Introduction --------------- Welcome to the Much Games official strategy guide for Grand Theft Auto: Vice City. In this guide, you will learn the basics, how to get past each mission. You will also learn about the locations of each Rampage, Hidden Packages, and some cheats for each console or system. We at Much Games would also like to remind you not to try anything you see in this game in reality. --------- 2. Basics --------- -------------- 2.1 What's New -------------- -------------- 2.1.1 Vehicles -------------- There are finally motorcycles in this game. You can now ride your own personal motorcycle through the streets and do a pop a wheelie past the cop cars. You can also fire straight ahead on a motorcycle with certain weapons. You cannot do this in a car or truck. You can now use a helicopter or a seaplane in Vice City. There are also serveral different types of cars, and some RC vehicles. There are some new opportunities as well as hazards. Tires can now be shot. Police can deploy spike strips to flatten your tires. You can take out the driver of some vehicle with some accurate shooting. Control becomes increasingly difficult with each blown tire, and driving with all four tires blown out is nearly impossible. It can be done, however. -------------- 2.1.2 Property -------------- You can now purchase real estate in Vice City. Pick up a Save House of your choice. You will get multiple garages, a place to save, and storage for all goodies you have earned from collecting hidden packages at several locations. All Save House locations can be purchased at the beginning of the game (except on the mainland). After the mission "phnom Penh '86" these will become available because the road blocks will be removed. You can also purchase certain pieces of real estate that have missions tied to them. You must finish part of the main story to get to these. Very often, when you complete these missions, the property will begin to generate revenue for you. You can collect up to a certain amount depending on the place. These are called Asset Properties. ---------------------- 2.1.3 Asset Properties ---------------------- You can only purchase the following when there is a green house icon in front of them Boatyard: Purchase Cost: $10,000 Missions: 1 Revenue Generated: $2,000 max per day Cherry Popper Ice Cream Factory Purchase Cost: $20,000 Missions: 1 Revenue Generated: $3,000 max per day Kaufman Cabs Purchase Cost: $40,000 Missions: 3 (Unlock Zebra Cab at end) Revenue Generated: $5,000 max per day Car Showroom (Sunshine Autos): Purchase Cost: $50,000 Missions: Races and Collecting Cars Revenue Generated: $1,500 max per day after each list, $6,000 max Print Works Purchase Cost: $70,000 Missions: 2 (Must Complete in order to unlock the final missions in the main story) Revenue Generated: $8,000 max per day Film Studio Purchase Cost: $60,000 Missions: 4 Revenue Generated: $7,000 max per day The Malibu Purchase Cost: $100,000 Missions: 4 (Must Complete in order ot unlock the final missions in the main story) Revenue Generated: $10,000 max per day Pole Position Purchase Cost: $30,000 Mission: Must spend $600 on the dancer in the first room of the open hallway. The Two Wheel Challenge is done with any four wheel vehicle. See how long you can maintain having a vehicle on it's side while riding on two wheels! Bonuses are awarded when you beat you own time in any of these tricks. Use any Motorcycle to pull off a wheelie. You need to pull back on the motorcycle with whatever controller you have (or keyboard for PC), gas it up, and ride it out as long as you are able to. The stoppie, just like the wheelie, is performed any two-wheeled cycle, except for the Harley-type bikes. Reach a maximum speed on the motorcycle, then press both the hand and regular breaks at the same time while leaning forward. Lean forward and backward to maintain the balance and see how long you can do a Stoppie for. ------------------- 2.1.6 Robbing Banks ------------------- You can knock over some Vice City shops for cash and a piece of 100% completion of Vice City. Walk into one of the following shops, then target, but whatever you do do not shoot the cashier, and he will promtly give you cash. The longer you hold your aim the more money you will get until three stacks of cash have been dispensed. Shoot him before letting your aim up and he won't hit the alarm. Either way, you will have cops on your tail. You might want to get out of there quickly. Here are the stores you can rob: Store and Location Corner Store: Vice Point, one block north of the Shady Points Hospital Dispensary + (Pharmacy): Vice Point, one block west of the Corner Store Jewelry Store: Vice Point, kust east of the bridge to Leaf Links Country Club Gash: North Point Mall Music Store: North Point Mall Jewelry Store: North Point Mall Hardware Store: North Point Mall Bunch of Tools (Hardware): Washington Beach, on peninsula west of Washington Beach Police Dept. These are everything from helicopter checkpoint to Hyman Memorial Stadium. -------------------- 2.1.10 Other Goodies -------------------- Building interiors are accessable. Inside areas are key locations for many missions, as well as obvious purposes. Buying food to gain health would be a great example of this. The Vice City map is tight. You will find an in-game map, especially handy for finding your way around Vice City. Like all other GTA games, there are gang wars. You can save the Cuban or Hiatian (available only in earlier versions) until attempting full completion of the game, so you won't have to deal with quite so many people on the streets gunning for you. Vice City's targeting system makes combat on foot very manageable. If you have a hard time aiming, you will find it easy to deal with in Vice City. There is also a large arsenal of weapons, including nasty new melee weapons like the chainsaw, and an impressive array of shotguns, assault rifles, submachine guns, and more. See the Weapons section for more details. ------------------------ 2.2 Crime and Punishment ------------------------ There are lots of ways to get the law on you in Vice City. There are only a few ways out. They usually involve either jail, or a pine box. ------------------ 2.2.1 Wanted Level ------------------ Any illegal activities you perform while in public have potential of getting police attention. This is your wanted level. Your wanted level ranges from 1 star to six stars. If you get to five, you will get the FBI on you. Get to six and the military will show up to destroy you. As soon as your wanted level exceeds the first star, the law will pursue you relentlessly until you take steps to remove some stars. If you only have a single star, however, it will elaspe on its own time,a s long as you do not get into any more trouble. ---------------------- 2.2.2 Shaking The Heat ---------------------- There are a few ways you can reduce your wanted level. There are police bribes scattered around the city. Getting one will lower your level by one star. Another big option is the Pay 'n' Spray. This will not only fix up your car it will also get rid of your wanted level all together. The only problem is that your current stars will briefly remain flashing until when your car has a new paint job. Doing anything illegal at that time and your wanted level will fly back up to where it was. Keep in mind that if you somehow manage to get past the military and some guy cuts you off in his moped, then it is not a good idea to go after him. Of course there are less pleasant ways of getting out of trouble. If you get yourself killed then you will end up in the closest hospital with some money and all your weapons gone. If you get busted by a cop or the FBI, then you will wind up in the closest police station, and once again minus weapons and some cash. If you get the military on you they don't want to arrest you, they want to blast you. There will also be cops on foot. They will open your door and bust you faster then in Liberty City. ---------------------------- 2.2.3 Wanted Level Breakdown ---------------------------- 1 Star: This is low-level alert. Any cop that is one foot or in a passing police crusier (both carring Colt 45s and Nightsticks) will follow you. If they pull you out of a car or knock you down on the ground, your busted. The best options are to find a police bribe or lay low until the star is gone. 2 Stars: Things are starting to heat up a bit with 2 stars. Police Crusiers will be in hot pursuit. The cops will also shoot at you and read your rights later. Go to the Pay 'n' Spray, get 2 police bribes, or one police bribe then lay low until the heat is shaken. 