gaunlet power in order to get the second Silver Rupee. Go back on the platform and make your way over to the next set of still platforms. These platforms will rise and lower like the first ones you were on. Use your Longshot in order to make it to the Hookshot point. Aim at the top of it to ensure that you can climb on it. Jump down in order to get the third Silver Rupee. Jump onto the next moving platform and ride it to the next Silver Rupee. Defeat the Torch Slugs by the platform that you are on, or jump on to the platform they are on and make sure they do not knock you off. Pick up the boulder and throw it. It will land towards the fifth Silver Rupee. Use the Longshot on the Hookshot point to get over to it, aiming at the top to make sure that you can climb on it. Use your Hover Boots to make it back to the platforms where you get the third Silver Rupee. This will be on the same moving platform that you were on before. Carefully time your jump so that you can make it to giant boulder and make it to the final Silver Rupee. This will open up the locked door, and give you access to another Hookshot point. Use it to get to the door. After getting the items in this room, use a Light Arrow to break the Fire seal. One more to go before the big showdown. -------------------------- 2.37 Ganon's Castle: Light -------------------------- Use the Golden Gauntlets in order to get access into the final barrier. Enter the Light Barrier when you gained access to it. Once you are in the first room, defeat all of the enemies to get into the next room. You will need to have two Small Keys in your possession in order to make it through this area. The first locked door will be in the current room you are in. Play Zelda's Lullaby in order to get a Small Chest, then open the first door with the Small Key. In order to defeat the Beamos in the next room, you will need to time a throw with a Bomb so that it will blow up in the air defeating the Beamos. Use your Longshot in order to get over the wall, and then use the final Small Key in order to make it into the next room. When you first enter this room it might appear to be a dead end, but do not be fooled by the wall. Use the Lens of Truth in order to see the block that is blocking your way to the Light Barrier. There will be a crystal switch on the right, so hit it, then make your way to the final barrier. Once you get rid of the jars in this room, then shoot a Light Arrow at the final Barrier. All the barriers are now done, and this will give you access to Ganon's Tower. ------------------ 2.38 Ganon's Tower ------------------ You are now getting closer to the final showdown with Ganondorf. All you have to do is follow the organ music. You will need to defeat all the Keese in the first room. When you reach the next room, you will need to defeat both of the Dinofos. When you are done that, the continue up more stairs. In the next room, you will see a flame around the boss chest. In order to get the Boss Key, you will need to defeat 2 Stalfos. When you have done this, the get the boss key and continue up the next flight of stairs. Entering the next room, and final room before using the Boss key, might not be a breeze. The only thing that stands in your way to get to Ganondorf is 2 Iron Knuckles. One in black, and one in white. Defeat them one at a time. Taking them both on at once may result in a loss of life. When you are done that, continue upstairs until you hit the boss key lock. After using the lock, DO NOT GET THE VASES. You may need them in the fight against Ganondorf. Continue on up the red carpet stairs, until you reach the King of Evil's door. If you enter with hearts gone, they will heal before the fight with Ganondorf. -------------- 2.39 Ganondorf -------------- Finally, what you been waiting for. A shot at the King of Evil himself. Ganondorf is seen playing the organ, with Primcess Zelda above. Anyway lets get to the fight. You should warn you if you are not an experienced person at this game then you may need practice against Ganondorf. He is the toughest boss in the game to defeat. To defeat Ganondorf, you need to use a combo on him. The best thing to do is get into a corner for this. When he uses his magic, get out your sword and deflect it at him. Use your shield if you are not prepared. When his magic his him, then use you Light Arrow on him. Next, Longshot to his cape, and attck with the sword. When he gets back up, then Longshot to a safe place. If Ganondorf decides to use what we call his "Black Magic," then there is 2 things you can do. You can use your longshot to get out of the way of it, or you can start trhe combo at the Light Arrow part. That combo again is Delfect with sword, Light Arrow, Longshot to cape, hit him with your sword, and Longshot to a safe place. Grangradulations. You defeated the King of Evil, Ganondorf. If you think it is over then you are wrong. Ganondorf tried to collaspe the castle with both you and Zelda inside. You need to escape in 3 minutes to save you and the Princess. Follow the Princess down the tower. At one point, you meet up with 2 Stalfos, which have a revival time limit if the partner is not defeated. Quickly defeat them and continue on. On you reach the end, the castle collaspes. ---------- 2.40 Ganon ---------- Are you thinking it's over? then you are wrong. Last battle this time. Ganondorf comes out of the rubble angrier then ever. He uses the Triforce of Power to transform into the last boss, Ganon. With 2 big swords, he can take damage off of you like you could imagine. This guy is easier then Ganondorf. Use your Light Arrow to the face. Then use either the Megaton Hammer (what we use), or the Biggoron's Sword. When you get the Master sword back, then use that to Defeat Ganon, along with your Light Arrow. If you run out of arrows, then hide next to a wall. Prizes come out that might help you. Same with magic, unless you have an Ultimite Potion, or a Green Potion. ---------- 3. Secrets ---------- ---------- 3.1 Hearts ---------- Here are all the Hearts you get in the game. 8 of them are from when you defeat bosses.