3 Stars: This is where the detectives (reminiscents of Crockett and Tubbs from Miami Vice) packing Uzi 9mms will join the pursuit. They will be in their Cheetah, while a helicopter serves as the eye in the sky. Light roadblocks, consisting of a police crusier or two, will also appear on major streets. 4 Stars: The police will start to come more quickly and violently. The helicopter will shoot at you, and policemen on foot will deploy the spikestrips. This is also where the SWAT team will join the chase packing Uzis and Colt 45s. If they catch you, the bamboo under the fingernail treatment is likely to occur. The SWAT team will come out of the helicopters as well. 5 Stars: This is where the FBI join the scene in Black Rangers. Four agents per Rancher, and upon their arrival they will start shooting. The FBI will carry MP5s and Colt 45s. 6 Stars: Now your in for it. The army will show up carrying MP5s, Grenades, and Colt 45s, and riding in Rhinos, Barrack OLs and Flatbeds. The helicopter will still buzz overhead. The best way to get out of 3 to 6 Stars is to find a Pay 'n' Spray. ------------------ 2.3 Getting Around ------------------ There are two ways to cruise around in Vice City. ------------- 2.3.1 On Foot ------------- Occasionally you will have to walk around in Vice City. There are probably many reasons to do this: Have accessability to areas more difficult or impossible to reach in vehicles. Fighting is easier when you have a weapon to use instead of a driveby. You can escape pursuit more easily this way as well. Stating the obvious here, being on foot will be your ticket to getting a new vehicle. Jacking a car is simple, and your only limited by what happens to be around when you want a new ride. Running improves your endurance over the course of the game. At first you will not have good endurance, but as the game goes on, then the endurance for running will be better. This will be handy in more situations. Using weapons while on foot is also important or necessary in some missions, and it's quite useful when you want to destroy a vehicle quicker then ramming it with something that weighs more. -------------------------- 2.3.2 Cruising The Streets -------------------------- The vehicles are the biggest part of all GTA games. There are boats at the docks, helicopters on landing pads, and cars ans motorcycles everywhere, just waiting for you. Taxi Rides: Each time you fail a mission, there will be a mysterious Kauffman Cab that will show up outside of the hospital or Police Station. Enter the cab with the Large Arrow above it and for $9.00 it will take you to the mission you were on. That's great for when you need to get back to the mission faster. The Bail Out: This one is simple. Once you are in a vehicle that is about to be destroyed, then bail out. If the flames start to show, get out of the vehicle and run for cover. Garages: If you can to keep a vehicle (or a tank---trust me I tried it it works) then take it to a garage and store it. Each house you have can store a multiple vehicles. Some one store one. This will be handy to have a variety of rides around when you need apecific kind of vehicle. Some will be fast, some will be durable for some missions. Motocycle Drive-bys: Motorcyles will make the best gun platforms then some vehicles. You can shoot forward on a bike, which can enable you to chase down targets and destroy their vehicle from behind. This is something you cannot do in other vehicles. Earliest Chopper: Once you have access to the other main island, then you can access flight ability. Once you buy the Hyman Condos in the Downtown section (see above for the price.) After saving you can go up on the rooftop for your very own Maverick. ----------- 2.4 Weapons ----------- Slot One: Camera: Only available in the mission "Martha's Mug Shot" the camera is used to blackmail the congressman, engaged in an indecent act. Slot Two: Brass Knuckles: Bouncers at the Malibu will be carrying these, or you can pick them up behind the Moonlight Hotel on Ocean Drive. Slot Three: Screw Driver: Used for turning screws or creating gaping holes in your targets. Golf Club: Find it from Golfers at Leaf Links Island and from the Leaf Links Country Club. Hammer: Normally found in Tool Shops. Nightstick: Find these on Police Officers or inside police stations. Baseball Bat: Great thrashing device in Vice City. You can buy them from Tool Shops after completing Rosenberg's third job "Jury Fury." Knife: You can purchase Knives from Tool shops after completing Rosenberg's second mission, "Back Alley Brawl." You can also get this behind the Northstar Hotel on Ocean Drive. Cleaver: These are available for purchase from the start of the game at any Tool Shop. Get one at no cost behind the North Pizza Shop. Machete: The bartender at the Pole Position Club will carry one of these. Also buy one at the Tool Shops after Rosenberg's third mission "Jury Fury." Katana: You can get these in Tool Shops, or find one free and Tarbrush Coffee in North Point Mall. Diaz's neighbor also has one of these in the garage on Starfish Island. Chainsaw: A great weapon in this slot. You can find these in a few place around Vice City. Slot 4: Grenades: You can eventually purchase these from AmmuNation, or get free ones from the Basketball court near the Ice Cream Factory. Teargas: Find this item (good to have if being chased by cops) outside the Beach Police Station. Molotov: Available only at the Taco Shop downtown. Bomb/Detonator: Buy this at Phil's Place once you've finished all of Phil's missions. Slot 5: Colt 45: Buy Colt 45s from any AmmuNation at the start of the game. Colt Python: Buy them from any AmmuNation after the mission "Rub Out." When you shoot with this revolver you cannot walk or run. Slot 6: Chromed Shotgun: Purchase this at the Mainland Ammu-Nation or get a free one at the top of the Washington Mall. Spaz Shotgun: To get a free one, look across from the main terminal at the airport. Stubby Shotgun: Get this at the Ammu-Nation at North Point Mall, or look for it behind the large hangar near the Junkyard. Slot 7: Tec-9: Find this weapon on the small road that leads to the golf course. Ingram Mac 10: Great weapon to have, and it has a high rate of fire. Uzi 9mm: Find this behind the Pay 'n' Spray in Washington, across from the Biker Bar. There is another one at the Thugs' hideout on Prawn Island. MP5: FBI Agents carry this weapon so that is where you can get it. Slot 8: Ruger: This weapon can be found doing the third missions for both the Cubans and the Colnel. Colt M4: Found in the slums of Little Haiti, behind a house near Umberto's Café in Little Havana, the basement of your mansion, and inside Studio B of Prawn Island. Slot 9: Rocket Launcher: Buy them at Phil's Place once his missions are done. Also, find one in the pool at the Hooker Inn. Flame-Thrower: Found right in the open, alongside the south road in the Docks area of Viceport, and another unlikely spot in the Rock Star pool on Starfish Island. M60: Buy one at Phil's Place once his missions are completed and also, find one in the left tower at Fort Baxter Air Base. Minigun or Gattling Gun: Purchase this item at Phil's Place after completing his missions. Slot 10: Sniper Rifle: Buy one at an Ammu-Nation or pick one up from Diaz's mansion. Another Sniper Rifle behind the tollbooth on the last bridge from the Mainland. PSG-1: Find one next to Kaufman Cab billboard in Little Havana (near Umberto's Café) or purchase one from the Downtown Ammu-Nation for an arm and a leg (Try using Phil's arm). Items: Health: Restores your vitality to 100: If you are injured then you can get one that will help you majorly. Body Armor: Provides 100 Points of protection on top of your health. Pick this up everytime you begin a mission, either at Ammu-Nation, or from one around town. Adrenaline: Adrenaline will give you strength to push cars and slows the rest of the world to a crawl. Try it in combination with different weapons to see how you can best use it to your advantage. Police Bribes: As mentioned earlier, Police Bribes are the best way to get the police, FBI, or Military off your back. This will only drop by a single star. -------------------- 2.5 Vehicle Showroom -------------------- This section will name the car, the Coolness Factor, Speed, Handling, Cornering, and any features and comments about the car (all ratings out of 10): -------------------------- 2.5.1 2-Door & Muscle Cars -------------------------- Blista Compact Cool Factor: 5 Speed: 6 Handling: 8 Cornering: 7 Features and Comments: Small, light, and low to the ground, this puppy scoots, Take one if you see it. Take the route to the left because the path that is right is longer and you will never make it to the dealer in time. Once you believe the lead is comfortable, then you can slow down and carefully navigate your way through. If you get caught up in with the docks, the chances are that the competition will get to the supplier first. Once you have hit the supplier first, you and Lance will switch and you will become the shooter. First, aim for the shooter that is shooting at you to avoid any damage, then take out the driver. Once the boat is farther away from you, then you can destroy the boat. When Lance yells, shoot at the gunners on the Jetty before they give you some serious damage. Your best bet is to aim for the explosive barrels behind them. When the helicopter comes try either shooting for the thug, or shooting for the helicopter, depending on your aim of course. Either way it is still good. One last thing will still stand in your way. Another Jetty. This one will be a bit more dangerous then the other one so try to take out the occupants on the Jetty before it gets too close and a collision is involved. Once this is all said and done, you will earn $10,000. After this mission, Kent Paul will call you and inform you to go to the Malibu. Once inside, take out any and all survivors, along with the gang members to avoid fighting them later (be careful of the guy on the crane). Take cover next to junkyard machinery to avoid getting hit by bullets. Once you have Lance, get into the Trashmaster. The best items to use are the ones that have rapid fire, or grenades to make it more messey. The grenades are available at Ammu-Nation. Just a note so that you know that the purple blips that are triangles pointing up are stores upstairs. There are cops and security in the Mall so not getting a Wanted Level will be impossible. Run away from them and do not get that level up more. I know that sounds hard to do with a 5 minute time limit and running around getting those stores quickly. If the cops get hot on your trail, then enter the stores which you have not got the windows beat out of yet to speed up the process. once this mission is complete you will get $2000 plus you are now able to get some of the Love Fist Missions started and done. --------------- 3.4.4 Bar Brawl --------------- Payoff: $4000 Description: Take out the thugs protecting the Front Page Bar and find out who supplied them. There are a number of ways to do this including sniping or bombing them from the stairs across the street, or rush in with your buddies and take them all out. Once the guards in the parking lot, two more will escape on bikes. If you have gained a Wanted Level, then you can try to find a Police Bribe in the alley near the stairs to calm things down. You will need to get to the garage first because it is the easiest way of doing things before you get a wanted level. Once you reach the garage, get your wanted level to 2 stars to attract some cops. Once they arrive enter the garage with the cops. When things are said and done, you and Lance will have new uniforms. There is a cop car in the back of the garage behind the short wall. Get into that car and go into the North Point Mall. Once you are in the North Point Mall, enter the Tar Brush Café and go into the pink blip to put in a new bomb. Once the bomb is acivated, quickly rush out. Try to avoid running to far from Lance. He is the yellow blip on the radar. You will need him alive in order to complete the mission. The bomb will detonate after 5 seconds. Once it does, then your Wanted Level will rocket to 5 stars. The FBI will be on you now. Get into a fast car and hurry back to the mansion as fast as you can to avoid the FBI. You can get either police bribes to get into a better situation, or get the the Pay 'n' Spray to get your Wanted Level down more. Once this mission is completed, you will have the $10,000. ------------------ 3.5 Final Missions ------------------ Note: The final two missions will not be available until most of the assets are completed. All but two assests need to be completed, and the Print Shop must be completed. ----------------------- 3.5.1 Cap The Collector ----------------------- Payoff: $30,000 Description: Knock off three pairs of collectors before they put you out of business. The pink blips on the radar will represent your businesses. The red blips will represent the first wave of collectors in all. Two collectors will be on each Sanchez. They will begin taxing the Boathouse. If you do not have that one unlocked yet then they will head for Sunshine Autos, the The Malibu. You will need to have a fast car for this and a powerful weapons such as either the Rocket Launcher, or the Gatling Gun. Cap the first two as fast as you can. If you can do this before they reach Sunshine Autos, then two more groups will come. Chase both of them down as well and once you have capped all six of them, you will earn $30,000, as well as unlocking the final mission. -------------------------------- 3.5.2 Keep Your Friends Close... -------------------------------- Payoff: $30,000 Description: Defend your mansion from a final onslaught of mobsters. You will need to defend your safe first. Protect it from the rush of goons that come your way. After about 15 or so goons wasted, Lance will show up near the upstairs hallway. Once you begin shooting Lance, he will run into the hallway. Chase him through the hallways and up the stairway to the roof, then once on the roof-top, get the Adrenaline to slow down the action, and run to the helipad. Grab the health up there, and hurry to the edge of the helipad overlooking Lance and the thugs. You can either shoot at them at once, or do the easy thing and shoot the barrels to take them all out at once. Lance will be the toughest one, but eventually he will go down. The weapon he uses will also take a lot out of you so you will have to keep moving and shooting at him to destroy him. Once Lance is out of the way, it is down to you and Sonny. Quickly get behind your desk again and use it for cover while you take out the goons. You musty eventually storm into the main room and take out Sonny. While attacking Sonny his backup will be continually coming in until you destroy Sonny. Once you have killed them all you will own Vice City. Just to note that yes you have finished the game but have not got 100% just yet. You will get another $30,000, plus you can continue to play that file as many times as you want to get all 100% complete. -------------------- 4. Extras and Assets -------------------- ------------------------------- 4.1 Avery Carrington's Missions ------------------------------- --------------- 4.1.1 Four Iron --------------- Payoff: $500 Description: Hit the links and then practice your swing on one of Avery's targets. The first thing you need to do is go to the sports shop to get golfing clothes. Once you are done that you can go to the Leaf Links Golf Club. There will be a metal detector at the golf club so you will lose some of your weapons temporarily. Hop into the Golf cart and you will recieve a Golf Club depending on if there is an item in your Melee slot or not. Follow the blip on your radar to find the target. Once you reach the target you will need to get to him, so try to avoid his guards and go for him. He will take off in pursuit so you will need to keep a golf cart there incase you end up destroying the guards. In case you end up chasing him in the golf cart and you both are near water, just get him into the water. This will end the mission and you will get the $500. If he ends up outside the golf club you will need to pick up some your weapons for a drive-by. Once he is destroyed you will get the $500. -------------------- 4.1.2 Demolition Man -------------------- Payoff: $1000 Description: Plant four explosive charges on the various floors of a building under construction. Note: A seven-minute clock will start after you pick up the first explosive. The best things to do is either start from the top and work your way down, or start from the top, then first floor second floor, and finally third floor. Either way works. You will need to drop the charges on the canisters which are marked ihn pink blips on your radar. What out for the construction guys and the security guards. They will attack the RC helicopter and try to destroy it. Just destroy them with the blades. The guards will shoot at you so try to avoid them the best you can. Once the building is destroyed, you will get $1000. ----------------- 4.1.3 Two Bit Hit ----------------- Payoff: $2500 Description: Start a gang war between the Cubans and the Haitians. You will need to go to the clothing store in Little Havana and get some Cuban clothes. The T-Shirt blip will help you there. Next, go to Romero's Funeral Home and take out the Haitian gang Lord. Unless you destroyed him right away, then the Haitian Gang Lord will take off in a Romero Hearse. Get into your vehicle and chase after him. A fast vehicle is best suited for this mission. Watch out for the caskets that the hearse drops. Once the leader is takin out (either by drive-by or raming the hearse until it goes up in smoke), then get out of Little Haiti. If you are already out of there, then you will get the $2500. ---------------------- 4.2 Rock Band Missions ---------------------- ---------------- 4.2.1 Love Juice ---------------- Payoff: $2000 Description: Score some Love Juice for Love Fist Follow the pink Blip on the radar for the location of the dealer carrying the ingredients. He will steal your money and try to run off. The best thing to use for this mission is the infernus so you can run the dealer off the bike he is on and then try to run him over before he gets his gun out. Another option is the PCJ 600 for the speed it carries and the fact that you can do a front view drive-by as well. If you knock the dealer off his bike, then he will be carrying a Stubby Shotgun, so be careful. Once you have destroyed him, Kent Paul will call asking you to get a girl. This is where a fast vehicle will come in handy. Go to Mercedes' apartment and pick her up. There will be a timer on for about 1:30 one you pick her up, so you will need to have the best route to take. This best route is through Prawn Island. Once you have dropped Mercedes off at the V-Rock Studios, then the mission will end and you will have another $2000. ------------------- 4.2.2 Psycho Killer ------------------- Payoff: $4000 Description: Take out Love Fist's Psycho Stalker One way to do this mission is to get to the pink blip on the radar with the Love Fist Limo. Once he shows himself (as a woman) then chase him and run him off the road until his car is on fire, then when he is out of the car, shoot h, or trap him until his car explodes. The best way to do this mission is to get a fast car (like the infernus, or a sports car), and park it next to where the rock band signing is. Then, go back and get the limo by either walking or stealing a car. Once you make it to the pink blip. Once the staker makes his appearance to you then you can run the the fast car and chase after him. Do the same thing as the first paragraph, and once he is dead, then you will get the $4000. -------------------- 4.2.3 Publicity Tour -------------------- Payoff: $8000 Description: Safely drive the band around while the bomb gets disabled by the smartest member of the group (the drummer). Note: This mission cannot be completed until all of the Biker Missions are done. There are two ways to get past the bomb part of this mission. Either go through Starfish Island, or got through the highway from Downtown to Vice Port and back. The reason why I would mention Starfish island is because the room will be enough to get through traffic, espessially with that first turn. The route to take from Downtown until Vice Port and back is another simple route because it is all straight. Between the time the bomb is noticed, and the time the bomb is diffused by the drummer is about 2:20. Once the bomb is diffused, then you can go to the Love Fist gig, and get the $8000. ------------------ 4.3 Biker Missions ------------------ --------------------------- 4.3.1 Alloy Wheels of Steel --------------------------- Payoff: $1000 Description: Race to victory against Big Mitch Baker's gang and earn their respect. You need to have either a Freeway or an Angel to race this race. The Angel is usually parked outside the bar, however if there is not one there, then you will have to search or a Freeway. You can also do it the lazy way and kick one of Mitch's gang members off of his bike. The race will start either way, and you will take out one member from your competition. Once the race is underway, then you will need to race from checkpoint to checkpoint. One good way to do this is to proceed with caution, and play it safe rather then hit cars and cause yourself to be out of the race. You could go fast, just be careful of the cars, and proceed with caution. Once you have hit the red checkpoint, and win the race, then you will get $1000. -------------------------- 4.3.2 Messing With The Man -------------------------- Payoff: $2000 Description: Max out your Chaos Meter by causing havoc around town. You have two minutes to raise havoc and your Chaos Meter by destroying property, whacking passers, and basically cause trouble. Your Wanted Level is best at three of four stars to get a decent rate of increasing your Chaos Meter. Once that is done, then drive around shooting and ramming anything you see. The bike is not the best option here for this mission. Find areas where you can cause a lot of chaos without the law getting in the way. Rooftops or behind half-walls are the best for this. Once the Chaos Meter maxes out, you will get $2000. -------------- 4.3.3 Hog Tied -------------- Payoff: $4000 Description: Get Mitch his bike back from the thieves from Ammu-Nation. You will need a PCJ 600, along with some Armor, and a great weapon in order to reach the roof of Ammu-Nation. You will be credited with a Unique Stunt Bonus. Once on top of Ammu-Nation, you will need to destroy all of the guys coming at you. Get some Adrenaline if you need it. There is also a health icon on the roof if you manage to survive the gunfight. Once they are all out of the way, the bike is ready for the taking. Once you have the bike, then drive it to the west end of the compound and make a right, then drive up the stairs and jump out on the streets near the Taco Restaurant. Once you make it on the streets, you need to get moving cause there will be gang members chasing you in Gang Burritos. They are also heavily armed. They will try to ram you off the bike, or try to destroy the bike. So get rid of them as fast as possible while going to the bar. Once the bike is at the bar, you will win the mission and get $4000. -------------------------- 4.4 Assassination Missions -------------------------- --------------- 4.4.1 Road Kill --------------- Payoff: $500 Description: Plow down the Pizza Devivery Boy before he makes 50 deliveries. There will be a limit of 50 deliveries here so you must be quick about this. Get into a fast vehicle, and track him down fast. Once you find him, just run him off his bike and either run him over before he gets back on the Pizza Boy again, or get out of your car and shoot him. Either way, once he is gone you will get the $500. -------------------- 4.4.2 Waste The Wife -------------------- Payoff: $2000 Description: Kill Mrs. Dawson and make it look like a deadly "accident." Once again a fast vehicle will come in handy for this mission. You can find Mrs. Dawson leaving the Jewelery Store in Vice Point. This mission is easy, follow her car, ram it, and make sure it bursts into flames. Once the car is in flames you will need to hightail it out of there so that nobody can blame you for the accident. There will be a message at the bottom of the screen telling you when to leave. Once this mission is finished, and the car explodes, you will recieve the $2000. -------------- 4.4.3 Autocide -------------- Payoff: $4000 Description: Eliminate 5 gang members, each one scattered around town in order to foil their intentions. You need a weapon first. The blue blip will show where the weapon is located to. Another thing needed is a fast car. One that can get you the speed needed to go from place to place. First target: Mike Griffin. He is working on an advertising board in Washington Beach. Sniper rifle can easily take him out. Target #2: Dick Tanner. An employee of DBP Security. The best way to take him out is to block the securicar and pump it full of submachine gun lead. He will try to puch you out of the way, but at least a lot of damage should be done so you can easily just ram him with your car. Once the securicar is in flames, he will jump out. Nothing a little run over cannot handle. If he manages to escape before you do this then Chase him down and eliminate him as fast as possible. Remember you do have a time limit. Target #3: Marcus Hammond and Franco Carter. They car located near the jewelry shop in Vice Point. They will try to run, just like Tanner, so the best thing to do is to shoot out the tires on the truck with the sniper rifle to make the chase easier. One of them will jump out and atack you, nothing a little run over won't take car of. The other one in the truck will be needed to be taken out by a drive-by, rather then ramming because he will lead you far away from your next target. Target #4: Nick Kong. Located in Washington beach in the water. Stand on the coastline on this target and use the sniper rifle without even getting your feet wet. Final Target: Charlie Dilson: Riding around on a PCJ 600 in Washginton Beach. He will not last long up against a fast four-wheeled vehicle that you are chasing him down with. Once all 5 of them are gone within the time limit, then you will recieve the $4000. ------------------------------- 4.4.4 Check Out at the Check-in ------------------------------- Payoff: $8000 Description: Snipe your target at the airport, and take the briefcase to the Downtown Ammu- Nation. You will first need a sniper rifle to take out the guy that is carrying the briefcase. One is located behind the tree right of the payphone. Watch the woman that is on the balcony. She will lead you to your target. Here is the tricky part, you need to stay a certain distace without getting noticed. If the Distance Meter gets maxed out, then mission failed. Once you see your taeget in sight, then snipe him, not her, then take the briefcase he will drop. Now your Wanted Level is at two. Grab the briefcase, and hurry out of there. Take all of the weapons you have from outside, jack a really fast vehicle, and boot it from the cops and goons that are chasing you for the brifcase. You can easily avoid the cops by getting to a Pay 'n' Spray either in Viceport or Little Haiti. The goons are too smart for that so you will need to get the Ammu-Nation located Downtown as fast as possible. They will have people shooting from the sunroofs of their Admirals. Once you can get to the Downtown Ammu-Nation, and dropped off the briefcase, then you can claim your $8000. ---------------- 4.4.5 Loose Ends ---------------- Payoff: $16,000 Description: Snipe your way to the roof of the Cherry Popper Ice Cream building, acquire the briefcase, and return it via helicopter. Go throught the gate around the corner to get your weapon. You will need to snipe your way past the men in suits behind the cars that are blocking the alley. Once that little thing is out of the way, go up to the car, and find the man located in the distance to the right. He will be facing you , so you can easily snipe him. Select the submachine gun and run to the stair while you are firing at the explosives barrel located beside the van. The explosion will eliminate all of the guards there. Run to the top of the stairs, and you will be located at the area where you sniped the guard from the lower alley. You will have an interesting choice here. Either shoot, snipe, or bomb the guards below that you can see from the vantage point. One great thing to do is take out a lot of the guards as possibel by taking out the barrels. When you feel that it is safe to continue, then go back down stairs and go to the back-left corner of the compound. Get the Armor that is located there, then go to the right side and go to the rooftops via the stairs. In order to safely reach the roof of the Cherry Popper Ice Cream company you will need to use the sniper rifle to peg down any distant enemies before you enter their range. One of them is the guy on the billboard. Once on the roof with the two large Ice Cream structures, go up the next set od stairs of stairs to access the helipad. Get on top of one of the rooftop vents and shoot the remaining thugs while your presence to them is undetected. Grab the briefcase and enter the helicopter. Fly the helicopter to Escobar International Airport and land on the helipad with the pink marker to complete this mission, inturn recieving $16,000. ------------------------ 4.5 Film Studio Missions ------------------------ ----------------------- 4.5.1 Recruitment Drive ----------------------- Payoff: $1000 Description: Answer the casting call and find two sexy leading ladies for Tommy's film venture. Candy Suxx is the first person you need to find, as well as a four-door vehicle. Just follow the pink blip on the radar to find her. Once you have found her, you will need to take out the pimp that she is hired by, along with his goons. You can easily shoot the goons, and then take out the pimp by chasing him until he takes off on foot. Damaging his vehicle several will help her big time. Once he is gone, then you can pick up Candy. Up next is Mercedes. She is easier to get and will not have to kill anybody to get her. She is located at the pizza place in Downtown. Once you have her, then you can go back top the film studio and drop them off. Once this is done you will have the $1000. ---------------- 4.5.2 Dildo Dodo ---------------- Payoff: $2000 Description: Spread some promotional flyers for Steve's film, in the Dodo. First things first, flying the dodo is not an easy task. However, it is better then GTA 3 because you can get it off the water in this case. The Dodo is a hard plane to control, however, once you have control of her, then this mission can be a breeze. The objective is to spread the flyers on the main island through 6 different red and blue blips each. The blue blips indicate starting point while the red blips (shown one at a time) will indicate the stoping point for each flyer delivery. Two tricky things will be stoping you here. There is a limit on gas and of course hitting the 12 markers will be a tough challenge. It is possible, and can be done easily depending on whether you can do this in the available gas limit. The best markers to start at are located in Downtown. Either the one above the biker bar, or the one that is over the bike track. I start on the closest checkpoint, being the biker bar, then go do the dirt track, make my way south, then once I hit Viceport, then I would turn and go north. Once this is all done, then you will recieve the $2000, although the trouble that is can cause it should be more. ----------------------- 4.5.3 Marhta's Mug Shot ----------------------- Payoff: $4000 Description: Frame a meddling congressman by catching him red-handed with Candy Suxx. You will revieve the camera needed to frame Alex Shrub. As well, some powerful weapons might be needed, along with a fast car you can possibly borrow. First things first, you need to stalk Candy to find out where Alex Shrub is located. Get in the helicopter that will be located next to the UFO prop. Follow her until she get out of the limo. Once that happens, you need to enter the WK Charlot Hotel across the street. Exit the helicopter, then go into the side door and head up to the top floor where you can see both Schrub and Candy. You will need to get three photos of them close together in order to frame the congressman. Once you get them, your Wanted Level will to up 5 stars. Steal a car and go to the closest Pay 'n' Spray as quickly as possible. This will get the police and FBI off your back. Just don't commit any crimes while the stars are flashing. Go back to the helicopter (if it is not damaged) and fly back to the film studio with the photos. If the helicopter is damaged, then use the car you currently occupy. Once this is completed, you will end up with $4000. ----------------- 4.5.4 G-Spotlight ----------------- Payoff: $8000 Description: Redirect a downtown spotlight to draw attention toward Tommy's star, Candy Suxx. You must use a PCJ600 for this mission, along with the mission being in the nighttime. The reason is so that you can do the jumps better, and the light shines better at night. Take the officers PCJ 600 and drive it toward the pink blip on the radar. You will need to go to the floor that it recommends and it will automatically do that for you. Once you are on that floor, get your bike in position to get alot of speed and jump through the window to the platform just below. This will count as a Unique Stunt bonus. From their, you need to jump from building to building until you reach the spotlight. The blips will help you out majorly. Once this is done, just go to the spotlight blip, and the mission will be completed. Incase you are drivin off your bike and fall to the ground without the bike, then if you are near the access stairs, then they will help you get back up. That is a great access point there. But if it is a little earlier then that, then get in a helicopter, and use that to get from building to building until you reach the spotlight. Once this mission is completed, you will get $8000, the Film Studio Asset ceomplted, and some pics of Candy at your mansion. ------------------ 4.6 Cuban Missions ------------------ Note: This section and the Haitian section is for people with earlier versions of the game. -------------------------- 4.6.1 Stunt Boat Challenge -------------------------- Payoff: $1000 Description: Navigate the Speeder through some watery chackpoints within three minutes. For this one there are 26 checkpoints you will need to cross. They are located on the radar as you pass each checkpoint. Just be careful not to ramp onto land. If you do manage to land on land then the mission will prety much be over. Another tricky part is the turns. Be careful as you are making them because they could cost you the mission. Make sure for the turns that you can slow down before making them, that way it will be easier. Once this mission is completed, you will get the $1000, as well as Cuban respect. ------------------- 4.6.2 Cannon Fodder ------------------- Payoff: $2000 Description: Transport armed Cuban thugs into a Haitian stronghold and steal a van of drugs. You need to rob a four-door car, and get the Cubans inside of it. Most cars around are four door so that shouldn't be a difficult task. You will need to go to the pink blip on the radar. The Haitians will be gunning for you, esspecially with snipers. Once you arrive and dropped the Cubans off, you will need to give the Cubans some fire support. The first group of Haitians will be at the end of the alley hidden behind one of their gang cars. Make the car explode to be easier. Here is another method to destroying the cars. If you have been to 8-Ball's, then you can rig the car with explosives. Run up to the car and plant the explosives, then run back to a safe distance. Either way it is fun to see the car explode. Once they are out of the way, you can eliminate the sniper once after the scene is over. Snipe him back basically. You can also use any first-person shooting gun to take him out as well. Once you have the van, avoid getting it destroyed, and take it back to Robina's Café. Once this is complete, you will get your $2000. ---------------------- 4.6.3 Naval Engagement ---------------------- Payoff: $4000 Description: Gun down some Haitians from your boat, then retrieve a pair of briefcases filled with drugs. You will need to go to the pink blip and meet up with Rico. Use any weapon in this mission with good aiming capabilities, like the PSG-1 or Sniper Rifle. You will need to take out the boats first. If you have a ROcket Launcher, or a Gattling Gun, this will make it easier. They will try to destroy Rico's boat as well, so destroy the boats quickly. Once you are on the land, Rico's boat will be destroyed, meaning you will need to find a way to get back to Umberto. Take out all of the Haitians first before you get the briefcases. Once you have them, then Rico's boat will be destroyed. Your Wanted Level will be at 3 and could increase to 5. Get into a fast car, and either Police Bribes, or the Pay 'n' Spray will shake the heat. Once this mission ends, you will get the $4000, but you will have to complete the Haitian missions before finishing the final Cuban mission. ------------------- 4.6.4 Trojan Voodoo ------------------- Payoff: $10,000 Description: Steal a VooDoo in Little Haiti to infiltrate the Haitian Compound. Blow the joint sky high by planting bombs in the factory. Note: This mission cannot be started until all Haitian missions are finished. Getting a car is the first thing. No problem, Auntie Poulet's always has a VooDoo there. Once you have the VooDoo, then drive it to the pink blip and meet up with Rico. Follow the other three VooDoo's into the factory. Once they discover that you are not Haitians, then the gunfire will start, so you will need to have your gun on you to start killing them. As well, run into the building and start planting the explosives while taking out more Haitians. Once the bombs have been planted, then you will need to run out of there. The alley back is blocked, but there are stairs to the left side of the entrance of the compund. Climb them and run on the roof. Once the building id destroyed, you will earn $10,000. -------------------- 4.7 Haitian Missions -------------------- ------------------- 4.7.1 Juju Scramble ------------------- Payoff: $1000 Description: Gather several stashes under the clock and battle dangerous Wanted Levels for Auntie Poulet. Run to your car and hustle to the next briefcase just hidden around the corner. Jump out and grab it. Your Wanted Level will now increase. This time to four. To get the third one you will need to be even faster. Grab the closest Police Bribe to lower your Wanted Level by one and make this easier. Follow the yellow blip to the final briefcase. It is in a small lot between two buildings. Drive right up to the pack to avoid flying bullets until the last minute to retrieve the briefcase. Get back into the vehicle and drive straight across the street, into the alley, over the ramp, and through another Police Bribe to make it to Auntie Poulet's. Once you begin your attack on them themselves, take out the gettaway car. This way, they cannot get away from you by driving right. You will have the three boats to deal with next. They will be shooting at you any chance they get. Take a nosedive and fire the bombs at the boats. They will be going around in the same sopts over and over again. Once you have all the boats and the Cubans on them boats destroyed, then go after the vehicle. If that is destroyed, then look at the radar for any green blips left. Race from checkpoint to checkpoint until you get all of the checkpoints. Beware of the following warnings. Like the Cuban mission Stunt Boat Challenge, you need to control your turns. Hit the jumps fast, and be careful of the tight areas. Once this mission is completed, you can complete it as many times as you want. The only problem is that each time it will get harder. The prize will increase by $1000, but your better off completeing this once, cause if you keep going and make it to four times, then it will get foggier, and impossible to finish. ------------------------ 4.9 Kaufman Cab Missions ------------------------ ----------- 4.9.1 V.I.P ----------- Payoff: $1000 Description: Teach a rival taxi a lesson by pounding his fare-stealing cab into twisted metal, then deliver your rightful customer to the airport. This will end the mission giving you $1000. ---------------------- 4.9.2 Friendly Rivalry ---------------------- Payoff: $2000 Description: Gain market share by destroying the competition. The objective is to destroy three rival cabs. The markers are on your radar, so it is not hard to track them down. Take out each on either by banging into them, or by drive-by. Just get out of the car when the garage door reopens, and get over the swarming cabs to a safe distance. Detonate the car, and those cars will explode. Another way would be to have a powerful weapons on you incase they destroy your car, and blow them all to smitherings. You might be without a car at this next point. Once the VC Cabs leader shows, take out his tires to slow him down. Then run up to the cab, and pull out the driver. Kill the driver with his own cab, then destroy the cab. Another way is to hide behind a pole and shoot the cab from there. He might start banging into stuff while aiming for you which will help. Keep shooting to cab until it blows up. A Rocket Launcher would help if you have one. Once the mission ends, you will have Kaufman Cab asset completed, and now can make money from it. -------------------- 4.10 Malibu Missions -------------------- ----------------- 4.10.1 No Escape? ----------------- Payoff: $1000 Description: Bust Cam Jones out of jail. Another way to beat Hillary is to have a fast car (either from Sunshine Autos, or the Infernus, or PCJ 600), and get ouy of the car to get into the other one. You will need to complete two laps around the track as well as finish first. Doing this will earn you $100. It may be less money then what you are used to, but it should be fun. ------------------------------ 5.3.2 RC Baron Checkpoint Race ------------------------------ Go to the top floor of the huge parking lot next to the North Point Mall in Vice Point. The RC Barons are like the ones you had to use in Auntie Poulet's Mission Bombs Away!, except that there are not any bombs around. The same rules apply as before, and do not miss any checkpoints, nor release the gas button. This will let you lose control and you will not get that back again. Finidh first will get you $100. --------------------------------- 5.3.3 RC Bandit Checkpoint Pickup --------------------------------- The Airport Top Fun Van will have this mission. Just simply fly the RC helicopter around through 20 checkpoints scattered the airport. Once you get all of these, you will get another $100. ---------------- 5.3.4 Test Track ---------------- Located in Northern Downtown, you will have a choice between a Sanchez and a Landstalker. You will get some money each time you complete 2 laps successfully. You will not have much speed with the Landstalker, but competing against yourself here will not matter. Completing this portion will get you $100 times the amount of times you complete the laps. What the Landtslker has, the Sanchez lacks. Stability is not the thing for the Sanchez. Plus there will be obsticles with this track. Rain will start when you start the mission, making the track slippery, as well some thugs will enter the picture. Eliminate the thugs before they put you in the hospital. A Uzi will be perfect for this mission. Knock the thugs off of their bike before they knock you out of the mission. Once this is done, you will end up with $100 times the amount of times you successfully completely the course. ------------------ 5.4 Arena Missions ------------------ Lcated Downtown, the Hyman Memorial Stadium will offer you one of the following courses you can complete. The stadium will open at 20:00, with three different races. Here they are: Bloodring: You need to drive through the checkpoints as they appear, one after the other in order to increase your overall time. You need to get your overall time above the target time in order to win. You will need to avoid the cars that will keep you from reaching your target goal. If you need to use reverse, then do so. The ground is dirt, so you will have a challenge of not sliding all over the place. When you ram an opponents car, they will take the damage, and vice-versa if they hit you. Use different views to keep on eye on the closest cars that could ram you. Completing this challenge will get you $1000, plus another $100 for every car destroyed. Dirtring: This challenge is on the Sanchez, where you will have to complete each checkpoint with infinite time. You will have to go through 32 checkpoints, but it will be a difficult task. The toughest checkpoints will be the ones on top of the thin, broken wallsor beyond the narrow wooden plank. You need to make sure that you line yourself up perfectly with the narrow edge, and not adjust your steering once you are on that surface. Speed does help during this challenge. This will enable you to sail through distant checkpoints. The thoughest checkpoint in this course will need to be done with a wheelie. You cannot use both tires on the ground. Completing this course 5 minutes will give you $50,000, between 5-10 minutes it will be $10,000, and anything over ten minutes will earn you $5000. Hotring: This one is a NASCAR-style race, with demolition encouraged (being the only difference. This is a 12-lap race. You must finish 1st, 2nd, or 3rd to make money. If you car is destroyed, then you will be disqualified. There will be a pit stop where you can get repaired for any damage, at the risk of losing the lead. Drive-bys can be done here in order to keep your car from getting damaged. Avoid the other cars as much as possible in order to keep your health up for the duration of the race, and ignore the pit stops in order to maintain any lead. Finishing first first will give $5000, second will give you $1500, and third place will get you $500. -------------- 5.5 Cone Crazy -------------- Want to test your driving finesse? This mission will do just that. You have to hit 5 checkpoints in any order. The timer will start counting down from the first checkpoint you pass. Here is the catch, you cannot touch a single cone or the mission will end. Drive carefully, each checkpoint will give you 12 seconds on the clock. $200 will be given to you for completing this mission the first time. The more times you complete it, you will get double the money. A good trick is to reach the two checkpoint markers on the Unique Jump ramp on the southwest corner of the rooftop first. Drive up and turn sharply into the second checkpoint on your way down the other side of the ramp without hitting the cones up there. This will give an extra 24 seconds. This will be enough time to to reach the east checkpoint, then the middle checkpoint, then the final one near the starting position. ------------------ 5.6 Pizza Delivery ------------------ Hop on the Pizza Boy to trigger this little mini-game. You need to deliver your load of pizzas before time expires. Throw the pizzas to your customers by doing a drive-by right next to them. Unload all of the pizzas in time, or else a rival pizza place will get your order. When you need some more pizzas, you can return to pizza shop and restock. Each time you make a delivery, the number of pizzas needed to be delivered will increase. You will out with 6 pizzas, for a single order, then two for 6, three for six, and so on. There will be no time for error for each time you go into the next pizza level. The 5-minute time limit will remain at the same time. You will recieve $10 for each pizza delivered and $5000 for the completion of the strand of deliveries. As well, once you complete Level 10, then you will increase your health to 150 instead of 100. --------------- 5.7 Taxi Driver --------------- Hop into any taxi and the press the horn button to begin taxi driver. Follow the radar blip to the customer, and then drop them off at there destination. There will be a time limit for each level, and making them quickly will get you more time. You will also get speed bonuses. The fare will bail if you drive too recklessly, and too much damage on your car will cause the fare not to enter your vehicle. The amount recieved from each delivery depends on the distance covered and the amount of time it takes to get there. If you complete 100 fares, you will unlock Boost. This will allow any cab-type vehicle to perform a hrdraulic jump. Side Note: Before reading the next section, you might need to know what the reward money is for the Paramedic, Vigilante, and Fire Truck Missions: Level 1: $50 Level 7: $2450 Level 2: $200 Level 8: $3200 Level 3: $450 Level 9: $4050 Level 4: $800 Level 10: $5000 Level 5: $1250 Level 11: $6050 Level 6: $1800 Level 12: $7200 ------------- 5.8 Paramedic ------------- Get into an Ambulance and press the start mission button to trigger this mission. You will recieve a call for an ambulance at a specific location. You must get there in time, then deliver the patient intact to a hospital to complete one run. The longer the streak goes on, the harder it will get. More patients will need to be picked up, and the higher paramedic level you can reach. If you reach and complete Level 12, you will gain Infinite Sprint. This means that Tommy will never get tired. ------------- 5.9 Vigilante ------------- Get into a Cop Car, or a Tank for this mission, then press the start mission button. You will need to be a bounty hunter for this mission. The more criminals you eliminate, then the more time goes up. The longer the mission goes on, the more cars and criminals will appear. Using the Tank is the best thing to do here.It may be slow, but it shoot out of the gun, and it helps. Completing Level 12 will get you 150 Armor. If you want another mission to try, then collect 100 Hidden Packages, then get the secret vehicle from the army base. Press down the start mission button will generate the mission "Brown Thunder." This mission is extremely fun, and it is easier to make it to Level 12 as well. --------------- 5.10 Fire Truck --------------- Hop into the Fire Truck in the Downtown fire station and press the start mission button to start this mission. Using thr siren will get the cars to move out of your way, making it easier to get to your destination. Use the gun button to spray the water out of the hose. Use the gas and reverse buttons to aim the water onto the burning cars. When the occupants of the vehicles escape, then you will need to dose them off to complete the level The higher the level, the more cars and burning people will come. After completing 12 levels, then you will become fireproof. ------------------- 5.11 PCJ Playground ------------------- 24 checkpoints to reach within a 2-minute time limit. This will start when you pass the first checkpoint. It is a simple thing to do, the only thing is as you can tell be the name of the mission, this is on a PCJ 600. Many of the checkpoints are on top of buildings. Maintain control carefully of your bike through the jumps and between narrow alleys to finish in time. You will $1000 for completing the race. Beat your time and on your next attemp you will recieve another $1000 and so forth. ----------------------------- 5.12 Chopper Checkpoint Races ----------------------------- There are four helicopters scattered throughout Vice City and within reach. Entering one will start the checkpoint mission over the city. Like the RC races, you are competing against your own time, and will recieve $100 for each one you play and successfully pass. Moving in the chopper is the same thing like moving in the helicopter. It is the same buttons used. Here are where the four locations are for each Checkpoint race: Ocean Beach Chopper Checkpoint: Located on a pink rooftop, on the same building where you end the PCJ Playground challenge. Avoid the buildings, trees, and other solid objects here, and keep your chopper healthy while securing each checkpoint to maintain altitude. When you see a checkpoint in tight areas, then just descend, while hovering above the checkpoint in order to get it. Use the blips on the radar to help you out. Little Haiti Chopper Checkpoint: The location of this one is on a rooftop in Little Haiti, just past a Police Bribe and a Unique Jump alley ramp. You will be flying around Little Haiti, collecting 22 checkpoints. Most of these checkpoints are easy to get and do not require any fancy manuvers. Vice Point Chopper Checkpoint: This chopper location will be in a neighboorhood in somebody's backyard. The first four checkpoints will require you to dodge one palm tree after another, but once that is done, then it will get easier. You will then be flying around North Point Mall and back toward town. 17 checkpoints in total, but the obsticles will make up for that. Downtown Chopper Checkpoint: By it'sname, you know it is located Downtown, but it is on the drive building you drive onto in the mission "G-Spolight." This challenge will take you low, along the streets of Downtown, and under the V.A.J Finance building. It will even take you though the building you had to go through in "G-Spotlight." 28 checkpoints will be located around here, most of which are located near buildings and narrow streets. It will be difficult to keep your blade off of the buildings, and your helicopter may not be in good condition for completing this challenge, but luckily, you will be racing against yourself, and you can learn the route as well improving you skills as you go along. ----------- 6.
